Chapter 6 6. Tit for tat

-Anastasia's POV-

"Anastasia, I've told you to behave. You are drawing attention to yourself." Ajax brought me into the classroom building and dragged me to a corner. He sighed and started to lecture me. I didn't know he could say so many words before.

"It's Stacy picking up trouble!" I said with my teeth clenched, "what do you expect me to do?"

He sighed. "Stacy...has someone backing her. I will find a way to teach her some lessons."

"I don't need you..."

I was cut off. "That's it. Now, go join the running.10 more laps for you and Stacy."

"What the hack?" He didn't bother to listen to my protest and left.

Yeah that's my brother. Typical. He doesn't care shit about me.

"Hurry up. You're lagging behind!" Ajax blew his whistle when running with us on the training field. I flipped him a finger, and I found Aiden looking at me.

His hazel eyes seemed glued to me. I could feel something burning in my stomach. Amy was a bit uneasy.

I decided to ignore it for now and focus on the run. 10 laps. Stacy ran passed me and intentionally bumped my shoulder. I clenched my teeth to catch up.

When I finally finished the run, I'm soaked my sweat. I threw myself onto the grass and looked up at the sky.

"Remember what I said." Ajax walked to me with his eyes looking down on me.

"It's not my fucking fault !" I tried to give him a punch in his nose but I couldn't. I was exhausted from running.

But he ignored my words and continued,"Future trainings will include wolf fight. Be prepared."

What? But I couldn't shift!

My eyes wide open, I didn't care I was punished by him seconds ago and grabbed his arms. "Do I have to participate?"

"Yes." He said. I noticed his hands were balled into fists. "If you want to find a place in this pack, you need to show your strength. " He looked at me, decided to give me some encouragement, "You can do it. You are my sister, and I had trained you well."

Yeah that was two years ago and you have no f*cking idea that I can't f*cking shift! I cursed in my mind.

And why would he care. He just wants to secure his beta position. If he knew I can't shift, he would probably regret taking me here, a humiliation to his title.

"Show me what you have." Ajax waved his fists and before he could say any other jerk talks, the alpha came to him.

"Ajax, can I speak to you for a second?" Alpha Aiden strode to us. Ajax nodded and they left.

"Anastasia! Are you okay?" Farisa ran to me. Her brown hair went up and down with the wind.

"...can't be better." I said through my clenched teeth and faked a smile.

"I just ran 10 more laps. But worth it. I kicked Stacy's ass."

"Yeah you are my hero." She laughed and we leave the gym for other classes.

One thing I'm really grateful is Farisa. She is a really good friend, my first BFF as a matter of fact. She let me live with her as her parents were out for research. They were archeologists, she told me, often in field researches and seldom came back.

What a perfect opportunity to avoid living with Ajax.

Even though I was 200% reluctant, but I still had to come to today's training. And Stacy, as usual, reluctant to let me go.

"I will tell you what an Omega means." Stacy whispered in my ears before she jumped back. I thought she was still pissed with yesterday's 10 laps run.

I shrugged. Today's training is still in human form. "We will see." I murmured and showed her a sweet smile.

Stacy pounced on me once Ajax blew his whistle, but she was too slow. I ducked it easily and grabbed legs to throw her on the ground. She tried to jump up, but I advanced towards her menacingly and got her under my control.

Her legs went against my chest. I knew my top would look full of earth now, but it's not the time to care about it.

She finally kicked me off her body and then choked my neck. I grabbed her hair and pulled it to the ground. She obviously cherished her red hair and loosened her control.

Little bit*ch, only use some dirty tricks.

Tit for tat, you ask for it.

She jumped to me again but I half crouched and avoided her attack. I was ready to punch in her belly when I suddenly peeked a claw at the corner of my eyes...

She shifted!

The claws were so sharp that my tops were almost ripped off. Her face went blank for a second when she noticed a bruise on my shoulders. I got the chance, but a man rushed between us when I was about to fight back.

"Stop! Stacy! You're against the rules!" It was Alpha Aiden. He saw what Stacy did to me.

"You can't shift. Do you remember?" He looked down on Stacy who fell down on the ground from his attack and sobbed.

"...Sorry, alpha." Stacy bit her lips and gave me a menacing look.

I knew she wouldn't let me go. I made her lose face. She wouldn't forgive me.

"Step aside and cool yourself. I will train with Anastasia."

...What?

Both Stacy and I didn't see that coming. Why was the alpha asking to train with me? !

Stacy then realized what Alpha Aiden meant and smirked at me. Apparently, Alpha Aiden would teach me a lesson for humiliating a top ranker, and beat me to death.
