Chapter 6 Heat

"So you need to sing as a test" said the short hair girl who was a member of school band.

She got up on the stage "Hello I am Althea, I am going to sing "Call me maybe by Carly Japsen"" she said smiling. She took deep breathe.

The music starts.

I threw a wish in the well, don't ask me, I'll never tell

Her voice was surrounding in the school hall. Jacob was sitting with Gena outside of the audition room; he smiled.

"Who is she? I mean her voice so beautiful" said Gena.

"That's my cousin Althea" he said smiling.

"So music runs in the family?" she said while looking at him flirty. Jacob was also singer and he was here to give audition.

"Many more things runs in the family if you wanna see on the bed" he said while getting closer to her.

Tyler was passing by with Julia when he heard her. It was first time she was singing publically. He really liked that voice but he was unsure who was singing.

"This voice its beautiful" he said in a whisper. He stopped by for a while but Julia was insisting him to leave with her.

"Come on what happening to him today, that bitch made my day miserable and now this some random bitch" Julia thought angrily.

"Tyler lets go we have to do some fun, why are you listening this mess" she said annoyed. He turned and walked away. Jacob was looking at them he rolled his eyes.

"Who are they?' asked Gena.

"It's my Idiotic cousin Tyler with his stupid dumb girlfriend" he said annoyed.

"She is his girlfriend? Why on the planet a good looking man like him dating that shit" she said annoyed.

"Good looking man?" he said in a huskier voice.

"Amm someone is jealous" she said mischievously.

Her song was over and she came out, Jacob was sitting on couch too.

He got up and clapped "Well partner that was amazing" he said smiling.

"Hey Jacob you are here for audition?" she asked happily.

"Yeah I am but there is a problem" he said.

"What happened?" she asked worried.

"As you know the song I have written is not solo so I will need female lead to sing along, and my girlfriend Gena cannot sing so I need a singer and here you go, you sing so well" he said smiling.

She greeted Gena. "I? But you are too good singer, how would I stand by you?" she said awkward.

"I trust you, your voice was so much beautiful when you were singing, even a passerby with his airhead girlfriend stopped by to listen" said Gena smiling. Jacob had mischievous expressions over his face.

"Tyler? am I right?" she asked.

"Yeah he was here with Julia" he said smiling.

"Can we go somewhere quit?" she asked.

"Yeah but first tell me you would be my partner?" he asked smiling.

"Okay fine I would be your partner" she said exhausted. They walked slowly out of the school.

"What is it? You want to tell me?" asked Jacob.

"Tell him only your incident with Tyler not about heat now because Gena is here" said Lilly.

"I saw Tyler making out with Julia this morning in library" she said awkward.

"What?" said Jacob shocked and later the both Jacob and Gena laughed uncontrollable.

"You saw them making out I mean this would be last thing I want to see" said Jacob.

"And I made them noticed me" she said embarrassed.

"You got to be kidding me" he said laughing.

"Yeah laugh now" she said annoyed.

She was standing outside of the school it was raining; Jacob had gone to drop Gena to her car. She was waiting for him when she felt a very sharp pain in her body. Tyler was passing by to his car. The pain had made her blind; her whole body was on heat. Jacob was coming towards her when he saw her like that, even Tyler had noticed her, and she turned to Jacob.

"Jacob!" she called his name and collapsed in his arms.

"Althea?" called out Jacob but she was faint.

Tyler who was standing twenty feats away was watching it all. He mind link Jacob.

"Take her home, it's raining already" and sits inside his car and left.

"I am taking her home" he said in mind link. He could feel her body was so much hot. He lifted her up and took her in Gena's apartment.

She opened the door "What happened to Althea is she okay?" she asked worried.

"I don't know Gena, she collapsed" he said worried. He placed her on the sofa.

"Let me check her" she said.

"But you are not a doctor how?" he asked.

