"Nooo!".

"Spike be calm!". Silas thundered in his firmest voice.

"Noooooo!". Spike's outburst vibrated louder causing the walls to shake and the floor to agitate. He was furiously fidgeting and a deep frown was carved in his face.

"I won't take this. I deserve to have a bride".

With that, he moved towards the table laid with dinner and turned it over with his strength. The table out turned and all the food on it went flying into all directions with loud crashing sounds.

"Oh boy!". Cassius Exclaimed.

Silas cursed under his breath, Spike was crossing the line. Silas's veins peaked out in bumbs over his face reddened with anger.

"Spike stop this foolishness". Alaric shouted loudly.

The occasion had been going very well and everything was perfect until it was time for the princesses to choose their mate.

Princess Belle choose Otis. Princess Esme choose Alaric. Princess Amber choose Lilith.

Princess Layla was almost about to choose Spike but she choose Cassius.

Spike was enraged, he was the hottest and he knew it so why wasn't he chosen.

Spike had already fallen for Layla and he wanted her no matter what.

"You didn't get chosen and theres nothing that can change that". Lilith told Spike.

"Does that mean he'll have to stay with father while the rest of us.... "Cassius was starting to say but Otis was quick to kick his shin.

Spike stood still for a very brief moment and made eye contact with Layla.

Spike had really really wanted Layla to choose him. He had known Layla for long, they had been meeting in secret after they met a long time ago.

It was after the fight with the alpha wolf. His brothers were making fun of him with every chance they got and he couldn't bare it anymore.

"What do werewolves eat after getting their teeth cleaned?". Lilith randomly asked.

"The dentist". Otis answered.

The four of them burst into laughter and Spike glared at them.

"What happened to the were wolf that fell into the washing machine?". Otis started.

"We don't know what".

"A wash and wearwolf". Otis said.

"Ah ah ahhhhhhhhh". They erupted with laughter cackling.

"I got one too". Cassius stopped them. "What's a were wolf favorite day of the week".

"Moonday!".

They cackled all together trying to avoid eye contact with spike.

"OK get this, how do were wolves eat lunch?". Alaric started.

"They wolf it down".

"I've had enough!". Spike flared up and stamped his foot furiously on the asphalt floor.

Alaric, Lilith, Otis and Cassius were deep into laughter. Cassius was holding the side of his stomach in both pain and laughter.

Spike speed out of the castle in annoyance leaving behind his brothers in a state of hilarity.

Spike wondered off in anger. He had decided to run away from home and leave his annoying brothers.

"They can laugh all they want now and that's good. I'm never going to go back to that mad house ever again. They'll...... "

A loud shriek of fright stopped spike on his track. It was coming from 14 miles away but he heard it loud and clear, he immediately ran there in a blink leaving behind a cloud of dust.

He no longer felt pain on his lower back.

Reaching his destination, Spike found a girl furiously backing a tree in fright, yelling and gasping, she was facing a wolf.

The wolf looked vicious and was hungrily Growling at the girl with wide open mouth and spit dripping from his long wide wolf teeth. His fur was light brown.

"Arrrgh..". Her eyes drifted and she saw spike.

"Please, please help me". She begged. Her eyes were filled with tears and she was sobbing loudly.

Spike eyed the wolf mindfully. The wolf was not an alpha wolf and he didn't look too big to tackle.

"Here goes nothing".

Spike jumped between the girl and the wolf face the wild canid.

"Back down right now or else.." spike threatened.

He knew very well the wolf could transform into a sapien form.

"Stand back!!". Spike commanded.

The wolf refused and kept on howling.

"Oh please!". The girl sobbed.

"I warned you". Spike flared.

"Ahhr". Spike attacked the wolf with his strong vampire hands. Vampires were extra ordinarily strong.

The wolf lunged forward too with his sharp teeth aiming at Spike's neck and claws stretched out.

The Vampire and wolf tackled each other to the floor. Spike was below and the wolf was above trying to bite into spike's body but spike was desperately holding on to his neck and upper limbs.

The girl screamed terrified.

Spike mustered all his strength and courage to tip over the wolf and bite into his neck, he sucked his blood and ripped out the wolf's heart at the same time.

The fight was over, the Vampire had won.

Spike turned around to look at the girl, his face and body was covered in the wolf's blood.

The girl was a vampire. She still had tears on her face and looked scared.

"Tha...thank you.. ". She sniffed.

"How could you call yourself a vampire, you can't even kill a freaking wolf".

The girl sobbed even louder. Spike rolled his eyes, girls.

"You owe me one okay?. I saved your life".

The girl nodded.

"What's your name?". Spike asked.

"It's l... Layla".

"Well I'm Spike". Spike said proudly.

That was when they met, spike had saved Layla's life.

"Why are out here alone".

"I ran away, I wanted time to myself. I have to do princess training and I'm very bad at it and the others are making fun of me. So I ran off".

Since then, spike and Layla had met 6 more times before it was impossible for them to meet.

But Spike remembered Layla and he knew she remembers him too. So why didn't she pick him, he saved her life.

Spike pointed to Layla.

"If I don't get her, no one will".

He picked up one of the knives on the floor and pointed it at Layla. He was going to stab her and kill her. Cassius won't have her either.

His brothers were instantly taken back and the princesses moved back and screamed especially Layla.

"Spike stop". Silas moved in front of him trying to stop him.

"Spike!!!". His brothers shouted as the knife pierced the wrong person. It pierced into Silas's j.....
