Chapter 10 Our New Maid

The next day, Aya woke up early and she cooked breakfast and prepared it on the dining table.

The other maid was shocked when she saw Aya cooking breakfast. She walked towards Aya and she told her.

"Oh, you woke up early! Let me cook this!" She said offering help, this was supposed to be her job or maybe she wasn't just used to someone who was already doing hers.

"No, it's fine. It was already finished so it's fine." Aya replied and didn't stop on her chores.

"Ah, okay if you say so." She said and decided to focus on other chores in the house.

She fixed the dining table for the breakfast she cooked. Then she took her bath and prepared for school.

After changing her clothes she picked her bag and walked out her room.

She saw Mr. and Mrs. Chan eating breakfast with Hiro. She saw Hiro was staring at her when he stopped eating.

"Good morning Aya!" Mrs. Chan greeted her.

"Good morning Sir! Mam!" Aya greeted them.

"Oh, I've told you right, you shouldn't call me Ma'am didn't I?" Mrs. Chan reminded her

"Oh, I'm sorry Auntie." Aya said.

"By the way, this was my son Hiro. Did you know him already?" Mrs. Chan asked her.

"Yes." Aya said, acting innocent. Not even putting a glance at Hiro.

Knowing that Hiro's parents will know their relationship is the last thing she wanted to happen.

"Okay, eat some breakfast first before you go to school." Mrs. Chan said.

"Oh, no thanks, I was good." Aya refused, she was already embarrassed enough.

"That was not okay, you will go to school with an empty stomach? Seat and eat!" Mr. Chan ordered her.

"Okay, if you say so." Aya obeyed him and sat at the front of Hiro.

The other servants gave her plate and utensils for eating.

"Thank you." Aya told them.

Then slowly she picked some food on the table, while Hiro looked at her.

Hiro noticed that Aya's lips were redder than usual. He remembered the kiss last night. He suddenly smiled remembering it. He can't hide his smile and eventually...

His mother noticed it.

"What is it son? Why are you smiling there?" His mother asked him while also looking at him.

Aya stopped from eating.

"Nothing Mom, I just remembered something!" Hiro said and stopped from smiling.

'This devil! Is he laughing at me again? Hmpp!' Aya thought to herself, humming in anger while eating.

"Okay, Aya, after you eat, you should go to school with Hiro and go home with him too." Mrs. Chan said to Aya.

"Ah, no... you don't have to bother -" Aya wasn't able to finish what she was saying when Hiro talked.

"Okay, Mom!" Hiro said while looking at her smiling.

Aya just shrugged.

After a few minutes has passed Hiro stood up, done from eating.

"Let's go!" Hiro said.

Aya immediately drank her juice and stood up, they had to go to school already. At the back of her mind thinking why should she go to school with him.

"We'll go ahead now, Mom, Dad!" Hiro said her farewell and kissed her Mom on the cheek.

"Okay, take care of both of you!" Mrs. Chan said.

"Thank you! We'll go ahead." Aya said her goodbye.

"Okay. Good bye!" Mr. Chan said.

After that Aya hurried walking because Hiro was already about to ride a black car.

Hiro opened the back door of the car, but he hesitated. He was about to enter but remembering Aya was behind him.

"Get in!" Hiro told Aya when he saw her at his back.

"Okay." Aya entered the car without hesitation and Hiro followed.

When they reached the University, Aya again noticed the girls that were admiring Hiro. That was waiting for him at the front gate.

She thought that they might see them together, what they might think or she might get bullied by these girls. So she thought of not going down.

Hiro first got out of the car. When the students saw Hiro they shouted while blushing because of him. Admiring him.

When he walked out, he was waiting for Aya to get out of the car. But Aya closed the door of the car and she told the driver that she will go out on the other street.

Hiro was shocked when he saw the car move away, leaving. He just shakes his head and grins.

He continued walking towards his class. They will see each other in the classroom anyway.

Meanwhile, Aya got down on the other side of the school. She first looked around if someone was looking before getting down the car. She said her farewell to the driver and gave her thanks.

After that she walks back to the school's entrance.

When she entered their classroom, she saw Hiro sitting on his usual seat while looking outside, in the window.

Aya flinched when he suddenly turned around looking at him and talked.

"Why didn't you walk with me?" Hiro asked.

"Eh? Uhm.. It's because I don't want them seeing us together, there might be another rumor that will pop up. I don't like rumor." Aya said.

"Why? What are they gonna talk about us?" Hiro asked Aya.

"Maybe, they will talk about what we are, why we are together or something?" Aya told him.

"So what? What are you gonna tell them?" Hiro asked her directly but Aya didn't expect it.

Aya gulped, she didn't know what to answer. Hiro might do something.

"Ah, I am going to tell them we are classmates." Aya answered shortly.

Hiro's eyebrows crossed meaning he didn't like what Aya said. After hearing that he was definitely pissed.

"What! I'm just your classmate? So for you... we were just classmates?" Hiro's tone of voice indicated that he was angry.

Aya noticed that, it seemed like Hiro was mad at her answer, so she felt overwhelmed. Nervous at what might happen, thinking of what to answer.

"Ah, of course we are also friends!" Aya said, still hesitating on her answer.

"Oh, I see, you just want us to be friends?" Hiro looked at her with bad intentions.

"Ahhmm..." Aya didn't know what to answer, because she was nervous at Hiro's gaze.

"Okay, fine!" Hiro said and was definitely angry before sitting back on his seat.

After that he picked his headset and listened to music. Then again he looked at the window.

Aya didn't know what to feel right now, she knew that Hiro told her that she was her girlfriend but she was in a different position now.

She was already a maid in their house, a servant. She did not deserve to be his girlfriend. For sure there will be a lot of people that will judge her and laugh at her. Also she wasn't sure if Hiro really liked her, genuinely or he was just playing around with her.

Slowly, Aya sits on her seat properly.

Not long has passed, the class has started.

Hiro ignores her for whole time of the class, not even a glance at her.

Until the class ended. He immediately stood up and walked away not even looking at her.

While she was fixing her stuff, her gay classmate walks toward her.

"Hey, Girl! Let's eat lunch together!" Jeff invited her.

"Ah, yeah sure!" She responded, smiling at him.

While they were eating they talked about Hiro.

"Sis, what is the news about Hiro's girlfriend? Is this true? What do you think?" Jeff asked her.

She suddenly looked at what she heard.

"Huh? I don't know!" Aya said to him.

"Is that so? After the video spread, there was no news again. Maybe they already broke up?" Jeff asked her.

Hearing this, Aya doesn't know how to react. Her mind was still preoccupied at what happened between her and Hiro this morning. She broke up with him, but are they really dating? Or Hiro was just taking advantage of her being vulnerable. In case she and Hiro weren't meant together, mostly right now that she was just their maid.

"I guess so." She said.

After they had finished eating lunch, she then remembered her cellphone. Thinking that Hiro might have texted her, because she forgot to bring him food on the rooftop. She was screwed, if so.

She immediately picked her phone from her bag and she saw that he already texted her a lot of times.

"Oh, I'm dead! What now?!" She whispered to herself, knowing that she was screwed.

She said her farewell to Jeff, saying something urgent came up and she immediately came back to the food counter and bought food.

She was trying to be as fast as she could. She knew she was screwed, this time. Hiro texted her a lot, her heart was beating so fast at the thought of what might Hiro do to her.

She scrolled the texts and she could see that he was already mad, the nervousness even became stronger.

'I have to hurry.'
