Chapter 4 The Shift

He was standing outside since fifteen minutes.

"Where are you, I am waiting outside" he mind linked her.

"Just coming Colin is still awake I don't want him to ask question" she replied in mind link. She came outside after a while.

"Here! Let's go" she gave him the pairs of clothes" he took surprised.

"So that's why you did not want me to bring my clothes today?" he said smiling.

"Yeah because I have bought you a gift" she said while walking ahead. They were walking towards the wood. They saw a wolf, it was huge white wolf.

"Tyler?" said Jacob.

"What he is doing here this late?" asked Althea.

"Axel??" Jacob called him aloud. Axel was Tyler's wolf's name.

He turned towards them and turned in his human form. He was not wearing anything. He walked towards them. Althea looked away. He had muscular body, with six packs, strong broad shoulders, due to shifting his body was sweaty. He walked slowly with stone expressions; his deep blue eyes were on Jacob. He was completing ignoring her, it has been years they have talked, and he had stopped talking to her since his teen. He stopped few steps away from her. She can sense his scent and the perfume.

"What happened why you are here? Have not you gone to the party?" Jacob asked him.

"I am going to the party, I had a force shift" he said, he looked so much exhausted.

"What happened are you tensed?" he asked him concern.

"No I am not tense" he said while putting pressure on the word tense and looking at Althea with stone expressions.

"Here take these clothes, you might catch cold" Jacob said while giving him clothes. Althea gave him a sigh.

"What are you doing, It's my gift for you" she said through mind link.

"He needs the clothes more, we will arrange it later" he said through mind link. Tyler took the clothes and wore them, now she was able to look at him.

"What are you doing here at this time?" he asked to Jacob, but Jacob had felt strange tone of his.

"Nothing I and Althea were going to café, I bring clothes so that if I shift I would have clothes" Jacob said smiling.

"Shifting with her? Did she know what shifting is? She never shifts in her life and she claimed she talks to her wolf?" he said with rude expressions. She remained quiet; it was first time in years he talked to her.

"Tyler I have told you stop being rude to my friend, please!" he said while raising his one hand.

"Friend?" he said while looking at her from up to down, she felt a bit awkward.

"If you are thinking to bully her Tyler don't" said Jacob with an anger.

Tyler looked at him and smirked. He turned and gone lost in the darkness. Jacob looked at Althea who was staring in the darkness.

"What he wants?" she said annoyed.

"Let it be, lets go its full moon already" he said in rush and they went to the woods.

"Are you sure no one is around?" she asked.

"Yeah I am sure because daddy is looking for pack members, if he saw anyone come here, he will mind link us" he said smiling.

"You ready?" he asked.

She took a deep breath and nodded. He shifted first, His wolf was white but it shows brown shades.

"Hello Flint! Nice to see you" she said to his wolf smiling. Flint was his wolf's name. He growl slowly in return.

"Okay my turn" she said and shifted In her wolf. Her wolf was huge, nearly size of the Alpha. Her wolf was Grey and powerful.

"Hello Lilly" said Flint through mind link. They both walked in the woods and ran towards the waterfall. Lilly dig her paw inside the soil to feel the mud beneath her. She wanted to shift freely and move freely but she was unable to do it as she was Canis Lupus.

"Sometimes I wonder Flint why don't show myself to all them, they are scared of my power but I don't want to hurt anyone" she said sadly.

"Don't worry Lilly one day you will shift freely" he said.

"I don't know when Flint as I can't even howl" she said. Flint could feel his wolf sad.

"Hey don't be sad we are friends since kids, don't we? But you communicated with your human a year earlier before me" flint said trying to cheer her up.

"Daddy I am ready to go college for royals" she said while crossing her arms.

"You sure honey? If you don't want to you should not go" said Jack.

"No I am fine and Jacob is going too so I will manage those bullies" she said smiling. He smiled in return.

"My brave pup" he said.

"Daddy look! What Viviana brought me" said Collin; he was holding a big stuff toy. Viviana was with them. She had a lots looks of Tyler, but her hairs were different, they were light brown instead of black.

"Wow its beautiful muffin" he said while smiling.

"Uncle Jack! Collin said he will take me to woods near the waterfall this Sunday" she said innocently.

"Going to waterfall would be dangerous for you both, you can't go their alone" said Jack softly.

"But Daddy I want a picnic with Vivi" he said sadly.

Althea smiled "I will take you both" she said happily.

"That would be good, but you better take an eyes over them anything suspicious just mind link me, you know your mother and I had saved you from the rogue there, it's dangerous there" he said while folding his arms.

"I know daddy don't worry, that would be best day for us three" she said happily.

"Three? Aren't Jacob is coming with you?" he asked.

"Naa Daddy he is gone to his grandma, he said he wanted to grab something" she said smiling.

"Jacob and Althea are mates daddy?" said Collin mischievously.

Althea turned bright red "No its not like that we are just friends" she said blushing.

"And hey why you both are talking like you are 18?" she said while crossing her arms with fake angry expressions.

"Because we are mates" he said confidently. Jack laughed very hard.

"My dear son its does not work like that" he said while patting over his shoulder.

"But daddy we are best friends" he said innocently.

"It does not matter let me explain you" he said while sitting on nearby sofa.

