Chapter 6 First day at work

ALEXA'S POV

A young lady in a maid uniform opened the door after pressing the doorbell for sometime.

Well here I am, my first day working as a maid, and damn! It's a huge mansion, I mean it's fucking huge, and it's a glass house, I can bet it this house worth billions, if not trillions of dollars, how can someone be this rich, I ca.....

"Will you come in now?" The lady asked, I nod my head quickly and I entered.

"Oh..my..God" I didn't even know how that escaped my lip and I slammed my mouth shut. Someone should please wake me up, is this a fucking paradise, I don't even know how to describe this place, it's just too.......... a ding sound cut me off, I looked at the left side where the sound came from, and there was a fucking elevator, my mouth dropped immediately, can someone please tell me I'm dreaming! Suddenly maids that are up to...ten went in front of the elevator and bowed our boss Nicklaus stepped out immediately, he waved and they all dispersed.

He walked in fully, he was about to walk past me before he stopped, he waited for some moments before he speaks up.

"Do you not know how to greet?" His deep but calm voice asked.

"Good morning" I muttered lowly.

"Did you not see the way others greeted me?" He asked, but this time around he sounds angry.

"I don't understand, how should I greet you?" I asked confused.

"Audrey" he called gently and the lady who opened the door for me rushed to us.

"Yes master" she said as she bowed.

"Can you show her how to greet me whenever she sees me?" he said and the lady nodded.

"Good morning master" she said bowing and I didn't know when I scoffed.

"Really? (I looked at them amused) You want me to greet you this way" I said sarcastically before bursting into laughter.

"You don't wanna lose your job" he said seriously, anger evident in his voice..wait, is he really serious?

"Are you serious?" I asked, hoping he's joking. "I won't repeat myself" he said in a very deep voice.

I looked down playing with my fingers, I was muttering things I don't even know to myself.

"Now!" I looked up at him and I can see he's loosing his cool.

"Good morning master" I said before bowing reluctantly.

NICKLAUS'S POV

"Good morning master" she said and bowed reluctantly I smirked and a satisfactory smile find it's way to my lip, I waved her off.

"Go to my room, enter the accessories room and bring Italian wristwatch" she looked at me with an unreadable expression.

"I want you to bring it here in two minutes, and take the stairs not the elevator, the elevator is not for people like you" I smirked.

"But I.." she tried talking but I cut her off.

"Find it yourself, and I like people who keep to time" I said and she quickly rushed to the stairs.

"Your food is ready sir" Audrey, the closest maid to me said.

"Thanks Audrey, but from now on, make sure Alexa is in charge of food and anything related to me" I told her as we both walked to the dining room. I got to the dining, and as expected, a feast has been made already.

I signaled Audrey to pass me French fries, and she did so immediately.

I was still munching on the fries when Alexa came in breathing heavily and I smirked.

"You forgot to give me the keys to your room sir" she said, trying to catch her breath. "What are you saying?, you mean you couldn't get the wristwatch?" I asked furiously.

"S..sorry sir, you forgot to give me the key" she said and I felt her voice shiver, yeah! We're doing good, I need her to fear and respect me.

I stretched the card she'll use to open the door forward to her, and she collected it.

"That's the card you'll need to open the door" I said and she nodded her head.

"Now, in two minutes" she quickly dashed out.

ALEXA'S POV

Damn this guy! I hate him so much. Phew!, I was finally able to open the door, and damn! This guy is too rich, entering this room is the greatest achievement I've ever had in my life. Everything looks so manly, but damn!, his bed has a golden color, it's looks mighty and gigantic, he even has a living room in a bedroom? Money is fucking good!.

Oops he gave me just two minutes, I saw three doors at the left side of the room, I guess one of the room is his accessory room.

I went to the first door and opened it (with the card of course) but damn! This is a fucking mall, I can't even find any shoe, it's all cloths, maybe it's not here.

I opened the second door and I knew instantly that I was going to get what he needed here. This place is full of chains, rings, belts and a lot more. I found a leather wristwatch on a mannequin, I went ahead and loosen, I made my way downstairs. I'm definitely coming into this room to explore it after he's left for work.

Getting back to the dining room, I stretched his wristwatch to him.

"This is it sir" I said, hoping and praying it's the one "I thought you passed through school, or it was school that passed through you?" He asked, more like humiliating me, and I rolled my eyes.

"Did you even know how much of my time you've wasted?" He barked angrily. Someone should just tell this guy to chill, after all he's not done eating.

"Well, I don't need it anymore, take it back to where you got it from" he said and focused on his food.

"Seriously?" I scoffed out loudly. "You asked me to go bring your wristwatch, just to take it back upstairs, like who the fuck does th..." "I do! (He roared) I, Nicklaus Knight does, now take it back upstairs" I scoffed loudly before stomping upstairs.

Really?, this guy must be really out of his mind, and I'm definitely gonna deal with him. I went to his room and dropped the wristwatch back to its place, I rushed back downstairs.

"Oh, you're back?" He asked and I nodded, glaring hard at him.

"Now let's go to work" he said and I feel my head explode.

"You're kidding right?" I asked, laughing hard.

"The more I repeat myself, the more you'll have to beg for your salary" he barked and I calmed down a bit.

"But dude, I was supposed to be your maid, not personal assistant" "Personal maid you mean" He said and I scoffed.

"You're my personal maid, so you go everywhere I go" he said with finality in his tone.

"Okay..okay, but I need to change my dress first"

"You don't need to do that, you ain't going there to seduce my workers" he said, and I looked at him like he's gone crazy. Really dude? I can't believe this idiot.
