Chapter 5 Meet my cat

Aya was a bit late in her class, her classmates were already writing when she came to the classroom. She took a deep breath as she was catching her breath whilst she climbed the stairs before reaching the classroom. Her teacher, who was writing on the whiteboard, looked at her.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, I'm late," she spoke softly to her teacher. She slightly bowed her head, but everyone was busy writing. No one teased her about being late in class.

Aya slowly approached her seat. She saw that Hiro was already there and writing. Hiro and Aya looked at each other, but he immediately looked back and continued scribbling on his notebook.

Aya sat down in her chair and took out her notebook and pen. Then, she also started writing.

When their class was over, Aya immediately put away her belongings, stood up, then started walking out of the room.

As she walked, Hiro suddenly pulled her by the arm and carried her to the corner.

"Where are you going?" Hiro asked.

"Of course, I'll go home!" Aya replied.

"Oh, you're going home? No, you can't go home yet," he pulled her arm and his voice was demanding but modulated.

"Wait, I need to go home, there's an emergency, so I really need to go home now," Aya lied.

"Ah, is that so? Then I'll drop you off!" Hiro said.

"Huh? You don't need to do that. Okay, see you tomorrow," then she quickly ran from him.

"Aya!" Hiro shouted, but he couldn't continue his words because she was nearly out of sight.

"Hmmp!" But then he smirked and then said, "Tomorrow huh, okay hmm, you better prepare".

"Bro!" his friend Tom called him.

Hiro knew it was Tom and he looked at him. Tom approached him, and invited him to go home.

Aya, on the other hand, hurried home and struggled to get on board the bus. She was still distracted, and looked left and right, because Hiro might be chasing her. When she knew he didn't follow her, she uttered a sigh and relaxed her shoulders.

When Aya arrived at their house, she went straight to her room and lay down against her chest on the bed.

She imagined what had happened this afternoon. She still seemed to feel his kisses. Also his touch to her chest, she could still feel the warmth of his hand and she remembered the wetness of his smooches.

"My gosh! What am I going to do to stop this?"

Aya thought carefully of the ways she could pay him. She buried her face on the pillow while having these thoughts.

What if I will borrow money? But the price of the laptop is a huge amount, I can't pay back if someone lends me. Maybe I'll just go to a store and ask to fix his laptop, guess it's cheaper that way.

But, I don't have any money. Wait, I'll try to find a job. Yes, that's right, I'll ask my acquaintances.

Meanwhile, at Hiro's house.

He couldn't sleep, as he lay on his soft bed. He's not exhausted, but he has to be in school the next day. He rolled around on the bed, and he didn't know what side of the bed or how he should sleep.

When he closes his eyes he remembers that scene earlier, he was kissing Aya. He was kissing her passionately, enjoying the sweetness, going farther as cupping and kissing her breasts.

"Tsk! Why doesn't she disappear from my mind?" Hiro uttered, annoyed that he couldn't sleep, while covering his head with a pillow.

The next day, Aya shortly asked her acquaintances what jobs she could apply for, but they didn't suggest anything. So, she still couldn't find any.

When Aya entered the classroom, her other classmates were already there. But she noticed that Hiro was not in his chair yet, so she hurriedly sat down in her seat.

"Hmm, why isn't that Devil here yet?" Aya mumbled to herself.

Soon the bell rang, and some of them returned to their own seats and sat properly. Everyone was already inside, including their teacher, and Hiro had just arrived.

Their eyes met each other and he looked at her with sharp eyes. Aya immediately bowed her head to divert her eyes on the desk.

A short murmur was heard as his classmates wondered why Hiro is late, because he never gets late except for that day.

Hiro stomped his feet as soon as he reached his seat. His eyes pierced through Aya.

She immediately looked at the whiteboard, and started to write on her notebook, so that their eyes would not meet.

"Shit! Why did I even though of her, this stupid girl beside me! I wasn't able to sleep! Tsk!" Hiro mused as he sloppily sat on the chair. His eyes drowsy as he glanced at the window.

In the middle of class, Aya noticed that Hiro was bent over and asleep until the class was over.

She wanted to ask him how much is needed to fix the laptop. With a mush of courage, she approached Hiro.

Aya looked around the classroom, her classmates were gone. She slowly approached Hiro.

"Ah, Hiro. Hiro..." she slowly shook his arm to wake him up.

Hiro opened his eyes and looked at her. At first his vision was blurry, then it became clear. She was suddenly nervous, when she and Hiro stared at each other. His eyes were squinty, and like the sun, his eyes sparkled. He has long eyelashes which makes him more attractive.

Aya took a deep breath before she spoke.

"Uh, I'll just ask how much will it cost to fix your laptop?" She asked, her hands were cold.

"What are you saying?" Hiro raised his head and glanced at her.