"When we are about to born moon goddess makes two wolf from the same light created by moon and send them in two human bodies, when they get older like 18 they find their other wolf that was made up of same light in another human and they live together forever as they were bonded to live together by moon goddess" he said softly.

"So we both going to find when we are 18 that we are mates?" asked Collin and Jack nodded.

"Oh moon Goddess from the bottom of my heart I want Vivi to be my mate" he said while looking up. Jack laughed while Althea smiled and Viviana was blushing.

"I think my mom's calling me, I am going" Viviana said and ran out of the house.

"Hey Vivi" called out Collin.

Two weeks were left for college starting day; Jacob still did not come back. The full moon was appearing. She was afraid if she would have force shift. She called Jacob.

"Hello Jacob! Where are you? I am about to shift its full moon" she afraid.

"Althea I wanted to come but, Grandma is not well and so does grandpa. Tyler will also arrive here tonight, why you don't take Uncle Jack?" he said worried.

"Daddy is in Pack house as Alpha had left for your Grandma's place" she said sadly.

"Okay try to hold your wolf as I told you. I will try my best to be there for tomorrow" he said worried.

"Okay I will wait for you Jacob" she said sadly and hung up the phone.

It was middle of night when she felt her heart beat so much fast, her heart was racing fast and she was all sweating, she got up out of her bed.

"No lilly we can't shift please hold on, they will know who we are lilly calm down" she was calming her wolf.

When she felt an urge to go outside. It was full moon.

"Okay I will go outside but you will not force to shift" she said to her wolf.

She grabbed her jacket to cover herself up and went out of the house through her room window as she does not wanted her parents to know. She walked slowly towards the woods. The moon was bright and youthful. She sits beside the tree and looked up.

"Oh moon goddess why you made me different? Why you made my wolf so different that it cannot shift freely" she said in a whisper. She was staring at the moon when she heard rustle from the bushes.

She got up and called out "Who is it?" she asked angrily. It was dark behind the bushes.

"I asked who is it?" she asked angrily.

She tried hard to look. Then a very huge wolf came out of it, she never saw this wolf in pack, because none of them were black, but this wolf was black.

She retreated few step "Oh no if he hurts me my wolf will turn" she thought.

The wolf was growling and taking steps towards her. It was rogue wolf.

"Stay away rogue" she said angrily but she was afraid from inside.

"Canis Lupus? I was unable to kill you that day, my pack member killed by white wolves when they tried save you, but today I finally find you and I will kill you" The wolf said, somehow she was able to understand him, wolf does not understand other when they are in wolf form until they shift or they are from the pack.

"He knows me, I am too dead today" she thought. She took step backward when a stone came in her way, she fell on the ground hardly, and she felt pain in her ribs. The wolf came closer to her in order to harm her. She closed her eyes. But nothing happened, when she opened them, she saw a huge white wolf that fight with black rogue. From the size of the wolf she can tell it's an Alpha and then she remember from the glimpse of it that she saw it somewhere.

"Tyler" she whispered.

White wolf was biting on black wolf's neck. It was brutal fight. White wolf dominant the black wolf. Tyler was direct descendant of moon goddess and he was an Alpha making him stronger than other wolfs.

After the brutal fight Tyler finally had defeated the rogue. He was a bit injured. He shifted in his human. His shoulder was bleeding. She got up on her feet. He walked slowly towards her, his expressions were too much dangerous, she felt her legs gone numb and she stood still there.

There was a tree behind her. His eyes were dig into her eyes. He stood too much near to her that she felt his heat. He was naked, his body was sweaty, but his expressions were like he is going to eat her alive.

"What on the earth you were doing here in the middle of night?" his voice huskier due to anger. She felt her heart dropped. He placed his one hand over the tree and the other one over her chin to lift her face up.

"That rogue could eat you up alive easily and you are just a mare human wolf who cannot shift" he said harshly.

She looked inside his eyes they were poker, she was unable to tell what he was thinking. She was so numb that she was unable to leave. Her body was not by her side. Just then she glances at his shoulder which was bleeding.

"Your shoulder its bleeding" she said while trying to touch his shoulder, but he grabbed her hand in middle.

"Don't" he said angrily and turned.

"When she called him" A true werewolf Alpha does not take debt" she said while folding her arms around her chest.

He turned "it's your debt on me that you save my life do you want to let it go like this?" she said strongly, she was playing over his ego so that she can treat his injury.

He walked towards her "Come with me" she said.

"Did she order me?" he thought angrily.

He walked slowly with her; she took him at the waterfall.

"Just sit here I will be back after a while" she said and left into the woods.

After few minutes she came with few clothes.

"Where you get them from?" he asked curious.

"Jacob and I usually come here and he shifts sometimes so we keep few clothes here" she said while giving him warm clothes.

He put the jeans, but he was unable to wear T shirt as his shoulder was injured.

"Wait don't wear it yet" he looked at her with strange eyes, she blushed when she thought what he was thinking.

"I mean let me treat you" she said while hiding her embracement.

She took out a small towel from the clothes she brought and dipped it in the water flowing nearby. She placed it over his injured shoulder, he felt a bit pain but after a while the bleeding was stop. For fifteen minutes there was awkward silence and then he got up and turns to leave. He turned again and said.

"If you don't want to become meat to some rogue go home" he said.

"Thank you Tyler" she said from behind but he did not reply and left. She was thinking what happened that night and then she came back home.
