Chapter 5 We meet again, my beautiful muse

I woke up in the room assigned to me; I was visiting the Kingdom of Galandria; the King was an old friend of my father, and after he visited my Clan, I accepted his proposal and invitation.

I am choosing my outfit for today; it has been so long since I have been present at the tournaments here. It has been 8 years since the last time I witnessed one of them, and I remember it as if it was yesterday.

Galandria had one of the best champions, the fastest and strongest, the future King before the tragedy where he lost his life. My great friend Ulises, I remember the anecdotes of our fights and conquests; no woman could resist us when we were teenagers.

I remember his sister Georgina, she was a little girl the last time life was 12 years old; I wonder how she will look now. She was gorgeous although quite a tantrum for my taste, she definitely had a special beauty a charisma that made her personality shine.

"Magnus, are you ready," Trevor said, walking into my room without knocking on the door.

The skill and speed of the men in the center of the area caught my attention; they were fighting quite well. However, the one in silver was quite dirty in the way he fought, don't get me wrong, he was good, but the one in red looked more cunning.

"Trevor?" I said furiously.

"Tell me, what happened?".

"Who is that guy in the silver armor?" I asked him while I kept looking at that cowardly idiot.

"That's the former champion, the one who has 3 years without being able to endorse his title, is Kenzo, Alpha of West Rock Clan".

"An Alpha, what a little man, he has no pride from what I see, he doesn't stop with ta to win again."

I heard the mediator say that he is awarded the Conclave, the representative of the Lennox house; I was pretty surprised because the last champion they had was Ulysses; look at the boy who could not walk well and had to be helped to get to his tent.

I watched as the doctor looked at this boy's wound and said "I'm sorry Duque, but the wound is a little deep, it would be best to withdraw so we can take care of him and prevent him from bleeding any more", Duque, the only one I remember was his cousin Enrique, he was very close to Ulises, but I didn't know him very well.

"I'm not going to withdraw, it would be disrespectful to my uncle and my family, just bandage the wound and I'll continue" said the proud as Ulises and the truth I understood his point of view, if it hadn't been for Kenzo's dirty move, I'm sure he would have won the fight.

"You're crazy, you didn't listen to the doctor, you're losing blood don't be stupid and put aside your pride, you think I'd rather see you dead than in my house alive, you know how Kenzo fights, he's not going to stop to finish you in this state and I don't plan to lose you too" said Gina furious and asked me if between them there was something else, she looked pretty worried.

"Gina, understand me I can't withdraw and I won't" replied the boy with quite a temper, I liked that even though it was quite a large wound he didn't flinch.

"I am not going to ask your opinion, as part of the royal family and your family, I can make that decision for you, so doctor take care of him, he is going to retire from combat" she said in a commanding voice, I found that quite sexy and I couldn't help but feel a little aroused seeing her like that, she turned around and stormed off.

I looked at Trevor and told him to follow me, we walked into the tent and I watched as this boy tried to get up, I put my hand on his shoulder sitting him down roughly and he looked up to see who I was.

"And who the hell are you to boss me around?" he growled and I just smiled at him.

"Someone who is going to help you through this and you will owe me a favor" I said smiling at him, as I removed my shirt.

"Help him undress, Trevor pass me the sword" I said and they all looked at me , confused.

"I don't have time for explanations, I'm going to take his place I need his clothes, hurry up".

"What, you can't do that, you must be royalty to replace me and I can't allow that, it would disqualify me and be a disgrace to my family" he said worried.

"What is your name?" I asked him as I removed my belt.

"I am the Duke of Lennox, Henry nephew of King Ezekiel" he said proudly and now I understood everything, why he did not want to retire.

"I understand you, don't disgrace your family, you may not recognize me, but I am the Alpha King and I can take your place without any problem, besides I will wear your armor no one will notice and you can take enough time for you to receive the champion's trophy, don't worry, now I need your clothes, hurry up."

"No hareeeeeee........." said Enrique , but he didn't finish speaking , when he was already on the floor, he had fainted because of the blood he lost.

"Attend him doctor and stay with him until we get back , not a word to anyone" I said and the doctor accent confirming my order.

I took advantage of the moment and changed quickly, took his sword and his assistant Nolan I think he called, guided me to the combat area, while Trevor followed us closely. Still, when we arrived I saw something that surprised me a lot and at the same time I could not help but smile at what was in front of me.
