Chapter Four

So are you in or not" Mohini asked

"What the fuck are you saying,. You can't just expect me to believe all that you said. How can you be a fairy, that is on a mission, for damn sake are you really Mohini" Jenny spurted

"Jenny, I think you should calm down" Jeremy whispered

"I won't calm down, can't you hear her. She wants us to go to Pa's farm and kill a certain chicken,. Why?"

"Let's just hear her out first, she might have a reason" Jeremy cooed as Mohini watch the siblings argue with each other

"Mohini, why do you want us to kill Pa's chicken" Jeremy asked

"Like I said earlier, I am here on a mission to kill someone who offended my queen. Long time ago in the kingdom of Avalon, where I hail from; there was a war among the fairies.

A certain group of fairies formed a league, the aim of taking over the kingdom. This caused a lot of death, due to the bloodsheds and massacre involved in it.

The queen as at then was not ready to leave the throne; she fought hard with all her strength and defeated the group with their leader, Chilion, also known as Black Bender

"The queen killed all his followers and banished him out of the land, but not after series of punishment. Ever since then, peace reigned in Avalon; but it didn't last for long" She muttered and watch their expression.

They both look calm, waiting for her to continue her story,

"So what happened" Jeremy asked with popped eyes

"After some years, Black Bender came back and caused more havoc. He killed countless fairies and bunt lots of houses.

The queen was devastated, she sent some fairy soldiers after him, with the aim of killing him once and for all, to avoid more death" she breathed out

"But I thought fairies don't die, gosh you guys are immortals" jenny growl

"We do, we have weaknesses. But it takes a strong magic or substance to kill us, we don't die easily" Mohini replied

"But Black Bender killed a lot, how did he mange to do that" jenny asked

"Come on jenny, stop interrupting, I haven't heard a fairytale in a long time, let her continue" Jeremy whined

"Shut up idiot, it's not a story, she is talking about reality"

"I don't care, I'm enjoying it, so shut up!!!' He yelled, glaring hard at her

"Can you continue Mohini, let's hear the end of it" Mohini sighed

"Black Bender is a very powerful fairy, that's why the queen couldn't kill him at first. But she later found his weakness and tried using it on him, because of the powerful magic he has. But it was too late, while on the run, Black Bender ran into a human farm, where Live stocks are reared.

He performed a hideous spell and casted out his spirit into one of the chicken and laid lifeless on the ground.

They thought he killed himself, but they were wrong. The queen gave a command for his heart to be taken out of his body, and surprisingly it was still beating.

"Ohh!!!" Jeremy gasp

"It became dawn on them that Black Bender was not dead, he only casted out his spirit.

His heart couldn't get destroyed by the queen, so she locked it in a wooden box and hid it in an underground spiritual world. She offered herself as a sacrifice to the keeper of the underground world in order for the box to be kept there without anyone from tampering with it.

She believes that with the heart of Black Bender, locked in a box, he would be forever stuck in whatever object or animal that possesses his spirit"

"Fine!! That's it, Black Bender is stuck and cannot continue with his evil, so why do you still need us" Jenny brawled

"He is no longer stuck; the spell casted on the locked box is only to work for a centurion. The queen made her people promise her that they will look for the animal possessing his spirit and kill it before the time runs out.

But they couldn't find it, now the spell is broken, if he I not killed, we might not be able to stop him. And this time, he won't just hurt the fairies, he will hurt humans too.

"Oh my God!!! So what are we gonna do" Jeremy gasp

"But a chicken can't live or a hundred years" Jenny muttered

"An ordinary chicken can't, but that with a possess spirit will" Mohini resorted, as she takes a seat opposite them

"Why can't you just destroy the heart in the underground world; that might be easier" Jeremy said

"Hmmm, no it won't be easy and the keeper of the world will ask for a sacrifice. Remember the night you saw me outside with my hands stained with blood?" she asked, glancing at Jeremy

"Yes....yes I thought it was a dream, but it was actually true...but why was your hand covered woth blood" he asked

"I killed two chickens from your Pa's farm, I mistook them to be that which possess Black Bender, but I was wrong. I was about going back again when you came out. It won't be possible for me to go there again because some security men might have noticed the death of those chickens by now, and the security would be so tight.

They might assume me to be a thief and I won't be able to fulfill my mission" She pouted, having a sad expression on her face.

"So this is the plan, you will go to your Pa's farm now, take out the chicken that possess Black Bender and kill it" Mohini stated

"So Black Bender ghost will die with the chicken?" Jeremy asked

"Yea, that's right"

"But how did you know that Black Bender is among my Pa's Livestock, what's your proof" Jenny inquired, wriggling her nose, as she inhales the smell from the coffee placed on a side stool. Her stomach rumbles, as she stares at it

"Some days ago, some chickens where sold to your Pa's farm and were delivered the day you arrived. Black Bender is among them, we fairies have a way of sensing our kind"

"So how are we gonna know the Black Bender chicken" Jeremy groan

"it is the only chicken with a red feet"

"Hunh, a chicken with a red feet, weird" Jenny mumbled shaking her head

"How are we gonna find our way back to the farm, they will be looking for us by now" she said

"You both are still in the car, only your minds are here" Mohini stated, handling them each a cup of coffee as they sip from it

"Argh, wait, are you saying that we are still on the way to the farm and are also here at the same time? But...but how?" Jenny asked with arched brows

"Magic!!! Anyway, I am not in the car with you both, in fact I do not exist in your lives. So don't speak about me to anyone. Everything that happened starting from when the car knocked me down are all illusions, it's not real.

So just keep shut and do what I ask you to do......goodbye kids" She smiled and suddenly a blazing light engulf around them as they vanished into space.
