** Alpha Ryker's POV **

I winced yet in pains as my heart made a loud thud.

I was certain that my weak mate was in trouble or was hurt as the result I was feeling some of her pains.

Some what,me rejecting her has caused a huge fall back in a lot of things and people around.

"Zack. "

I called on to my wolf who had being silent since the events of yesterday.

He was practically mad at me for rejecting his mate.

"come on Zack. Let's talk this out should we?"

I asked again and yet he kept quiet.

"it's only being a day since I showed myself to you and your already so cruel to me by rejecting her. You should know I can't leave without her! She's my mate no matter what she is... You called her ugly weak and pethatic... But you weren't able to see through her.

She's not ugly but out of shape because she was neglected,if you had accepted her then you and me could have trained her into at least a strong girl even if she isn't a wolf. If you wanted her to be pretty the you could have gabbed her up into a pretty girl... But what did you do? You rejected her! Now tell me between the two of you who is the biggest coward? Who's the weak one? "

Zack rasped out in an angry tone, it was the first time he had talked to me since the ceremony.

I closed my eyes as his voice was too loud in my head.

"I don't like her. I love someone else... "

I muttered to Zack who I could tell was fuming with anger.

"how dare you! "

Zack snapped.

"I can feel it! She's in pains... Send someone to find her right away or I'll be the end of you! "

He snapped again.

I sighed.

The door busrted open immediately and Tammy came in.

"babe... "

She called and smiled at me ruefully.

"hey... "

I called tenderly.

She walked towards me slowly and sat on my laps,straddling me.

" I'm sad... I mean we two love each other but I didn't get chosen as your mate... Why is the moon goddess so cruel? Ugh! "

She asked and sighed.

"don't be sad... I love only you babe.. She can't come between us now. I already rejected her remember? "

I said and tugged at her cheeks.

She smiled and giggled.

"thank you for not letting go of me even at the expense of your mate... I won't ever let you go either.. "

She said and kissdmed me gently.

I grabbed her *ss and drew her closer deepening the kiss.

I sucked and nibbled at her lower lips as she pulled played with my hair as she kissed me back.

It was getting deep and wet.

She moaned and I groaned in rhythm.

"aaarghh.. Mm..mn.. Mmmmn..."

She moaned out in a loud and clear voice.

I unlocked the kiss and moved to her neck biting and sucking all the way down to her collar.

My hands roamed her upper cleavage as she threw her head back.

There was a knock on the door...

I groaned and she hissed.

"who's it? "I asked in a grumpy voice.

"can I come in?"Jaxon's voice was low and heavy.

"come in in.. "My voice was cold.

"you should go. "I said to Tammy who looked at me, sighed and left.

The door creaked open as soon as she was about to reach for the handle.

She glared at Jaxon and went out in a hurry.

He walked up to me and sighed seating on the chair next to me.

"what's with the long face man? "I asked him as I noticed his groovy face.

"I've combed up the entire pack but still can't find her. My mother is currently not talking not me. "

He muttered as he sighed.

"who are you talking about. Why is your mother not talking to you? "I asked him oblivious and confused.

"don't you get it Ry? I'm talking about the mate you rejected.. Don't you f*cking care what the impact of your rejection did to her? "

He snapped at me.

I looked him with a cold face.

"why what happened? Did she kill herself? And how does that have anything to do with you. Why are you questioning me like a criminal dude? "

I snapped.Fummed. I was surprised of his sudden mood swing.

The Jaxon I know Is a very carefree person and doesn't meddle with other people's business if it's not necessary.

"because that's Melanie! That's my kid sister.. And now I can't find her anywhere in the pack. She left... Am not even sure she's alive since she's already left..

Now mother doesn't even wants to see.. She could be dead by now.. Those rogues.."

He sighed and broke down.

I was in a daze.

So the Melanie that was supposed to be my beta's sister was my mate.

The one whom I rejected.

I couldn't speak for a moment.

"it's my fault she's that way. I hated her and never took her as a sister.. And now she's gone.. I've lost her. "

He muttered and ruffled his hair.

I sighed. It really was a mess right now.

"I'm really sorry man.. But there's nothing I can do. I don't love her she's weak and not fit to be my luna. The only thing I could do was reject her on the spot so as not to give her any hopes.. " I apologised.

I usually don't talk to anyone not to think of apologizing.

Not even my parents or anyone gets the type of respect I give to my beta.

"you could have just done it in a mild way not to hurt her completely. That was the worst and heart breaking rejection I've ever seen I and to think I also participated in that.

What was I thinking!"

He snapped and stood up as he stompedbout of the room leaving me behind.

Well the deed has already being done.

I don't like her, in fact I hate her at first sight so there's nothing I could do. I don't care if I hurt my beta's feelings. I just don't care. I shrugged and left for the bathroom afterwards.

"this is the farthest I can go. Rest in peace in advance. But if you ever get out of there don't forget to help me out also.. Hahahah! that's if I'm still alive. " Charlie cracked and let go of Melanie's hands.

The two where currently in front of a huge desert. The biggest and darkest of all deserts one could imagine.

There was no trace of sunlight around the area.

It was dark and cloudy that one could get lost in it for millions of years.

"OMG. Is this what I'm supposed not pass through. So what happens if I successfully pass through this huge desert which is like fifty kilometres in width... Are you kidding me? "

Melanie asked.

"good bye girl. Till I see you in the after life. I hope to be friends with you then... "

Charlie muttered and turned around.

In a swift she was out of sight.

Melanie tried calling after her as outmost fear gripped her but she was gone.

It really was a bad idea following the damn route.