"My parents are pack doctors, I can check her" she checked her veins. After fifteen minutes, she got up and smiled mischievously.

"Have she found her mate?" she asked.

"No she did not" he replied, She smile even more.

"What happened?" he asked curious.

"Your cousin is in heat Jacob" she said while looking inside his eyes. Jacob was staring her like he heard Althea is pregnant "Amm well... heat, I mean great" he said awkwardly.

"Sometimes happens, her wolf wants to get laid with her mate, so that's why she is feeling heat, it happens to female wolves for week and after that they stop feeling heat until next month" she said smiling.

Althea got up from the sofa "What happened? I I got collapsed" she said.

"Where I am?" she asked.

"You are at my place" said Gena.

"Jacob I am sorry I was so much in pain that I fell" she said embarrassed.

"No its okay Althea" he said awkwardly.

"She is in heat, this is embarrassing how would I tell her this, I am felling awkward" he thought.

"Don't worry Jacob I will tell her" said Gena. He left the room.

"Where he gone?" she asked worried.

"He will be here after a while" said Gena. There was awkward silence in the room.

"Okay Althea since when you are feeling heat and pain?" she asked.

"How you know about this" asked Althea shocked.

"My parents are pack doctors, they taught me a lot about it and even I want to become a doctor too, I checked up on your nerves and that concludes you are on heat, since when you are feeling it?" she asked politely. Althea felt embarrassed, she told her everything.

"So you are feelfeeling it since a week?" she asked her. She nodded.

"Okay do you know what it is?" she said.

"No!" Althea said while looking away.

"Your wolf wants to make love with her mate, it's a monthly cycle happens to every werewolf, when they find their mates, have you find yours?" she asked smiling.

"No I did not, and I am sure my mate is not from this pack and if he is then he will reject me for sure" she said sadly.

"Hey don't think like that moon goddess does not does not makes bad decision, if she give you these eyes, then she had reasons" she said smiling,

"Your eyes are unique and you will these eyes and beauty" she said winking at her. Jacob came in after a while.

"So you did tell her" he said awkwardly, she nodded.

"Althea! You okay?" he asked her awkward.

"Oh come on Jacob you are reacting like you never had an adult talk I mean you guys are best friends" said Gena.

"We did, but my friend is on heat" he said.

"Every werewolf woman does, even I will too if I will find my mate, but this is strange, she had not shift yet as you told me, and she is not 18 how can it be?" she said while sigh. Jacob coughed.

"Maybe it's because of her eyes you know she different" he said smiling. She was still in thoughts. Jacob gave Althea sigh. His Phone ringed, she picked up and got out of the room. After 5 minutes he came back, his expressions were surprisingly happy.

"What happened?" asked Althea.

"Guess what? I am selected for the school's upcoming show where I have to sing" he said happily.

"Wow that's a good news" said Gena clapping she walked towards him and kissed him over his cheek.

"Now I have my female vocal lead too and that's you" he said while pointing at Althea. She smiled.

It was raining outside, Viviana was at their place today, and she was playing with Collin. They were playing princess and price.

"Althea look I am the princess" called out Viviana. She put her book down and smiled.

"You guys remind me of Jacob and me" she said smiling.

"Really Jacob and you used to play?" asked Collin.

"Yeah we were best friends since childhood" she said.

"So he would be your mate too?" said Viviana.

"No he is very good friend of mine, I never felt something like that for him" she said while smiling widely. Then she heard a mind link.

"Althea Viviana is at your place?" said Luna.

"Yeah she is" she responded.

"Can you bring her home, I would have come but we had urgent meeting with fellow pack" said Luna.

"Yeah sure I will bring her when the rain stops" she did response.

"Your mum wants you at home princess" she said to Viviana.

"Okay Collin I will see you tomorrow at school my prince" she said and kissed Collin over his cheeks, he turned bright red. Althea was shocked and then she laughed.

