Chapter 4 Taste of Happiness

Though going to school is happiness but seeing her over there is the happiest thing happened to me .It was a clear blue sky as the sun shines more brighter than before .we were preparing for the lab models ,yeah it is physics practical and everyone in the class were studying but as usual I searched for Ankita but she was not there suddenly someone panted on my shoulder I turned back it was her "Hi" she said "Hi" I replied "Who are you searching" she asked. "well I was searching for the prettiest girl in this class" I replied. "ohh really did you find her" she asked. "yeah she is standing in front of me" I replied. she smiled and blushed.

It is time for the exam now, it is of two batches I 'm in the first batch.so, I went inside and did my practical as soon as possible and came to the class.

when I came inside Ankita was with her four friends Jeni, Gayathri, Pooja and Mithra. "How did you do?" She asked from her place with a loud voice. "Good! I think I would pass" I replied. "What about your preparation" I asked her. "Not bad but it is difficult to understand the calculation part" she replied. "Come to my place let me teach you" I said to her. she paused for a minute "Hey don't be afraid I won't eat you come here" I said to her. She laughed and came to my place, she sat near my me, I was looking at her I didn't utter a word since she sat near me, she was reading the note book but her friends were watching us and suddenly they laughed a bit louder but I was still admiring her beauty. She quickly turns as her friends signalled her to see me."Hey, don't simply look at me teach me" she raised her voice but she turned to the other side and smiled inside I noticed that "Come let's learn" I replied and taught her the calculation part. Now it's time for the second batch students "All the best Ankita" I said. "Thanks" she replied.

Five minutes more finish it quickly said the Invigilator, I was slow in my calculation, though I managed to do as fast as I could.Everyone in the class went but I was still in there. since the teacher was busy in arranging the paper I finished the exam before the final bell. I came outside the exam hall went to the class as I 'm walking I came to know that I forgot my books and purse because I was empty. So, I rushed to the laboratory I noticed my books was outside but my purse is inside.I went inside to take my purse but my books were still outside. Though I was sitting in the corner of the class no one can't see me through the window or by the door. I went to my place and took my purse but suddenly I heard a noise as the class was big I don't know what noise it is, I rushed to the door but the door was locked I just saw the security pass by the last window. In no time my eyes filled with tears, my heart beat rises in fear where I don't know what to do, I started to shout and bang the door as hard as I can but since the Laboratory is in the top floor no one heard me.I slowly lost my consciousness.

"Hey! Gayathri did you see Ankita" I asked her "I don't know maybe she will be on the bus" she replied but I know Ankita didn't come because I was standing in the gate for so long. I felt something bad so I rushed to the class room as my heart feels some pain and fear, I spotted her bag in her place. so now I know that she is inside the school. Now I went to the cultural team to ask for her but it was negative. My heart beat raised a bit more, my body began to sweat in fear. The last chance is the Lab so I rushed there but I noticed it was locked. I left with no clue I found some tear drop at the edge of my eyes. I felt sad and thinking of her as sitting in the parapet wall.

Suddenly I got a clue as I was thinking I got a picture of her books outside the Laboratory, so I rushed to the laboratory, looked through the window. I saw someone lying on the floor I know it would be Ankita I started to bang the door but no response from her.

I quickly went to the security room for help but no one was there. My mind went blank I took an iron rod which was lying on the security office for construction purpose. I went to the door of the Lab it is thick wooden door with a silver metallic lock.

I started to break the door by hitting it as hard as I could. As I was hitting the door continuously suddenly someone started to hit me from the back with a bamboo stick, it was the securities they were hitting me continuously not even giving me a chance to speak.

In mean time principal came there, I said "Stop! Stop! hitting me allow me to speak" the principal instructed them not to hit me "Sir Ankita is inside she is unconscious please save her".

"Sir no one was inside when I locked the class" said one of the security."Hey, see her books are outside I sawed her lying on the floor through the window". As the door was almost damaged I gave a powerful blow as it fell on the floor.

everyone saw Ankita lying in the floor. I immediately went to her I took her head and placed on my lap, I started to tap her cheeks and shouted "Ankita! ...Ankita!".

"Please get me some water" I said to the security till the water comes I was trying to wake her up. I literally cried I as my tear drop fell on cheeks I wiped with my finger.

I sprinkled the water over her face, I saw some movement in her face and finger, she slowly opened her eyes. She hugged me as she saw me, with tears in her eyes, she cried as she laid on my chest. "It is okay .... it's okay nothing to worry I'm here" I said.

Then Mary the nurse in our school took her to the sick room. "Sorry David" said the principal. I smiled him back

It was almost Seven 'o clock in the evening I was in the reception, Ankita's parents came to the office searching for her, the principal explained the whole the situation by showing me.

Her mom came to me "Thank you David" she said I smiled. Soon after Ankita came outside her mom gave her a tight hug and a kiss in her forehead. She went with her mother holding her hands suddenly she stopped asked her mom to leave her hand.

She came to me we were just seeing each other, she held my hand as she saw blood running through my fingers, it was a deep cut on my palm. She cried on seeing my injury, I went near her and wiped her tears "Stop crying Ankita" I said. "why did you do this David?" she asked."You are a gem to my life and you are not my friend your more than that "I said.

Her Mom called her as she was going I was watching her back , suddenly she turned and looked at me with a cute smile with love. The intense look from her eyes pierced my heart and made me to die for her. Now I'm seriously in love with her.

After sometimes school principal arranged a car to drop me.so, I reached my house `I said everything happened in school to my mother, she felt bad about the school administration. I ate my dinner and went to bed.

As I was lying on the bed my mind repeatedly played the scene when she looked me at the school gate. I cannot take it out of my mind. Because the look she gave me was saying so many things to me not only sorry, but love. yeah for the first time I saw love in her eyes, a gentle care in her smile and a life in her touch. So, I really tasted the taste of happiness for the first time.

"Your dress is ready go and take the shower" said my mom she brought a pink t-shirt and a mourn skirt, I took the dress and went to restroom. As the water drop fell on my forehead I felt the pain and suffering of David when I saw him his eyes were filled tears and his heart beats in fear when he sees me lying on the floor unconscious. I felt the complete care when he hugged me and said "it's Okay ... I'm here with you" so now I feel that my tears should shed for him, my heart should say his name, my life should be with him. Because I didn't feel anything like this before, a love with care and a soul with life.

I had a terrible life since my birth though I brought up in a good financial background I always longed for love and care , a father who always quarrelling with my mother , since I was eight , made me lonely, she also doesn't care anything for me ,I can get everything but it is very difficult for me to feel love and care .But today my heart experienced love and care with David , he showed me the real value of love with care , my heart says to hold his hands forever .
