Chapter 5 04: SORRY

"You got what you deserved because you blocked our path," a woman with make-up on her face stated. Her face is a work of art. It would have been lovely if she didn't have such an unpleasant demeanor. Cristine was furious to the peak of rage. She has a strong desire to punch someone. She believes that these girls were only copying the mean girls, and that she, as the greater person, should be the one to try to understand them. They are in the process of maturing. Is she, on the other hand, an adult?

She took the girl's hand as they were going to pass them. Cristine despises people who get away with their mistakes. Females are completely lacking in manners. They should apologize for using proper decorum. If they don't know, she should teach them.

"Where do you think you're going, running away without even saying sorry? Say sorry first before I break your face, and I guarantee you lady, you're going to borrow your dog's face after a blow," Cristine says. She is currently enraged. She has no desire to make amends with anyone.

While gossiping, the students are now glancing at them. They're a bunch of Marites, to be certain. Tch! Is it possible for them to mind their own business? Cristine desires to remove their tongues.

"Please, Cristine, don't," Hannah pleaded as she yanked Cristine's arm. Cristine wondered if Hannah would be so generous as to release those individuals. But, alas, she will not let it. She does not deserve to be mistreated in this manner. Kindness is out of fashion. It's not a good idea to be a martyr. Fight for your rights; you are allowed to do so.

"No, Hannah. They're rude. I don't want them to walk away without even saying sorry. A simple apology will suffice." Cristine's face was a mix of rage and anger. She is restrained from committing violence against these imbeciles. The ladies are perplexed. The surroundings fell silent.

"Are you crazy?" the woman's booming voice, dripping with make-up, echoed down the corridor. Cristine lifts her brows at the ladies, as if she were observing a patient in a mental facility.

"Do I appear insane like you?" Cristine asked, emphasizing the word "you." She sassily raised her brows, as if preparing to punch someone up. Cristine finds their reaction amusing. Their features had become twisted. As though she'd uttered something very heinous.

"You've never heard of us?" the cold-tempered girl inquired, puzzled. Cristine assumed the woman had suffered a skull fracture. Is it necessary for her to know them? Who are they and what are their identities? They're celebrities, right? She has a few acquaintances in the entertainment industry.

"Why? Are you that important so we can figure out who you are? Tch! I believe you're all insane; this is foolishness!" Cristine complains. "Can we just drop the conversation? Can you just say sorry or should I repeat what I said earlier?" She worries she has lowered her IQ to that of theirs.

"You're incredible and brave, and I admire you," the woman with the icy demeanor said monotonously. She is deafeningly quiet and has been watching them fight from the start. Why is it that she refuses to help her friends? Cristine isn't sure if they're all in the same group. The girl's entire body exudes dignity.

Cristine assumed the girl was a lesbian. It couldn't be right, she thought.

"I'll take that as a compliment," Cristine stuttered, mistaking the girl for a suitor. No thanks because she doesn't swing to the other side. Cristine reasoned that she was overthinking things and that the girl had simply expressed her admiration for her.

To those females, the woman simply said, "Say sorry." Cristine believed the girl was a bit cool. Her eyes twinkled with adoration as she watched the girl.

"Y-yes, Queen!" stuttered the girls, who responded with fright in their voices and bowed. The girl has the appearance of a queen. They pampered her as if she were a member of the royal family. Isn't following someone's orders and responding with respect reserved for individuals with high status?

"We're sorry," they all said. Cristine's eyes were squinted. She was perplexed as to why the girls trembled as they apologized to her. She believed she had guessed properly.

The young woman was gorgeous. Her outfit is quite flattering on her. Her hair was styled perfectly, her eyes were piercing, her nose was exquisite, and her lips were rosy. She adores the color of her eyes. Aren't those contact lenses in her eyes? Her eyes are the same hue as a young master's, but lighter. Her long black hair has white highlights. Why should she be feared by the girls?

Cristine simply nodded and walked away, pulling Hannah after her. "Cristine, that's not the way to the cafeteria," Hannah smiled as she tried to hold back her laughter. It's wonderful to laugh every once in a while.

"I'm really hungry and don't know where the cafeteria is," Cristine pouted childishly as she rubbed her tummy. Cristine still has moments when she acts like a child.

Hannah hugs Cristine unexpectedly, surprising her, and she responds with a backtap. Did Cristine think Hannah would fall in love with her? Cristine is a certified narcissist who believes that she will make everyone fall in love with her.

Hannah sniffed gratefully and murmured, "Thank you so much, Cristine." Did she shed a tear? It was a bit of an exaggeration, but you can't blame everyone for being affected. You aren't them.

Cristine was taken aback and said, "For what?" She was perplexed as to what Hannah was thankful for.

Hannah replied with a broad smile, "For earlier." Cristine believed it was insignificant, while Hannah saw it as a significant event for a timid person.

"Gosh, it's just like that? You're a friend, and there's enough reason to side with you. We're absolutely on the right side. Can we go to the cafeteria now?" Cristine's face looked like a puppy yearning for food. She's hungry again after eating her packed breakfast in Clyde's car. Her first day was somewhat eventful.

Hannah replied with a joking salute, "Yes, Ma'am." She's an adorable little thing. Cristine compared Hannah to a child. Hannah inspired Cristine to defend her. Cristine wasn't sure if this sensation would become a burden in the future, but she hoped she was worth the risk.

A/N:

It's not good to threaten someone and then refuse to apologize, especially if you're the one who caused the problem. Be aware of yourself!

Marites is a Filipino word formed from "Mare, anong latest?" translates to "Friend, what's the latest?" in English.", a question that is frequently asked by persons who are gossipy and too interested in other people's lives.