After 20 minutes the rain stopped. "Okay Collin I am going to drop Vivi at home, I will be back soon, mommy is on pack meeting with dad and Alpha, so you better be at home" she said to Collin. He nodded and she left.

She drives Viviana at pack house in her new car Jack gifted her.

"Here Princess we are home" she said and got out of the car.

"Don't you want to come in?" she asked innocently.

"Sweetie Jacob might be not home, what I will do ?" she said smiling,

"Only Jacob is your friend? Not me?" she said innocently. Althea laughed and said.

"Okay I am coming" they both walked inside the big mansion. Viviana took her inside her room; the room was so much pink.

"You like pink?" she asked.

"Yeah I do I am a princess" she said happily.

"What you like?" she asked.

"I like purple" she said. "Wow that's close to pink" she said smiling.

"Okay its getting late honey, its already 9 O clock, I have to go home" she said. Viviana came closer to her and asked her to kneel. She kneeled. Viviana kissed her over cheek.

"You are most pretty girl in the pack, especially those eyes of yours, they are just jealous" she said softly, Althea smiled and slowly hugged her.

"Thanks princess" she said softly, there were tears in her eyes. Everyone had always mistreated her, but there are few people who loved her and those people were her real family. She smiled at her and said "Sleep well" and she left the room.

She walks slowly trying to find the way out. She never had walked around the pack house, she only had saw Jacob's room and the Regina's room.

"Shitty place this is too much huge" she thought annoyed.

"I think I should call Jacob to tell me" she dialed his number.

He was kissing her deeply, as much as deep he goes she moans "You are my real wolf" she whispered.

She moved her finger around his hair. He pulled her hair. They were so much in pleasure; she could feel every inch of his skin. She kissed him over his cheek. His phone was ringing, He tried to grab it but it felt of the bed. She hugged him and he had gone lost in her again.

"I wish you would be my mate, I am so in love with you" Gena said in a whisper.

"I love you too Gena, since the day I saw you" he said while taking breath heavily. She kissed him deeply and the both lost in each other. The phone was still ringing.

"Damn Jacob!" Althea said. She started looking for the way of her own. She decided to mind link Luna, but as for pack law she was unable to sent mind link, as she was consider a rogue, she could only mind link those she was close to.

She tried to contact with Jacob with mind link, but it looks like he had blocked everyone. She rolled her eyes. She walked towards the nearby room and knocked it "Maybe this room, I can ask someone to tell me the way out" she thought.

She knocked the room, but there was no respond. She pulled it, it was opened.

"Hello! Anyone in there?" she called out. But there was no respond. Someone was taking shower in the bathroom. She walked ahead and called out "Hello!".

She looked ahead and the horror was hanging on the wall laughing at her arrogantly.

"I am in his room" she thought panicked. She turned to leave but the door behind her was closed, It had an automatic lock that could only be open by the key. She felt her feet numb.

"He will eat me up alive, if he saw me here, what can I do Jacob where are you always when I am in trouble" she thought annoyed.

She was trying hard to open the door; she took her hair pin and tried to open the door. But the door was not opening she got up and whispered.

"Why on the planet this jerk had to put an automatic lock on the door" she whispered.

But suddenly she felt a very cold stare over her back. She turned and she got startled. He was staring at her with very dangerous expressions. She felt her legs numb, she always feel venerable in front of him.

He was standing arm crossed; there were water drops over his chest. He was wrapped a towel around his waist. His dark black hairs were messing over his forehead. He was staring at her with anger.

"I I had gone lost and end up...." She muttered something. He walked ahead closer to her looking inside her eyes. She felt her heart pounding. He was too much closer like she could feel his breath over her face, it remind her of the night in the woods, she was drawn to him, but she kneknew its wrong.

He was so much close like he was about to kiss her, she closed her eyes, but then she heart a clicking sound, the door opened.

"Leave!" he said expression less, she felt relieve and ran out of his room. He smiled and after a second the smile fades away.
