Chapter 3 Fallen Angels Fantasies from silly people

Alexis POV

What a silly being. There are a whole lot of girls out there these days, all beauty and no brains.

Just take a look at her porcelain skin and her super beautiful and lengthy hair, she would have done well as one of the most popular model in the modelling industry but then she barely even had brains.

How could she ask me to apologize when it was not even my fault at all?

A whole lot of things have been trying to plunge me into a really bad mood all day. I parked the car in front of the company and stepped out of the car, I adjusted my unit and my tie, picked my briefcase and threw the car to a standby driver.

"Get the car parked"

I walked into the mansion and choruses of "Good morning boss" filled the air.

"Good morning Mr. Alexis"

I ignored the greetings like I have always done and ventured further to the elevator, it was a private elevator, one that I had never allowed any other person to make use of.

I preferred my things being for me and only me, the only persons that was free around me had to be mum and Kim too.

I walked into my office and the manager followed me immediately.

"Good morning boss, the other share holders are all waiting for your arrival to start the meeting" he reported to me.

"Why are you reporting that to me? Where is my personal assistant?" I asked, dropping my briefcase on my table and bringing out the documents that I would be needing.

"Your personal assistant... She resigned already, she said she could no longer work with you, she complained about you being...."

"Get me a new one then or you would have to play two roles in this company" I cut him off and picked up the documents I wanted.

I walked out of my office and he followed suit, we both walked to the meeting hall and I walked straight to my seat in the middle of all other seats.

"Good day, I apologize for being late. Let's start."

I took my seat and dropped the documents onto the table.

The meeting was quite long but I managed to handle everything quite well.

"Thank you for attending ladies and gentlemen" I said with a smile as we wrapped up the meeting.

I walked out of the place and my manager followed suit immediately. I walked into my office and pulled off my suit, placing it gently on the arm of my chair.

"What's next?" I asked, my eyes on the documents in front of me, revising it with full attention.

"The next thing is the interview, yesterday you said you were going to act as one of the interviewers,do you still wish to do so or should I have it struck out?"

"An interview" I mumbled.

"When is it starting?"

"It would be starting in the next five minutes" he replied and I stood up from the chair, pushing it backwards with a swift movement.

"Let's go"

I picked my suit, slipped it on and walked forward with the manager trying to catch up with my pace.

I am someone who walks really fast and I have to do that not because I really do love it but because I want to make the most of the time I have as a healthy human.

"What's the interview about?"

"The interview is to get at least three new script writers for Cool TV shows next year."

"Alright, let's get done with all of this"

I stepped into the place and the interviewers all stood up in respect.

"Good morning Mr. Alex" the three interviewers chorused and I only responded with a nod.

A chair was quickly brought and I settled onto it.

"Continue" I ordered.

"Oh... Alright"

"What uniqueness do you think your scripts have?" I asked a guy randomly.

"It has a very realistic touch to it, there are themes which both male and female find very appealing, there is romance, there is action, a whole lot of suspense and...."

"A very realistic touch to it? What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that it is really easy for the viewers to connect with the script, it is super easy and I think such movies or shows would be able to move the heart of the people and blow away their minds"

"Nice mindset" I mumbled with a small smile.

All morning, there had been nothing satisfying but now I finally have one, this was at least words from a sensible person.

"Thank you sir"

"Get his script and send it to my office, I would do the reviewing of that script myself" I said to the manager.

"Yes Mr. Alex"

"Thank you sir" the guy bowed slightly to me as he handed over his script to my manager.

"Next" one of the interviewers called out and a girl stepped in.

I quickly did something that I usually did, evaluating her over all.

Her hair was packed into two huge buns, a sign that she was childish. I scrunched up my face at that but went further to check her out.

Her eyebrows were thickly drawn making her look more like a masquerade than the beauty queen she was aiming to me, she was wearing a white and pink short flay dress that seemed to have been designed for someone immatured.

Total evaluation.... Immature, childish and unfit to work for my TV.

"Your name?" The other interviewers asked her when I did not say a word to her.

"My name is Camellia" she replied with a wide grin on her face.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked her.

"Because I am always happy"

I rolled my eyes at the response.

"I do not think you are going to be happy when I kick you out of this place" I mumbled underneath my breath.

"Always happy, that's nice. What does your book possess?"

"The scripts I have written have something unique and that is that it spreads happiness into the heart of those who will watch the shows. They turn out to be just as happy as I am"

"I see, how does your script intend to bring this to happen?"

"Through romance and fantasy... No, I would not really call it fantasy because they do exist" she mumbled dreamily and I sighed.

"What type of fantasies?"

"Fantasies...no, not fantasies.... I intend to write scripts on angels most especially, those happy heavenly creatures, fallen angels" she replied and the image of the girl I had almost hit on my way to work appeared in my head. The girl just seemed to strike as an angel.

"You believe they do exist?"

"They do exist, I know they do"

Do I really have to meet with such a fool today?

"Take her script and bring it to my table" I ordered, arising from the chair I was seated on.

The first interview elated me and the second one succeeded in ruining my mood one more time.

How in the world can I have a worker who really believes in the existence of those creatures?

Angels? Fallen angels? Silly fantasies from silly people.
