Chapter 7 The Rumor

Early next morning, Aya woke up early. She immediately prepares herself for school.

When she got into the Campus, she thought of what happened yesterday.

"Yo guys! Did you hear about the news? Hiro already had a girlfriend!" A student said.

"Oh really? Are you sure about that?" Another student doubted.

"Of course, they were seen yesterday! Holding hands, there in the Science Building. I think that's where the girl, Hiro, picks her up!" The student reasoned.

"Huh? What?" Another one asked unconvinced.

It was Aya that noticed that everyone was whispering something as she passed by.

"Shit, I'm dead! Am I the one they're talking about? Tsk!" Aya whispers to herself as she passes by the students whose attention is all on her.

Aya thought of something, so that they wouldn't be able to notice her. She covered her face with her scarf and walked looking down on the ground. Trying to be low-key as possible.

When she entered her room Karen immediately blocked her way.

"Hey sis! I have a new humor for yah!" Karen said in enthusiasm.

"Huh? What is it?" She asked innocently, pretending she didn't know what she was going to say.

"I heard that they Saw Hiro with a girl yesterday. They said that it was Hiro's girlfriend, isn't that interesting. We didn't know Hiro had a girlfriend!" She almost shouted.

Meanwhile, Aya looked at Hiro's direction and they made eye contact. Hiro was already observing her while his headset was on, he smiled at her. She immediately looked away and put his attention on Karen in front of her.

"You mean girlfriend? You might be mistaken, after all it was just a joke right?" Aya reasoned.

"No, I don't! A lot of students saw them! The humor that Hiro has a girlfriend was already widespread. A were crying because of that! Huhu..." She complained, acting as if she was also about to cry.

"Ah, is that so?" Aya said.

"It's so annoying to think that they said his girlfriend wasn't even that pretty! Haist! I might be prettier than that girl!" Karen boasts.

"That's right, you might be more beautiful than her!" Aya smiled.

"I know right, by the way. Let's have lunch together later, okay?" Karen asked.

"Oh, sure!" Aya responded, nodding.

Then Aya walks to her seat just as time when the bell rang that means the class was going to start.

She sat on her seat, and while she was fixing her bag. Hiro slipped a white piece of paper to her desk.

She immediately reads it.

"What are you talking about with Karen?"

She looked at Hiro but she was already looking at the front of the whiteboard. She wrote her answer to the same paper and slipped the paper back on Hiro's desk.

"About the rumor of having a girlfriend!"

Hiro grins at Aya's answer and writes her answer on the paper before slipping it back to Aya.

"Okay! Let's have lunch together!"

Aya was shocked at what Hiro wrote.

"No I can't, Karen invited me to have lunch with her. I'll just bring you food on the rooftop! Okay?"

Aya wrote and gave it to Hiro.

"What?" Hiro said a deep mad voice.

The whole audience heard it, even the teacher looked at Hiro. While Hiro immediately looked at the window. She gripped the paper, crumpling the paper they wrote the messages. He was mad because Aya refused her offer.

Aya was shocked at Hiro's reaction. She didn't mean it, if she knew he was going to be she shouldn't have said it. She even said that she would bring him food but he was still mad, then the thought came to Aya's mind. That Hiro might do something to her again because of this.

Because of this she wasn't able to concentrate in class. She even wanted to write to Hiro again, but he was just looking at the window and since what happened he never looked at her again.

When the Bell rang, Aya prepared herself to have lunch with Karen and Jeff heading to the canteen. Hiro saw it and he looked at her with irritation.

When they got to the Canteen, Aya headed first to get her food.

And while she was waiting for Karen and Jeff at the table, she heard the rumors about Hiro's girlfriend. She couldn't do anything but sigh and looked down on her food.

Just a moment later when everyone suddenly became silent. Aya noticed and she looked up and all of them were looking at the canteen's door. That's why she also looked at the canteen's door. They saw some girls were blushing and she slowly saw who they were looking --- it was Hiro!

She immediately looked down and was nervous when she saw Hiro.

"Shit, Why is he here?" She asked herself, panicking.

Aya's heart can't stop beating, so she purposely fell her tissue so that she'll be able to hide under the table, so that Hiro won't see her. But she didn't know that Hiro already had his eye on her.

"What am I gonna do now?" Aya was holding the tissue.

Hiro got near her table and AYa looked down.