"Because maybe it can be still fixed, so–"

"It can't be fixed! I need a new one!" Hiro interrupts her.

"Is that so?" Aya said.

"And why are you asking? Even if you can pay me or replace my laptop, I won't accept it!"

"Huh? Why?" Aya was slightly taken aback with what she heard. She was looking at him in surprise, but he wasn't looking back at her.

"Because we talked about you paying for my laptop that day, and that's over. So whatever else you do to make it up with me, I won't accept it, since we already have a deal, do you understand?"

After saying that, Hiro got up and left.

Aya just sighed, she had no hope of letting go from Hiro. Her mood changed and she was sad, as there was no other solution, even if she could find a job, Hiro would not accept her payment.

After class Aya received a text message.

It said, "Stupid girl, take my bag to the rooftop. Now!"

She was walking down the corridor, when she read it.

"The Devil, hmmp!" She mused.

She immediately returned to their room to pick up his bag that he left.

"Huh, that Devil! Why would he just leave his bag behind?!" She thought to herself.

Her other classmates who were still in the classroom were surprised, they stopped their chit chat and their eyes were on her, because she brought Hiro's bag. Aya just ignored them.

She hurriedly climbed the stairs. When she opened the rooftop door, she saw that no one was there. She sniffed, then texted Hiro.

"Where are you? I'm already here at the rooftop," Aya asked him.

"I'm already here in the Science building, 2nd floor! You're taking so long!" Hiro replied.

"Ah, okay," Aya sent the message.

Then she hurried down again.

Hiro grinned as he waited for Aya. Her friend Tom noticed it.

"Oh dude, I just noticed, you're in such a good mood right now!"

Hiro just grinned at him.

"Your smile is different. Why?" Tom inquired.

"Haha, just, you'll know too! I'm playing with the cat! Hahaha!" It's a happy answer.

"Haha, you'll know it later. I'm playing with the cat! Hahaha!" Hiro was enjoying this.

"Ah really? Haha!" Tom just laughed with him.

Meanwhile, as Aya went down she thought.

"Wait, that's in the other building. Huh, it's still far away from here. He's really annoying!" Aya whined.

Later, Hiro texted her again.

"You're taking a while to get here, can't you go faster? Where are you now?"

When Aya read his message, she was getting more irritated. Because she still needed to walk to the other building, it's not near, and she will go up to the second floor.

Wait, does he know how far that is? I came from the rooftop, from the fourth floor and then he's asking me to go to the other building! Uggghh!

Though with curved brows and pursed lips, she still replied to Hiro.

"Wait a minute Master, I'm still walking, I'm near," Aya replied.

"Hurry up, within two minutes you should be here!" Her phone beeped and it was Hiro. Again.

"Huh, two minutes? Even with five minutes, I can't get there!' Aya replied.

"Just hurry up! If you don't, I'll punish you!" text by Hiro.

Aya didn't reply anymore, she ran and ran! She had to hurry, maybe he would do something to her again if he gets angry.

Breathlessly Aya climbed the stairs. In a hurry, she went too far up the stairs, she was already on the third floor of the building, so she went down again, but because of the hurry, she suddenly stumbled.

"Aaaaahhh..!" Aya shouted, as she fell to the floor.

Hiro saw that and laughed heartily, as Aya fell on the floor.

"Oucchhh!" Aya groaned, while on her knees.

Meanwhile, Hiro thought of sitting on her back, as she lay on the floor.

"Oops! What a stupid girl! Hahaha," Hiro chuckled.

"Arrgh. Get out of there! I'll get up!" Aya growled, as she felt his heaviness sitting in her back.

"Wait, I'm still fixing my shoes," Hiro teased, with a wide smile on his face.

Meanwhile, the students clustered and are watching what happened to Aya.

"Heck, can you just go away? Look, there are many students watching me!" Aya complained.

Hiro noticed that and decided to stand up.

"What are you all looking at?!" Hiro asked arrogantly to the curious students.

They immediately left. Tom approached Hiro.

"Is that the 'cat' you're saying?" Tom asked as his hands were in his pockets.

"Yup! Ha ha," Hiro winked.

On the other hand, Aya slowly got up. She sat down first, because she felt the pain in her knees. She was teary eyed as the screeching pain hindered her to stand up. She had scratches as well in her knees, as well as her right elbow. Hiro saw that her elbow was bleeding.

Tom was supposed to approach Aya, but Hiro stopped him and he approached Aya.

"Hey, idiot! Look at you, you've got wounds," Hiro uttered as he sat across Aya.

Aya snobbed Hiro, as he glanced at her. Hiro took his handkerchief from his pocket and tied it to Aya's bleeding arm.

"Huhh?!"

Aya was surprised by what Hiro did. She didn't expect him to do that. She thought that he cared about her, even though he treats her differently. Hiro slowly assisted her to stand up.
