"Since its a two week suspension, I'm thinking of a mother and daughter camping trip. What do you Claudia!". Elena said mustering a bright smile.

Claudia ignored her and kept on munching her popcorn and watching the TV.

Elena looked away with tears in her eyes.

"Claudia, I don't understand why you're acting this way. I just don't get when you became this cold".

Claudia said nothing.

Elena continued. "You used to be sure a cute happy girl". Elena said almost sobbing.

"But now lying that I'm not your mother". Elena said her sobs becoming louder.

Claudia's fist clenched around the remote control but she said nothing, she was becoming irritated by Elena.

"I didn't know you hated me. But why Claudia? What have I done to you?".

"Who is my father?". She asked out of the blues.

Elena was taken back a little bit, she had not expect that question so she wasn't prepared. Claudia had never asked that question before.

"Well uhn.. See... That's not the point. It's not important right now. Why did you punch that girl?. You should be in big trouble for fighting at school".

"I didn't fight. I beat her up and I did it for a freaking reason. Now who is my father?".

"I'm your mother and that's all that matters".

"Were you a hoe?". Claudia asked indignantly.

"Claudia". Elena gasped.

"Don't you talk to me that way".

"Then tell me who my father is".

Elena opened her mouth to speak then hesitated. "We are going to the mother and daughter camping trip and that's all I have to tell you".

Claudia glared wickedly at Elena and flung the TV remote control, then she raced up stairs into her room slamming the door.

"Tough day uhn?".

Elena was startled "Mellisa I told you to stop spying on us!". Elena said holding her chest in relief.

"I don't gat no choice lady. Anyways, I brought you this". Mellisa said handling Elena a stack of cash.

"Thank you Melissa what would I do without you. Where do you get this money from anyways?".

"I steal them of course".

"And you never get caught?".

"Nope. Vampires are really sneaky and I have my special ways".

"I've been thinking this days. Maybe we should get a job".

"A job?". Mellisa coughed out. "You ain't got no degree girlfriend and neither do I. And I don't want to dirty my hands being a domestic helper"

Elena gasped sadly "If only I hadn't spent so much time in the world".

"There's nothing to worry about Elena. I ain't dying anytime soon and I keep on giving you lots of money. What you should be worrying about right now is your daughter. That bitch got cray cray".

"Don't call her that. Anyways you should leave before she comes down".

"The way I see things is different, she ain't coming down no more today and you'd better buy her a lunch bag and get yourself some good clothes. Honestly, if you were my mama I would be embarrassed of you. You just showed up out of no where with raggy cloths and an ugly lunch and then say "I'm Claudia's mother". Geez girlfriend going gotta sauce up".

When is she gonna leave, Elena thought.

"Hey be careful I can read minds you know".

"Oops". Elena giggled.

"Why not come with me to buy the rest of the camping equipment we need. I'd be fun".

"Ohhh yesss I'm in". Melissa shrieked.

"Shhhh". Elena said "She could hear you".

Mellisa giggled and Elena was forced to giggle along.

*Vampire kingdom*

"Alaric!. Spike has escaped". Cassius smiled.

"Escaped?". Alaric exclaimed not noticing the smile on Cassius face.

He raced to the dungeon and behold! There was no spike in sight.

"How did he escape?". He asked Otis who was standing beside the dungeon.

"He took out the guards and fled". Otis answered.

"Fled to where?". Alaric was enraged.

"We don't know".

"Have the guards search the five kingdoms. Spike must be found". Alaric commanded.

He was now in charge since Silas unfortunate exit.

As Alaric walked anxiously back to his room, D'Arcy the princess trainer approached him.

"I heard the rules rumors, did Spike really run away?".

"Yes but he'll be found soon". Alaric said through gritted teeth.

"I think you have other things to worry about now. You must find out where your father kept the *night* so that you and your brother can go into the human world and bring back an army then start a kingdom".

"There are more serious things to worry about right now. Who will take care of this kingdom if we leave now and besides we have no idea where the *night* is".

"It's in form of a bracelet on your fathers wrist". D'Arcy told him.

"How did you know?".

"Oh please child. I've lived one third of a millennium".

"We can't leave the kingdom unsupervised".

"Just find the *night* first ". D'Arcy advised.

Immediately Alaric left, D'Arcy smirked to herself.

My plan is getting a shape. I will definitely get what I want. D'Arcy said to herself as she walked into the shadows.

"It's gone". Alaric said to himself. "The *night* is gone". His skin reddened in anger and tears fought their ways into his eyes.

"Spike...." Alaric growled.
