Chapter 4 SEAL

[Jack! I've been contacting you, what's the situation there?] Yule said abruptly.

[Captain, I'm sorry, but all of us are occupied. where are you?] Jack said.

[We're on the eastern border. we came here as soon as we receive Leo's message. what's the situation in the capital?] Yule said

[Captain, it's chaotic here. Hordes keep on coming. the Knights and mages are all exhausted.] Jack said

[what about the civilians?] Yule asked.

[Annah evacuated them, and Leo is on their way to assist you there,] Jack said.

[Good job, keep up the good work. what about the royal family?] Yule asked.

[They're safe, they command the royal guards and knights to help the evacuation process..... Yule, be safe] Jack said

[I will. focused on your duties, we'll get there as soon as we got the Hordes under control here.]

A moment later the reinforcement arrives and the healers help the civilians to heal their injuries. Eli rushes to Yule. He saw her body full of blood.

"Yule, I told you. I should--" Yule cuts what he was saying and pointed at the civilians who were recovering.

"Thanks to you. all of them are alive." she said and look at Eli. she smack him in the head less aggresively compared to earlier.

"Next time, listen to me." she said and go to the civilians who were injured.

'I'm glad, you're safe.' he said to his mind while caressing his face.

The Hordes in the east have been subdued, and they are no longer appearing everywhere. Leo provides her armor, which she quickly puts on.

The destruction in the Kingdom was unbearable to see. Yule, Eli, and Leo return to the capital city as soon as they finish dealing with the east.

"So, the capital was the target of the attack?" Yule said, noting that when she saw the situation in the capital, she nearly didn't recognize the city due to the devastation. She observed the knights take care of all the dead and gathered them in one spot. The grieving family and friends are sobbing as loudly as they can to ease the feeling of loss.

Yule's chest tightened, clutching her chest as she sees the scenery. she can feel all the pain, devastation, and grief just by looking at them.

"Who...Who was behind this?" Yule asks coldly, expressionless. Annah, Leo, and Jack shake their heads to say that they don't know. she looked down thinking who could possibly attack their Kingdom by using a demon.

When lightning struck many times on the open field, everyone was scared and becomes quiet. the citizen was trembling with fear as Yule felt weird when she saw that lightning was the reason for the Hordes' appearance.

"Everyone! evacuate the citizens to a safer place. Hordes are coming!" Yule said as the Hordes suddenly appeared and came into the area where the lightning struck.

"Eli!" Yule called for Eli and he nodded as if he knows what he needs to do.

"Annah, heal all the knights and mages first. I need them." Yule said and Annah gave a nod and obey her.

"Jack, stop all the hordes and keep them from reaching the evacuation area," she shouted, as Jack dashed to the field and slaughtered the Hordes to keep them out from reaching the evacuated area.

"Leo, summon your golems and lead them to the location of the lightning; we need to identify the source."

While Leo was using his golems to go where the lightning was striking, Yule was guarding him to keep the Hordes at bay. because Leo has to concentrate in order to figure out who is to blame for all of this devastation He has the ability to see through his golems.

"I can see him." Leo said. Yule look at him.

"who was it?" Yule seriously asks.

'We just came back from the world peace treaty, and someone wants to mess with us using their demon?' she said to her mind.

"It's...I can't believe it." Leo said as his golems reach where the lightning strikes multiple times.

There, he sees a black fog surrounding a black-haired man, with a white complexion and a crimson blood eyes. only the lightning serves his source of light. When the huge light strikes. the Demon smirks at the golems and smashes them causing Leo to lose sight of that place. Leo seems to lose his strength and trembles. Yule catches him before he slumps to the ground.

"who was it? tell me..."Yule said and Leo looked at her nervously. holds her hand.

"It's...Eros" he said, widening her eyes.

"W-what?" Yule can't believe it. looks at the field, dumbfounded.

she immediately goes to the field and confronted Eros, there she sees his hunger for killing innocent people.

"Eros..." she said, gritting her teeth. Eros smirks and suddenly Yule attacks him using her Ice magic.

While her squad members were busy with their tasks. Yule and Eros are fighting in the field. you can see from afar their auras and magic are scattered in the place.

"Where's the captain?" Jack asks and Leo pointed at the field widening Jack's eyes.

"Where's the captain?" Eli suddenly appeared and Leo also pointed to the field.

both of them are ready to rush over Yule, but Leo stopped them.

"Don't worry, she's winning. she's not the captain for no reason." he confidently said. "take care of your task given to you by the captain."

Eli hesitates but he remembers what Yule said to him earlier. both of them let a deep sigh and they continue to do their task.

A moment later, the Hordes stop appearing and they receive a message through telepathy communication magic.

[come here, we're going to seal him] Yule said solemnly.
