Chapter 5 A fallen angel is the cure

Sheila's POV

I walked endlessly till it was night. The human world was a world I knew to be cruel, in what ways exactly, I did not really know but that was just the more reason for me to be very careful till I find my prince charming, the reason behind me bring banished to the Earth.

I found a clear river and I smiled gently, sitting beside it. There was no other place where I could stay for the night so I guess I would be passing the night by this river.

I looked around for signs of any human but there was none around so I laid on the ground and stared up into the beautiful sky.

It looked so awesome, looking at it from this place, the brightness of each sky and unique color and sizes was one really amazing thing.

"Sheila, what are you going to do?" I mumbled to myself.

I would better try to either make friends here or find myself a job so I can earn a living. My stomach grumbled and I grumbled along with it.

"How can this happen to me?" I grumbled.

"I am so unfortunate."

Alexis POV

Kim drove the car while mum and I were in the backseat of the car, the both of us were not saying a word to each other.

Going to the witch was something I had been avoiding for so many years and today it seems like it's finally caught up with me.

I stretched my hands on the seat and my hands touched something soft and gentle to my touch. I looked at it and found that it was feathers.

"Where could this have come from?" I mumbled, holding onto it tightly and there was something about it, it seemed like it transfered a wave of energy into my body, I suddenly felt energized and the weakness in my body completely went away.

"You're okay boss?" Kim asked, looking at me through the mirror.

"I am actually feeling more better" I mumbled.

Soon the car parked when mum told Kim to do so.I got out of the car and waved off the thought of the strange feathers I had found in my car but I still held onto the feathers anyways.

"Let's go in" mum said, holding my arm with a victorious grin on her face.

She was definitely happy that she finally got me here. We walked into the home of the shaman and somehow, I began to hope that I would find a solution to this issue of mine here.

I and mum sitted before the weird looking woman who had thick and long dreadlocks on his head. She had her eyes to the floor and paid no attention at our entrance.

It didn't even seem that she noticed us until she spoke up.

"Welcome here, I suppose you are in need of my help" she said and slowly raised his heads up.

"Yes, we are in need of your help, this is my son, he has been falling sick repeated ever since birth" mum replied and I pressed my lips into a thin line as the witch grabbed my hand and drew me to her.

She stared deeply into my eyes and released me back to where I was sitted.

"The solution? Is that what you want?" She asked.

" Of course, that is what I want" I replied.

" You need the blood of a fallen angel" she replied and I almost let out a long hiss.

"And how in the world do you expect me to find a fallen angel in the world? Do you expect me to go into the heavens and make an angel fall?" I questioned quite rudely, now certain that this was all a lie.

"Alex, let's hear her out first" mum said.

" Mum, you really do not believe that, do you? How in the world am I supposed to believe such in this current age? Such things as fallen angels do not exist and even if they do, how am I to get them? Ugh?" I rambled.

I have just had enough of the fallen angel issue today, first it was the silly girl talking about fallen angels at the interview and now this man.... Is this some movie or what?

" Now mum...." I was cut short by the witch who suddenly dug her hands into mine.

"This... This... This is the feathers of a fallen angel" she mumbled.

" Where did you get it from?" She asked and mum gave me the same questioning look the witch was giving me.

"I...I just found it in my car, I do not know how it got into my car" I replied the both of them.

" Find out the source of the feathers, those feathers are the feathers of a fallen angel" the witch chuckled.

"Hand it over to me" she requested and I slowly handed over the feathers to her.

"I would make this into a potion that would last you for only three months of health because sadly you have less than a month to live but with the potion, you would have three months and the potion would help to put you in good health"

"How am I supposed to be sure that this is all true?" I asked him and she opened her wrinkled palm and levitated the feathers in his hands.

"You might have magic but how am I sure about this fallen angel of a thing?"

"It is your decision to believe or not to believe, it is not forced"

"During the three months, you have to find a fallen angel because only her blood as a sacrifice can save you"

"Thank you so much for the words and the help" mum thanked the witch.

"You are welcome"

I watched mum open her purse and remove a bale of money placing it on the table between us and the witch.

"Be here tomorrow to get the potion" the witch said, staring at me intently.

I exchanged glances with mum before we both arose and headed towards the door. I held onto the door knob and was about to turn it when her cracking voice came to me again.

"A fallen angel... In three months"
