Chapter 5 NEW MISSION

LANIE'S POINT OF VIEW

I am currently in Uncle Scopio's office seating on his couch while waiting for Faranna.

Uncle Called the both of us but he didn't said any reason.

While slurping my coffee, I cough it and spilled it out from my mouth in shock when Anna entered the office without a knock.

"What the hell Faranna" Uncle Complained.

"So, why did you called your useless daughter? To compare from Lanie who's more useful than me?" She Iconically stated as she entered the office.

"Just stop that" I commented to her.

"Why don't you stop first from getting anything away from me. Then I'll promise, I'll stop" She responded Ironically then she rolled her eyes.

I sighed.

"Shut your mouth Faranna. Take a seat. I have something to tell you" Uncle ordered. Faranna rolled her eyes again and sat beside me.

We waited for a while and it really felt awkward being with Anna.

Finally, Uncle started. "So. Good day beautiful heroes-"

"I'm dying in cringe right now. Crap that sh*t" Faranna interrupted uncle's word Iconically as she is wincing.

I knew, uncle got shamed but he ignored it and proceeded his speech.

"This will be one of your heaviest task specially that killing or injuring anyone is not allowed." Uncle started.

"Just get in to the point and stop acting like a cool here. What do you want me to do? Kill a high ranked criminal but let Lanie get the award?" While uncle Scopio is in the middle of his explanation, Anna interrupted again as her right eyebrow is raising like a villainous person.

"Allow me to finish!!!" Uncle said then he showed an image of the walter Academy from the wide screen. "This is the famous restricted and private school, the walter Academy. We all know that on the previous three years, many students are dying with no single hint about the culprit." Uncle explained.

"Because police officers and investigators are stupid unlike me even though you still consider me as useless" Faranna interrupted again.

"Just shut up and let him finish you disrespectful brat!" I irritatedly said to her.

"Oh-"

"LISTEN!!!" Faranna was about to say something but Uncle's loud voice stopped her. She rolled her eyes on me then payed attention on the screen. I sighed to calm my self.

"Faranna, just please allow me to finish." Uncle begged. "I want you to investigate about it since the opening of school will be next week for another school year. and you guys must be the one to handle it. I don't want anyone to know about this secret mission. " He stated.

"What? What d'ya mean us? Can't I do that alone? And what's our mission? To capture the culprit?" Faranna calcified in iconic way. "And another thing. Why does it have to secret?"

I flinched and look at Lanie. "The school is restricted. No police officers are allowed to investigate that place without the owner's consent" I answered.

"So you're saying that you outsmarted me?" She then asked, obviously vexed.

"you must cooperate with each other. both of uouy must accomplish it together. I've already signed the contract, and I want you guys to do this because you're the only 32 years old women who looks exactly like an highschool girls" Uncle stated.

"Oh come on! I know I'm pretty. HAHAHAHAHA" Anna stated then she laughed.

"Perhaps, we are considered as a teenager because just like other highschool girls, we don't have boobs" I said, caused by the fades of Anna's smile.

"what 'we' are you talking about?" She mockingly asked then stretched her breasts....yeah they are big like my butt.

I looked away when she looked at my breast.

Right now, I can still feel her mocking eyes on my breast.

"As what Lanie told, the school is not allowed to be investigated without the owner's consent. Sometime, the owner won't just allow anyone to investigate us. We have suspected that the owner itself is the one who kills, but we don't have an enough evidence, so we can't just arrest and sue them. Besides, it is not really confirmed if it's the school or someone else is to blame here. " Then uncle explained.

"Idiotic thing! Why won't the student just draft out? Isn't all of them there came from a rich family?" Farann asked.

"You make a good sense in that questions. Unfortunately, it is the students who chose to stay." I answered.

She then looked at me. "Why do you act like you know everything?!" She then asked. "And don't you ever dare to answer a question that isn't asked for you!!" She added irritatedly.

"stop it girls!" Uncle said. "Amity will provide your clothes cause she is a fine designer. The uniforms and your new Identity as a high school girls are all ready. All you have to is pack your things and move in on that dormitory school. Alright? You will have 1 year to accomplish this mission. The consequences will be your lives" Uncle seriously stated and turned of the wide screen.

"Woah, you are really doing that? Pairing me with the person I hated the most in that heavy task mission? I may choose to kill Lanie than accomplishing the mission" Anna complaint.

"Oh, scary" I ironically commented.

"You guys may wanna get out of my office and kill eachother outside." Uncle said to us.

Faranna stood up first and got out. I shrugged my shoulders and left the office of uncle too.

Right after I got out of his office, the people gathering on the huge screen of the station caught my attention.

I decided to approach them. "Hey, what's with that?" I asked to Lieutenant Enriquez. Why is he here, doesn't he have a mission?

"Oh, I didn't noticed you're here, Agent Lanie. It's just the news on the TV about the assassination of mr. Regrodo, the founder of Nymphets company just last night. That famous cold blue is indeed a mysterious guy. He jumped out from that rooftop of 15th floor building and slashed Mr. Regrodo's head for just one second. There is no a single hint about the assassin." Lt. Enriquez stated to me.

Cold blue? The famous and unknown assassin that my brother has been investigating about?

Interesting.

"Are you guys investigating about cold blue?" Suddenly, Anna asked.

"Almost everyone does, they are justifying the death of the beauty creator." He answered.

"What beauty creator are you talking about? You think being the reason of animal's death is a beauty? That's a real cruelty. I think, he deserve such thing like that. The assassin is too kind for killing that sh*t ass that easily. If only cold blue tortured him before killing him, that'll be an extreme satisfaction." With full of Hatred, Anna stated. "Oh and another thing, Do you even know that Mr. Regrodo use an animal organs to make a beauty products? Psh! People are blinded by that beauty thing they says. There will be no justice for mr. Regrodo's assassination cause his death is a justice for his victims. DESERVE!" She added then fled as someone called on her phone.

"Bruh, what's with her?" puzzled, I asked.

"Nah, she just really hated criminals. If only she is an assassin, I think she could kill easily without any hesitation" Enriquez responded to me.

I just shrugged my shoulders and watched the TV again. It's just pretty incredible how the cold blue assassin killed Mr. Regrodo and grabbed his head without anyone realizing it.

But whatever his reason for assassinating mr. Regrodo, killing is still killing. That's still crime.

After it, I decided to go home for my lunch but while I am driving my motorcycle, I passed by a girl on a street being hostage.

I grabbed my PS1 pocket shot gun and shoot the guy who's holding a dangerous thing while taking the girl as his hostage.

I shoot him on the leg and he recoiled because of that.

Then the police around who can't approach because of the hostage instantly captured the guy and saved the girl.

I didn't waited for their words, I just drove because I'm so hungry right now.