"What are you doing there" Hiro asked him while looking at her under the table.

Because of shock she bumped her head on the table.

"Ouch! It hurts!" Aya ached.

She wasn't able to do anything and slowly sat.

"I picked up the tissue." She reasoned.

Hiro just nods his head and sits next to her. Then slide Aya's tray from her and put it at her front, as it is his food. He started eating it.

Aya was shocked at what Hiro just did. She can't think of anything to say. She just watched Hiro eating her food and all the students in the canteen were looking at them! They were shocked and started whispering.

Meanwhile Karen and Jeff walk toward them while blushing at the sight.

"Hi, Hiro!" The two greeted each other.

Hiro just smiled slightly before continuing eating.

"Aren't you going to eat, or do you want me to still feed you up?" Hiro almost whispered to Aya.

"Huh? No, I'm good. Go, just eat!" Aya pushed her smile.

The two who were in front of them were suspicious at the scene. She whispered to Aya..

"Sis, why is Hiro here?" Karen asked Aya.

"I don't know either, maybe he was just hungry!" Aya answered.

While they were observing Hiro eating, it was just chomping food one after another.

Then Hiro picked Aya's mineral water. Aya was shocked and she was about to grab it back, but...

"Wait, I already drank that! Hmp!" Aya said, but Hiro didn't listen and still drank the water.

The three of them were shocked. They were also shocked at what Hiro did, he just drank at Ata's drinking bottle, even though she was already drunk on it.

After drinking, Hiro whispered to Aya.

"I'll go ahead." He whispered.

Then he decided to stand up and leave.

"Sis, I can't believe that we just had lunch with Hiro!" Jeff shakes her while holding Aya's hand.

"Yeah..." Aya barely said.

"That's insane, so he was a big eater. He almost eats all your food! Sis!" Karen said.

Then that's when he noticed that there was still food left on her plate. Aya just sighs and picks her water and drinks from it.

"Ha!!!" The two of them shouted.

Aya was clueless at the two of them, she can't drink the water in her mouth because of it.

They pointed out the water, meaning it was the bottle the Hiro drinks from. Aya forgot, she already drinks from it.

"Why did you drink it? It's like the two of you had a kiss, an indirect kiss!" Jeff said in jealousy, pouting.

"Oh sorry, I forgot." Aya explained.

But Aya thought of it. So what if she had drinks from it? Hiro and her already kissed a lot of times.

"This, You can have my juice." Karen offered.

"Oh really? Thank you." Aya smiled at her.

She can't tell the two of them that Hiro always kisses her, that's why it was like nothing to her. But she can't tell the two of them that she was Hiro's girlfriend, though she didn't want to hide it from them.

"Sis, I wonder who Hiro's girlfriend is, right?" Jeff asked.

"Hay, All I know is that even though Hiro already had a Girlfriend, he was still my crush." Karen said blushing.

"Me too!" Jeff smiled while holding their hands while blushing.

"Uhm, sis, I have something to tell you. " Aya said.

"What is it?" Jeff asked.

"Guys don't be shocked, okay? And don't tell anyone." Aya whispered.

"Huh? What is that anyway?" Karen asked and they were nervous.

The three of them whispered...

"I don't want to hide anything from you. I was Hiro's girlfriend!" Aya whispered to the two of them.

After hearing this, the two of them looked at each other then started laughing.

"Hahhaha what you?"Hhahahah" Jeff said.

"Sis, you must be hungry! Just eat, here! Ahhaha." Karen said, giving her food.

Aya was clueless at their reaction, why aren't they believing her?

"Wait, I was telling the truth, It was me!" Aya said.

"You know what sis, Maybe you just misinterpreted what Hiro did just now. Like are you okay?" Karen reasoned then tapped her back.

"That's right sis! We'll support you! We all liked Hiro anyway!" Jeff added holding Aya's hand.

"Actually, I will confess too... I was Hiro's wife!" Jeff added.

"Ha?" Aya was clueless.

"No! Not you! I was the legal Wife here!" Karen demanded.

They laugh at their scheme.

It was sunny to watch the two of them laughing. But the two of them didn't believe what she said.

"Let's go, we'll be late for class!" Jeff said.

They all walk together back to the room.

Aya just shakes her head, if the two of them didn't believe, she can't do anything about it.

Atleast, she tried to tell the truth.
