Chapter 3 Mirage or Reality

"Gina, where are you from? Where can I find you beautiful," he said as he kept kissing me. My defenses were down; I couldn't believe I was losing myself in the caresses of this Greek god, which I would never have done in my five senses. Still, the strange thing was that I was in my five senses; I was allowing this to happen, and worse, I was enjoying it too much.

I opened my mouth, but no words came out, only noises and moans, " I am Georg........." I said, ready to reveal my true identity. Still, the door opened, and the light from the hallway blinded us both, bringing me to the reality of what was about to happen.

I looked at the person in front of us, and it was Aime; her face was one of concern, and she was pretty pale; I stared at her, knowing something was not right.

She approached me, took my hand, and pulled me away from Black, causing him to growl like an animal as he felt me being pulled away from him.

Aime looked at him in shock and ignored him looking me in the eyes, and said, "He's here, we have to go remember we came unaccompanied," she said with fear in her eyes, and that's when I realized who she was referring to, I was alone without any support to protect me in a possible kidnapping.

"Are you sure it's him?" I asked her with fear because of the situation we were in. "I'd know that idiot anywhere," she said very seriously, looking at me, and I knew she wasn't wrong.

I walked up to Black and looked him in the eyes, " I'm sorry, I have to go, I'm really sorry," I said and took Aime's hand, and we ran off.

I looked back and saw Black looking at me puzzled; we started walking fast, but when we reached the track, Aime ran into Trevor, and he looked at her puzzled; and directed us towards a private exit; in the distance, I could see Kenzo entering with his Beta.

I walked faster behind Aime, and I could see Trevor kissing her, and as he pulled away, he said, "I'll call you later, now go," he said and looked at Aime, confused, what had I missed.

She rolled her eyes at me and said, "I'll explain later; let's go."

We ran to the parking lot, got into her car, and she sped up as she watched out the window as Kenzo came out of the bar, furious, looking at us.

"Shit, that was close; how did he find me? He was supposed to be at the castle when we left."

"I have no idea, but he was close; luckily, I saw him while I was dancing with Trevor."

At that, Aime's cell phone ringer went off, and she answered.

"Hello, hello, stop yelling at me, Enrique, and yes, she's with me, don't worry, we're fine," Aime said, rolling her eyes and handing me the cell phone.

It was Enrique, and I knew I was in trouble; when he yells it's better not to be around, I took it and got ready for the sermon.

"Hey, how's the party still going?" I said, trying to calm him down a little.

"I'm not for jokes Gina, how could you do this to me again," Enrique said, and I knew that when he used my nickname of endearment, it was because there was a big scolding coming from him.

"Enrique, I'm sorry," I said with my best smile.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, that's all you can say, Gina, know how worried I was when Kenzo left and a guard heard him saying that you went to a bar and that he would come for you? I panicked terribly, I went up to your room, and I was surprised that you were not there; you don't know all the possible situations that went through my head at that moment".

I was sitting like a dog with its tail between its legs; I didn't know what to say to him but to listen to him and endure the scolding when I had already promised him that I wouldn't do it again.

"Right now, you tell me where you are so I can come and get you," he told me angrily.

"We are in Aime's car, and we are already on our way to the castle; Kenzo found us at the bar, but we were able to leave without him seeing us, so you can be calm; we are about to arrive," I told him and hung up the call.

"Poor Enrique, him being your cousin is punishment enough; they should raise his salary just taking care of you; it's a full-time job," Aime said, and we both looked at each other and ended up laughing like crazy because the truth was right.

We arrived at the castle, and Aime spent the night in a guest room; the next day, during breakfast, she was already mentally prepared for Enrique's scolding.

"Sit down, Aime; I'm starving; we have to have breakfast because today the tournament starts," I said excitedly.

"I already want to see the twins face when you beat them again in the archery tournament; you are amazing, no one has been able to beat you since you started in this tournament, and I know you enjoy beating all those arrogant nobles and alphas, it's a show to see you do it ha, ha, ha," said Aime laughing.

At that, Enrique came in, and I only counted a few seconds to hear him scold me saying how childish and careless I had been.

"May I know where you went yesterday, you know how worried I was and more to realize how close Kenzo was to you, Georgina may it be the last time you do it, how am I supposed to protect you if I don't even know where you are, really one of these days I'm going to have a heart attack because of you or my uncle will exile me," he said frustrated trying to pass food in his mouth.

"Good morning to you too, Enrique," said Aime.

He looked at her sarcastically and said, " Don't make me start with you too, Aime."

She raised her hands in surrender and said, "Huy, someone needs a mate ASAP, because what a character."

"I don't need to have a mate or girlfriend to be furious with you, but I will have to swallow my anger because today is the tournament, and I can't leave you locked up like little girls."

"I just remind you, Georgina, that my uncle asked you to be on your best behavior, during these 2 days, it's a lot to ask that from you," said Enrique, almost begging me and the truth I felt sorry for him, the truth is that with me he has his hands full.

I looked at him and smiled at him like when we were little and asked for forgiveness for some mischief; I raised my hand and said, "I solemnly promise to behave myself during these 2 days." "You're making fun of me," he said, looking at me angrily and raising his eyebrow.

"Of course not! I would never do that; I promise to behave myself okay, I'm sorry, go hurry up and eat breakfast; I'm anxious to see the combat tournament."

"Why? Do you want to see Kenzo get his ass kicked?" said Enrique smiling at her.

"Kenzo is going to be in the fighting tournament and stuff," said Aime.

"Apparently, he wants to take advantage of being invited and regain his championship title, although there will be many competitors among them, Magnus."

"Magnus? The Alpha King?", I said surprised when I heard his name; I had completely forgotten about him.

Aime was just as surprised as I was to hear what Enrique said. "And by the way, where is that cocky guy? I haven't even seen him."

"And why is it that I'm not surprised, just like you, he also arrived quite late from his trip and decided to go to his room; he arrived accompanied by his Beta and some warriors."

Aime started coughing and was choking; I stared at her, surprised, at her reaction to hearing that Magnus arrived with his Beta.

"Are you okay, Aime?" I asked.

"Yes," She said, trying to get back on her feet.

"I'll leave you. I have to go ahead; please don't be late so you can be near your father; he will be waiting for you to start the final rounds."

I nodded my head, and Enrique left, leaving us alone at the table.

I looked at my friend and knew something was going on, so I confronted her, " can you tell me what is going on." She looked at me and took a deep breath. "You remember Trevor, tall, blond green eyes body of impact," she said, almost drooling.

That's when I remembered Black and the kiss we gave each other, my fingers touched my lips, and I remembered that feeling, but Aime's gaze grounded me to earth again. "I don't really see him as handsome, but what about him."

"He's my mate Georgina," Aime said excitedly. "What?"

"I know, I didn't expect it either when I met him, and there's even more, he's not just any wolf, well apart from being one of the owners of the "Golden Dragon," he's also a Beta, and you can't even imagine whose." "I have no idea, but I have a feeling I'm not going to like your answer."

'Trevor is the Beta of the Alpha King, of Magnus." she told me, surprised, but at the same time, I could sense how proud she was that her mate is of a high rank.

'I can't believe it; I'm happy for you Aime, you finally found your other half; I wish it was that easy for me." I told her as the smile faded on my face.

"That reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask you since yesterday; who was that man, the one I found you within one of the privates at the bar? They were in quite a revealing position," she said in a mischievous voice.

"I don't even know who he is just his name or nickname I have no idea, it's "Black," and believe me, I would love to see him again, there is something about him that attracts me too much like I never felt with another man, but it's something impossible and unlikely that I will ever see him again someday.
