Chapter 5 Blown away

Each day is a celebration for me with David, he always made good care for me but each time I see him,his eyes is filled with love but his mouth is not expressing it. I'm waiting for the moment to hold his hand, lean my head on his shoulder, feel his heart beat with love.

we were sitting in the class and all the teacher had meeting a regarding the Annual Day function. I was looking at David he was playing pen fight with his friends, he is really enjoying his life with his friends.

Suddenly Maths teacher came inside the class everyone went silent, she said "There is an announcement for all the cabinet members of the school administration, you must perform a dance with a pair, every member should give your names along with your partner in a couple of days."

Well I was quite excited about the announcement because I knew David would approach me first and we would dance together. But what happened was something I never expected, because he asked every girl in class except me even Gayathri asked, me "Did David called you for dance?" but with crying face I said no.

She knew that I love David, and we both are close to each other but as I said no she was shocked and asked me "Is there any problem between you and David". "No, I don't know why he didn't ask me". As I said tears came out of my eyes Gayathri made me to lean on her chest and said "Don't cry". "No Gayu I was so happy when the announcement came and I was really excited that David will have me as his first choice but he made to cry, I'm not important to him, he didn't love me" I said to her she remained silent.

As the final bell ranged I came out my class and walked towards the school bus I was waiting near the main gate were I and David regularly stand to talk till the bus moves. But today he didn't come still, I knew there is no football practice till Annual Day function, but I don't know why he is avoiding me.

Tomorrow he and his pair should register their place, I don't have strength to see another girl standing in my place. But I'm curious to know the girl.

The next day I was sitting in the class and staring at David place, he was not there but I was imagining that he is sitting there and we both were looking at each other without taking the eyes off.

Suddenly Gayathri came and said, "Hey David got a pair" my face went dull and all my imagination faded I didn't reply her instead I turned my face towards the window and watching outside.

Everyone came to the class except David after sometime a junior boy came to the class to inform about the registration which is happening in other class.Everyone started moving but I didn't because I'm not having interest to look him . But Gayathri pulled my hand Dragged me to the class, I saw him but he was alone, I went to the corner of the class were no one can see me.

They started the registration and every cabinet members were giving their names .David! they called out aftersometime , he came forward but he was alone , "Where is your pair David?" asked the co-ordinator he was searching someone in the crowd I covered my face not to see this , but at one point I saw him and he sawed me he waved his hand to come to him , but I had no clue what he is doing , Suddenly this happened he came to me hold my hand and pulled me forward to registration desk.David and Ankita he said to the co-ordinator , I was speechless it was really exciting and surprising , his hold on my hand was so tight and I said inside don't ever dare leave my hand . My heart filled joy and happiness with no words to explain. The love I had for him is increasing day by day , I am celebrating myself like an angel.

we moved out, walking in the corridor but not holding hands. He was on the other end, we both were walking slowly but seeing each other without uttering any word.

"why didn't you come to me first when the announcement was made? I was angry and felt very sad, you know?" I said. "Yes, I noticed that you were not looking at me this morning when I crossed you near the class" he replied. I remained silent and said, "How do you know that I can dance?".

"I saw a dance photo in your car dashboard so as soon as the announcement came I decided to dance with you, but till now I was just kidding with you" he replied."But it was a very big surprise for me" I said and I hit him on his shoulder "How could you think that I will leave you and go with other girl's" he said .I didn't speak a word rather I smiled,after reaching the school gate "Select a nice song for our dance, we will meet up in practice" he said and went.

The next day I was waiting for Ankita in the dancing stage for practice. I was very excited because I'm going to dance with her. I was thinking about the moves that we are going to do. She came, she wore a red sleeveless t-shirt and a black track pant, she looked great in her outfit I cannot take my eyes off her. she came near me "Can we dance?" she said "Yes" I replied.well we both were sitting and discussing a about the song we are going to dance.

