Chapter 5 Suppression of Feelings

Georgina looked at Pamila while she was driving the car. She was happy to find a friend in her new home. She can't imagine her life if Pamila didn't talk to her on the bench that day.

She smiled and looked at the purple sky. The sun started to set, showing distant sparkles of stars in the beautiful sky. The cool autumn breeze mixed with the car's uplifting music fired up Georgina's spirit and shouted to her lungs. Pamila was laughing at her silliness.

When they are nearing Marcus's pool party, Georgina remembers Noah. She wanted to ask Pamila about him, but she didn't want her to think anything, so she just shut her mouth. Besides, Noah came from a higher grade. Maybe he won't be at his party. She would surely feel awkward. They haven't seen them... Georgina blushed and tried to erase it in her thoughts.

Her attention was caught when Marcus came in their direction and hugged her and Pamila tightly.

"Hey girls," Marcus greeted them, Georgina didn't realize they had already arrived at Marcus' place. He turned his whole body around while walking deeper into their house. It was a big 2nd story house with a fair lawn area. She didn't imagine she would get to experience having a party in this cool place, Marcus's house.

There are already a lot of people inside. They headed straight to the pool area. Georgina hears giggles from people swimming in the pool. Marcus takes off his robe and shows his funny outfit, and invites them to join him before he jumps into the clear water. The people are waiting for him to plunge in and give him a water toss. After a short while, they started to laugh and giggle.

Georgina smiled and turned her eyes around. Pamila had already seen a group of their classmates and sat beside the vacant seat on the long couch in the living room. Georgina passed by the group and made her way into the crowded kitchen; she wanted to get something to drink. She suddenly felt thirsty.

Her eyes roam around looking for someone she might know, but everything is still unfamiliar to her. There are familiar faces that give her a smile, and she smiles back. She got one of the sodas placed on the counter. There were also different drinks she had just seen, but she chose the most familiar. She grabbed the drink and hurriedly placed it into her mouth.

She closed her eyes in the instant of relief. But when she opened her eyes,

She was greeted with the set of deep blue eyes that lingers in her dream almost every night after they kissed.

She turned her head to the other side, pretending she didn't see Noah. Her face reddened, she was hoping Noah didn't notice her reaction.

She half expected he would come to her judging from the way he looked at her earlier. She shakes her head for this king too much.

Noah just came in from the house when he saw Goergina in the kitchen. Though he doesn't want to give importance to the feelings she provoked in him, he can't help but admire her. She was stunning tonight. He was more encouraged when he saw how he affected her. Sensation waves through his body when she turns her eyes away from him.

He didn't know, but something wanted to draw him closer to her. He started to move forward in her direction when he changed his mind when the picture of his mother with another man appeared. He scowls and avoids Georgina immediately.

Noah received a text message from his boys, but he was not in the mood to join the party. He was still frustrated when he saw his mother secretly answering her phone. He had a suspicion it was her secret lover. He hurriedly grabbed his leather jacket and hurried to the party.

Georgina could see Noah coming in her direction, but she was a little hurt when she saw him scowl as if he was upset or something.

She was half pleased, half dismayed when he turned away from her. She examined herself, and when she was sure her nervousness was already gone, she went back to the living room and sat beside Pamila.

Pamila hugs her and gives her a beer. She accepts the bottle though she doesn't know how to drink. The night was starting to roll with the loud music, beer all over the place, splashing, and people gushy moving around the place.

One of the crowd shouted,

"Spin the bottle!"

Georgina turned to look at Pamila, and she giggled beside her. " Cool," Georgina commented.

There were about 8 people in the group when they started the game. After a few spins, Amanda comes to join the group with Noah. She asked the group if they could join the game.

" Sure Amanda." Anna was amused. She is one of Amanda's followers on her YouTube account. Pamila and Georgina didn't say anything.

She looked at Pamila's face, she was giving a poker face reaction looking in her brother's direction, Georgina smiled at Pamila's scowl.

Georgina tries not to look in Noah's direction. After many nights, she can't stop thinking about him. She realizes she likes him, likes him a lot, and seeing him with another girl hurts her feelings.

She wanted to stand up, but she felt Pamila's hand beside her. She didn't look at her and fix her position.

Amanda shouted excitedly. "spin!" Luckily for her, it went in her direction.

Nobody dared to ask but Anna

" Truth or dare Amanda?"

Amanda giggled; her pretty face was hopeful, "dare," she answered."

" I dare you to kiss the guy you like." Anna challenged me.

Amanda turned to Noah and kissed him in the lips. Georgina didn't want to watch, but his eyes were fixed on hers. she couldn't understand her feelings. Her stomach tingled.

Georgina bit her lower lips under her dry mouth. "Ahhh!" she accidentally exclaimed.

All the others' eyes on her,

"What's wrong George?" Michaela asked.

Feeling guilty, " I'm sorry Pamela stepped on my foot," Georgina said.

Pamila looks at her foot on Georgina and hurriedly asks, sorry. She was smiling at her, Georgina had a feeling Pamila purposely stamped her hand.

She looked at Amanda who looked pissed for cutting her moment.
