"Well don't you think it's absurd that something like this happens Almost every week. Students are dying like Chickens every week"
A girl with blonde hair and black eyes suddenly sat down sniffing while cleaning her already swollen eyes.
Karen Bane, Travis's girlfriend.
No one said anything just flashing her sympathetic looks.
"That murdering son of a..." Karen paused and said. "How dare he ..."
Annabelle frowned.
"How are you sure It's a he"
Diana who was eating noticed someone's gaze lingering on her.
She was extremely beautiful, she knew that she would often gain the attention of several students even females but this particular gaze had been lingering on her since she sat down to eat.
As Cassandra and Karen bantered on which gender the murderer could be, she looked up and her green orbs grab hold of black ones.
Eh? What is he looking at me for?
Raiden noticed that she had spotted him peering at her like a creep so he bent down almost burying his face in his food.
Diana noticed he was the only one seated on a bench, alone with no one to talk to.
She kept on looking at him, finding his reaction to her looking at him cute.
So she kept on looking at him to tease him.
As she gazed at him, he became more uncomfortable and swung his fork around his food aimlessly trying hard to look down.
'So now you know what it feels like to get stared at'
She said and Raiden shot his head up in time to see her smirk and look back at her food.
His eyes widened and he parted his lips in surprise.
That was because she was sitting several metres away from him but he could clearly hear what she said.
Did she just communicate with him, telepathically.
As usual, Diana walked ahead of the other girls.
She was the leader with Amber behind her followed by Annabelle, Samantha and Karen.
They were the Fivers
A group of beautiful girls with skirts as short as hell to show off her their long smooth sexy legs. They were the terror of the school and no one In their right senses would ever want to cross their paths.
Even boys... except their boyfriends of course.
But Diana wasn't the type of Person to commit herself to a boy, she was more of a play girl. Have fun with him and toss him away when you're bored, get a new one later.
And despite knowing her attitude and nature, boys still threw themselves at her. Because she was just so out-of-this-world beautiful and sexy.
The Fivers went to an empty class to spend some time together while class sessions were going on.
Annabelle was painting Karen's nails while Samantha was painting Amber's nails.
Diana was seated down, arms folded, eyes closed, head leaned back.
You would think she was in the same room with you but yes...her body was ..but her spirit and mind wasn't. She was far off from earth but no one knew.
Suddenly, Raiden enters into the class. His backpack hung on one of his shoulders as usual.
He had on a straight face as he said without waiting for the other girls to recover.
"I want to talk to you"
He was looking straight at Diana whose eyes was closed.
"Is this some joke or something" Amber said, fuming while glaring at him. "Get lost"
"Diana" He said avoiding Amber like she was a fly.
"He's new. He probably doesn't know her" Annabelle said smirking evilly.
"I don't care. He can't just come in unannounced and ..."
"What's going on" Diana voice suddenly echoed in the class.
Everyone thought she had awoken from a quick nap.
All of them failed to notice how her eyes glowed back from ruby red to her usual green color.
She frowned when she sees Raiden.
"What are you doing here"
"He came to talk to you" Amber said, scoffing.
"It's important. I won't take much of your time" Raiden was quick to say.
"I certainly don't have time for people like you" Diana said nonchalantly.
The other girls tittered while Amber glared at him in satisfactory.
"Leave while I'm still being nice or I'll break the remains of your glasses" Amber sneered
Raiden looked at Diana but she had her eyes closed again, leaning back.
He grits his teeth and leaves.
"Imagine the guts of that guy" Sam turned to Diana. "Say, did you happen to run into him. He's acting like you guys have met"
Diana just smirked.
"Maybe we have maybe we haven't. Who knows, I might have forgotten"
During History class, Diana decided to show up for class.
Her friends were separated in other classes so she was alone in Class 12C
Luckily for her, the only seat available was the one at the back but to her dismay it was right behind Raiden's.
Ignoring him as usual, she sat down and pulled out her books.
She noticed the teacher nicknamed Miss Anti-tardy was late for the first time so turning to the girl beside her, she whispered.
"What happened. I'm noticing a lack of teachers today. Even Miss Anti-tardy is late"
The girl pushed up her big glasses
"That's because they're all trying to investigate the death of Travis. They say he was murdered in the boy' restroom and the CCTV camera didn't catch anything. It was all a blur"
"Hmm" Diana just said turning back to her books. She bent down to read noticing it was pretty much what some people were doing while the others seemed to be happy about the absence of teachers today and whiled away their time on their phones.
Raiden was also trying to read but he got interrupted by someone throwing him crumpled up papers every now and then.
He would push up his glasses and ignore them but the papers flew like hard copy distractions landing on his forehead or nose before settling down on his book.
He looked up to see Jake and some of his pathetic friends who were of course part of the mischief.
But he couldn't do anything
He just had to sit there and let them do what they wanted ...
Diana who was watching everything pursed her lips and glared at Raiden wondering how someone could just sit there and get bullied by his fellow classmates.
Soon, Jake mistakenly tosses a paper and it went past Raiden's ears to hit Diana on the face.
For a moment, everyone gasped and there was a stand still silence as they all waited for what would happen.
Raiden turned sideways to look at her.
Diana angrily hit the surface of her table and stands up, screeching her chair backwards.
"Who threw this" She said raising the crumpled paper up.
Raiden turned and his mouth almost fell open as he watched Jake and his friends tremble in fear!!!
"No one wants to talk" A brow raised on her face, she smirked evilly. "Then maybe I should just let everyone here do squats on the ground... how's that"
'She can't do that' Raiden thought, frowning.
'Try me' She said but in his head again!!!
He turned to look at her but she was looking up ahead like he wasn't there.
Jake stands up
"It wasn't meant to hit you...please forgive me"
Raiden suddenly frowned wanting to know why someone as big and intimidating as Jake would crumble low before a girl like Diana.
"So it was you" With that, she walks over to him and pushes him slightly so that he was seated and she was towering over him.
She shoved the paper in his hand
"Eat it"
Raiden blinked.
'I didn't hear her well right?'
"W..what?" Jake asked with a petrified look.
Diana rolled her eyes.
"You know how impatient I am with repeating myself. I said..eat it!"
Jake looked at the paper and looked back at her pleadingly.
"Maybe next time you'd think about throwing papers in class like a hoodlum"
Jake's hand trembled as he held the paper in his hands. He looked up and on seeing Raiden watching him, he glared at him.
"You're making me angry" She growled and suddenly slams her two hands on the table which made everyone tremble especially Jake and he threw the paper into his mouth and chewed it with a sour expression on his face.
She kept watching him with an evil smirk on her face till he swallowed the paper with tears in his eyes.