After hearing many songs, I and David concluded to dance for "I can't help falling in love with you" it is a slow and a romantic melody. when the song was played we both were fell into the song, I don't know how David felt but I played the whole song bringing a visual as we both were dancing with love, I wish David should also feel the same.

we both were ready to dance, since it is a romantic dance as well as the song is quite slow, we need to dance close to each other. But as a boy David had a hesitation to touch me, I liked nervousness in his face each time when he touch me. To sort out this I said, "Hey ! don't think anything wrong in touching me,think I'm your love then you won't feel anything wrong, after all its just a dance". But inside I felt quite sad as I said just think!

since Ankita said "Think as my love" I was bold enough to touch her but I wonder that her statement should come true.

we both were dancing and all other participants appreciated our dance since the romance was too good. I really enjoyed the touches, the lifts, the twist, and the tight hold from my beloved.

we both were tired as we are practising from the morning. now we both got some rest as Ankita was sitting near me the evening sun fell on Ankita 's face ,by the time she drank some water while some drop of water spilled out of her mouth and moved downwards to her neck now in sunlight shines as a pearl from the sea and the water drop goes further to the place of heaven.

I was admiring her as know one can do, such a wonderful creation from god, I didn't take my eyes off her for even a minute. As the song says "I can't help falling in love for her. I wonder to dance with her for the rest of my life. But to make this happen I need her, I should propose her as soon as possible and hold her hand and walk in the park of love.

As we were sitting I came up with an idea to propose her by painting her. she should not reject me at any cost. This annual day function will be an unforgettable memory for both of us.

As days past I was fully involved in painting her I was very careful in painting her, I drew her as she is sitting in a boat in the middle of the lake, it took me almost a week to draw her completely, I gave her a red salwar for her cloths, it is nice to see our love coming out of our hand as a wonderful painting.

The annual day function is above to start I was in the backstage co-ordinating the participants for their events. Even though my I eyes were searching for Ankita but I cannot find her, maybe she will be in the dressing room preparing herself for the dance. I had a surprise for her in the dance performance.

"Hey" someone panted me on the shoulder I turned quickly it's her Ankita ! the beautiful girl on earth!. She was hot and very pretty in her red frock with white glove in her hand. After seeing her I don't know what to speak I was just seeing her. The announcement was made for our dance till then we didn't talk to each other I was looking at her so as she.

we went to the backstage waiting for the song. since it is a fusion dance our performance was the last. we both were waiting in the backstage, I cannot resist myself seeing her but suddenly she noticed and moved her chin towards me and asked "What! I said "Nothing". "Then Why are you looking at me" she asked. By bringing some confidence within me I said, "You know you look very beautiful in this dress" her cheeks went red and she started blushing "Thank you" she replied. "You also look great in this black suite" she said I smiled at her.

As the dance was going on we both were waiting for our song, as our song came we both occupied the stage with a romantic mood as we dance the whole crowd was silent and really enjoying the moves and the romance between me and David.

Something unexpected was done by David at the end of the song he suddenly took a rose from his coat knelt on to his knees and gave me the rose. I was surprised and my mind went blank because it was not the end plan.everybody in the crowd applauded us for our dance. soon after I somehow managed to react for David. I got the rose as the screen closed .

"How was the surprise?" he asked me. "Hey why didn't you say me this before I had no clue what to do there?" I replied. he paused for a minute and said "I didn't say to you because I thought that our performance should be real to bring the real expression we cannot have a plan, now the audience will never forget our performance." he replied.

I smiled at him and said, "I really enjoyed that moment" "I know" he replied. As we were talking his friends called him and I didn't see him then, rather I was looking at the rose he gave me.

My friends called me as I was the event co-ordinator but my thought was to propose Ankita , I said to Gautham that today I 'm going to propose Ankita he felt really good for me.

As the Annual day function comes to the end everybody started to move out of the stadium , I was searching for Ankita . But I cannot find her I'm the last person to leave the stadium.

