Chapter 5 High School Is Mess

She got up a bit late because of the last night. She got up of her bed and walked slowly towards bathroom to get fresh; she stopped by a mirror and observed her reflection. She was staring at herself; the memory of last night was as fresh as the time.

She felt a strange heat towards him, it was like her whole body was burning, and she never felt something like that before. That feeling was strange, she was feeling pain a much unknown pain and the heat together.

First she thought she was about to shift, but it was not about shift, it was something else. Ignoring her feelings she went to the bathroom to get fresh. After fifteen minutes she came out of the bathroom and put on her favorite yellow dress. She went down to grab something to eat. When she entered the Kitchen, unexpectedly to her Jacob ran towards her and hugged her.

"Jacob when you came back?" she asked. She looked at her parents who also had poker expressions.

"What happened?" she asked.

"What happened? Althea are you serious?" Ruby said, she never had seen her in such temper.

"Thanks Goodness you are okay Althea I was worried sick, Tyler had called Alpha last night and said there was rogue in the woods who attacked you" said Jacob worried.

"I came here as soon as I could why you had gone to the woods Althea I told you to control your wolf" he said while checking her up if she is okay.

"I am fine I am fine Jacob my wolf was urging me to go outside so I went outside" she said sheepish.

"You could have told us honey" said Jack angrily.

"Sorry Daddy I thought mom was tired lately so did not wanted to mock her, so I went own my own" she said innocently.

"Oh honey if anything happened to you" said Ruby and she ran to hug her.

"I am fine mom, I am fine" she said smiling. She was still feeling pain and heat, but she was not telling this to anyone as they were already worried.

"Lilly why I am feeling so heat?" she asked her wolf.

"I still don't understand it Althea, I am feeling it, its pain and the heat same time" her wolf responded.

"Do you want to shift?" Althea asked.

"No it's not urge to shift" said Lilly.

"What happened?" asked Jacob.

"N Nothing I was just talking to Lilly about last night" she said.

"You don't know how worried I was, don't ever do that" said Jacob she smiled.

"So when will be back?" she asked.

"Our Grandparents are not good, it looks like they are taking their last breath" said Jacob sadly.

"They were previous Alpha and Luna of the pack" said Jack.

"Althea you want to shift today?" asked Jacob.

"No Jacob I am fine, you should go to your grandparents" she said smiling.

"Promise me you won't go there alone if this was not Tyler I can't think next" he said worried.

"It's okay Jacob I am fine" she said.

It's been two weeks Jacob had not returned, she saw Tyler again in the pack house when she went with Viviana. He was still as cold as he used to be. But whenever she saw him the pain and the heat increases.

She was preparing things for high school. She misses Jacob as he was her only friend in the pack. People envy her for being different. She wanted to know about the heat but she was afraid to make them worry. She had to join school tomorrow, she was wondering if Jacob would be back. She had not shift during the last cycle, she indicating her heat to be the reason of her skip shift. She had prepared her bag for high school's first day.

"Already done" she whispered, when she felt someone standing behind her, she turned it was Collin.

"Hy!" she said softly.

"So your high school' life is starting tomorrow ?" he asked while sitting over her bed.

"Yeah it is and I hope it will go smooth" she said.

"If anyone bullied you straight tell me I will set their ass on fire" he said mischievously.

"Where you learn that from ?" she asked furious.

"I went to Viviana's house when we heart Tyler saying something like that to someone" he said smiling. She felt so much furious.

"You will call Viviana here and will not go there" she said angry.

"How could he talk this kind of stuff in front of kids" she said furious.

"He does not know we were there, he was on Phone when he passed by us and said "Why does I care if he is with her? I want to set his ass on fire" he said innocently.

"Yeah now prince got a guddie guddie crush" she thought while roll her eyes. He put her bag on the sofa and left the room.

"Oh no Jacob is still not here I have go alone?" she thought while standing outside of her house. She was walking sadly when she noticed someone was walking beside her.

She stopped and looked it was Jacob "Jacob you are back" she said hugged him.

"Of course I am back it is our first day" he said smiling.

"Let's go or else we will be late" she said and the both walked towards Jacob's car.

High school was surprise. Student from senior year were walking carelessly and few of them bullying the new comers.

"Is this place is the high school?" she said whispered.

"Yeah I really think so and guess what our lover boy is already fits in the situation" he said while pointing at Tyler who stood beside some brunette girl carelessly while she was flirting with him.

A glimpse of him gave Althea the same pain and heated feeling, but this time it was strong. Her heart was racing fast.

"Lets go its 8...." Said Jacob but he stopped in the middle while looking at her.

"What happened?" he asked.

"Nothing I I am fine" she said.

"You sure" he asked.

"Yeah let's go" she said energetic but inside she was exhausted. She turned left to leave when Tyler looked at her, their eyes met for few seconds; he was looking at her until she left.

"Look is that purple eyed rogue" said Julia who was smiling evil.

"She is taking advantage for being so called daughter of Beta" said Hannah. Ignoring gossiping she was walking slowly. She was used to this. She sat on the bench as usual with Tyler.

"High school is bit boring" during lecture she said to Jacob who laughed.

"Mr. Jacob may I have your attention to tell me what Joke Miss Althea had told you?" said the professor while crossing her arms angrily.

"Mam it was nothing we were discussing some stuff which turn out a bit funny" he said.

"Both of you get up and leave" said Professor. Now the class was gossiping. Althea felt embarrassed. Tyler was also looking at them; he gave a sigh to Jacob and rolled his eyes. The both had left the class.

"It's your fault why you laugh" she said angrily.

"You crack a joke what you were expecting from me crying?" he said carelessly.

"It was not a joke it is boring" she said annoyed.

"Well now we are out of that boring lecture" he said. She rolled her eyes.

A tall girl was sitting on bench, she was looking at Jacob.

"Well something not boring" he said smiling and waving at her

"Are you kidding me" she said annoyed.

"Oh come on I like her, I mean my first date at high school" he said and walked towards the woman.

"Wow now I am all alone own my own" she said and walked away. She was walking meaninglessly since half hour, she knew now the class from which she was kick off is over, she was waiting for Jacob and the next class. She walks towards the lockers when a girl stopped her. They were in the same class she was in. Of course Julia was with her too.

"Wait purple shit! I think we have to talk" said Julia.

"What you want Julia?" she asked furious.

"We want nothing from dirt like you, just a thing, we will give you a dare and you have to fulfill it" said the tall girl.

"Hmm I don't think so she can do it, I mean poor dumbo did not even shift" said Julia. She felt embarrassed.

"Oh poor kitty! But that does not make us spare you rogue" she said harshly.

"I need that bag of yours" said Julia mischievously.

"No I will not give my bag to you" said Althea angrily.

The tall girl walked ahead slowly trying to snatch her bag. Althea's height was not equal to that girl, she retreated slowly. But the both Julia and the girl were walking towards her. Althea was walking backward until she harshly collides with something very hard. Two hard hand were grabbing her from her arms as she was about to fell. She turned to look who it, much to her horror it was Tyler is. His eyes were furious. He let her go and walked towards the girls who were head over heel praising him and forgetting about Althea. She stared at his broad shoulders for a while and left. The feeling of his strong hold was still over her arms.

It took her four weeks to adjust in the school, she never confront Tyler after that. Every student on the school went for training classes as they could shift it was necessary for werewolf to get trained; Althea was secretly trained by Jacob. Nobody knows that she can shift. But the mystery of Canis Lupus was more interesting. She was having good time at the school; Jacob had made relationship with Gena, the girl they saw on bench the other day. She felt herself lonely, but she spends her time in a library.

She was sitting in the Library which was almost empty when she heard noises. Sexual kind of voices. She walked slowly towards the back side of library and then she saw something she thinks would be last thing on earth she wanted to saw. Tyler was making out with Julia. She felt sick.

She was about to leave when she accidently throw a book from the shelf.

They noticed her "Look who is here to destroy the party, A rogue" she said.

"Julia for last time stop calling me that and I came here because your nasty moments were making noises in the library" she said annoyed.

She was talking to Julia like that but she does not have this courage to talk with Tyler like that. She turned to leave when he grabbed her hand, he lifted her face with his first finger.

"Did those noises attracted you?" he said in a huskier voice. She felt her heart race so much fast.

The same pain and heat was rushing throw her body. She felt so much pain that her wolf vine inside her head. There were tears in eyes with pain. He looked at her, but his expression was not change, he had complete command over his expressions. He let her go slowly and she turned and ran away.

Julia had hugged him from behind "Honey she is just mood destroyer we can start over" she said, but he lost all of his interest.

"Is that heat I felt, her eyes were screaming with feeling Axel? " he asked his wolf.

"Well I felt her wolf was in pain and heat" said Axel.

"But how can it be Axel she cannot shift?" he said.

"I am afraid I don't know" Axel had responded. He left Julia over there.

She went straight to the bathroom and washed her face.

"Why I am feeling this pain when he is around Lilly?" he asked her wolf.

"I don't know anything, I never felt something like that Althea we have to tell to someone" Lilly said.

"I will talk to Jacob about this" she thought. She came out of the bathroom when she saw a poster about Music contest in the school, they were enrolling talented student. Since childhood she had keen interest in music, she decided to take part, and she enrolled her name in the contest.