I went down to the gate but there was no school bus left , I don't know what to do and I was very disappointed that I missed an opportunity with her.

Suddenly I noticed someone standing near the security room , I went closer its her Ankita was standing all alone . I called her , her face came to life when I called her she was really happy in seeing me under this tough situation .

"What are you doing here?" I asked her. "My parents said that they will come to the function, I was searching for them but they didn't come" she replied with a very low voice . I felt very sad for her "Don't worry I'm here let me take you to your house , come with me" I said ." I decided to come with you the moment I saw you but it is too far from here" she replied . "Hey we will take a short cut to upper lake view its not too far we can find a telephone shop I will call my friend to bring a bike and I will drop you" I said she smiled at me .And we both started to walk in the cold breeze having the moonlight as the torch in the dark .

As we were walking to the Upper lake view it I was waiting for a chance to give her the drawing and say my love .she begins to talk saying me about her ambition " You know David I always dream to become a Journalist" she said "well that's great its an interesting job to do" I replied. "what is your dream David ?" she questioned . "Ankita I always want to show my talent outside, my dream is to become an artist. It was too cold Ankita was shivering so I removed my coat and wear around Ankita .

I will forget this moment in my life I and David walking alone in the night ,As we were walking suddenly a man with the pile of wood in his head ran towards us and said "Hey be careful there is a Bison coming on this way" then he ran . I was afraid I turned my head to David he looked quite confident.

we continued to walk we didn't speak to each other since our focus was only on the road checking whether the Bison is coming . Suddenly there is a shake on the trees and the bushes on the roadside my eyes went wide with no time I held onto David's hand.

As she hold my hand one side I felt really happy to feel the touch of my love , but on the other side I'm worried when and from were this Bison will come. we were walking slowly checking for the animal. suddenly the animal came in front of us . we both left with no clue what to do next ,that animal was looking us ,slowly we were passing the animal. At one point the animal turns his head to us at that time Ankita's hold was so tight as it hurt me for minute , but successfully we passed the animal and reached the Upper lake view.

Since the upper lake view is a open place we can see the view without any difficulties . So I called Ankita to see the view ,since it's a full moon day it was really awesome to the Lake under the light of the moon.

Ankita was really enjoying the climate as well as the beautiful view . I thought this will be a good time to propose her , see was busy in enjoying the climate I took the drawing from my bag , I was bit a nervous , Suddenly she turned and I quickly hide the paper behind my back but she was so eager to know what is that paper. "what is the paper your hiding David?" she asked me, my tongue stumbled and said "Hmm Hmm nothing" .But she again forced me and said "Show me David or I will not come with you". I brought confidence within my self "okay close your eyes" I said. She was very curious and closed her eyes . "Don't open your eyes" I said and I brought the paper to the front .Now I said "listen to me before you open your eyes" . "Okay" she said . "Ankita I was about to tell this to you from the day you joined this school, but I didn't get a perfect time to say , I hope you won't mistake me . I went in knees took the paper little high not covering my face "Open your eyes Ankita" I said she opened her eyes looked me holding her painting in my hand "I love you" I said . she was so surprised holding her hands closely to her mouth ,not even trying to speak but simply seeing me and her painting . After a minute she got the paper looked the painting closely . I was waiting her reply .

"David I didn't expect such a wonderful gift from you I was really impressed , because I didn't feel so much of care and love with anyone except you........And David I was really expecting this moment I know that you are loving me but I felt the real love and care on the day when I got stuck inside the Lab. Since that day I was waiting for this moment ,hearing I Love You from your mouth" I said , while talking this happy tears came out of my eyes . I was really Blown away the way he painted me and proposed me. I finally opened up "I Love Too David" I said and hold his hand and said " I don't want to leave this hand till the end" . "I will not leave your hand till death" he replied .

so we both started to walk again but this time we were holding hands together and continued our walk. I was really happy so as he .He dropped me in my house in his friends bike .
