Chapter 9 9

Ravi's POV

It's almost time to land and dad hasn't called me back.

Shit...... I'm starting to get worried, if dad doesn't call be back I will just have to sneak Adrian out of the plane on my own and if that happens i wouldn't fucking know where to start from.

"Sir are you ok" Adrian said

"Yes Yes I am ok, just feeling antsy that all"

"Look sir if this is about how to get me off the plane without Adam knowing then you don't need to bother yourself " he whispered

"Wh-What do you mean " confusion written all over my face, if he thinks running away from Adam is a good idea then he's got nothing coming because I don't run I mean I literally can't run. I suck seriously, "Adrian what is going in in that head of yours"

"Nothing I am not planning anything sir"

"Ok Ok so if you are not planning anything what then did you mean by I don't have to bother about getting you off this plane"

"Well this evening Adam came to me in the kitchen when I was trying to clean up, he congratulated me saying that I was good; at first I thought he wanted to have sex again...... But it wasn't the case " Adrian said "he said that your father called him in the afternoon after you retired to your room and told him how you loved my services and would like to employ me as your personal assistant "

"Really " I said in shock "he said all that to you" he nodded his head in response to my question "what else did he say"

"Well he did say not to get carried away and focus on what I wanted to get from you but in the end he allowed me to go with you" excitement was written all over his face. Even though I haven't known Adrian for long, it made me really happy to see him smile a genuine smile.

"I am glad that you are happy Adrian, you really need the smile "

"Thank You sir Ravi '' he said with his face red as a tomato.

"Good evening gentlemen, this is pilot Adam and we are about to land so please be seated with your seatbelt on Thank you"

"Come on sit down Adrian " I said as he was about to go to his reserved seat.

"Thank you sir Ravi"

30 minutes later, we were already out of the plane with our luggages or should I say my luggages "Adrian where is your luggage " I said confused as to why he had nothing on him

"Well I didn't really bring anything for the travel "

"And why if I may ask"

"Adam didn't really see a need"

"Adam is really getting on my nerves now" like how could you say that there is no need for some clothes or toiletries I mean how mean can a person be "come on let go to my apartment and get you something to change into before we go shopping because you are definitely not following me around with a flight attendant uniform on, ok? "

"Ok sir Ravi"

"Oh and none of that sir Ravi bullshit now come on my car is over there"

We got into the car and drove to my penthouse in my father's hotel La Rose.

"Adrian this is my father's hotel and I live in the penthouse floor "

"Wow, it's beautiful and so big.... But I thought your father is the Secretary of defense so how come did he become a hotel owner"

"You know that it's possible for him to be both right?...... besides being the Secretary doesn't stop him from owning side business, it's just that he doesn't run it by himself for now " I said

"Oh yeah sorry "

"No need to be sorry, come let's go up " I said already walking towards the building

"Welcome to my humble abode, now I know that it's already late but I think that this the best time to go shopping with you so I gonna bring you a change of clothes and then we can go out "

I went into my room to do as I said, I don't think that I have Adrian's size in the closet . I mean I am a little bit on the fat side while he is as thin as ever......... We are going to change that about him, I'm sure good food and some vitamin bags would do the trick.

"Ah ha " I say, he can wear my black skinny jeans, I haven't worn it for a long time and I think any hoodie should be good I thought, "hey Adrian this is the smallest of my clothes I could find, can you manage it or would you like something bigger " I said as I walked to the living room

"No it's ok thank you Ravi"

"You are welcome now dress up, we have to get going " I said leaving to my room to get dressed too

"Uhmmm sorry but where do I get dressed "

"Oh yeah sorry, you can use my bathroom "

We got dressed in a few minutes and were already out the door.

I still can't get my mind off the fact that Adam isn't who he says he is . I have known Adam for a very long time and he has never shown a sketchy attitude or behavior.

If I didn't eavesdrop on their conversation in the plane I wouldn't have easily believed Adrian and I kinda find it really wierd at how I easily believed Adrian's story, I haven't seen the guy in how many years and all of a sudden he shows up as my flight attendant with this crazy yet convincing story.

I can't say I don't trust him because I do but I don't think it's wise for me to do so blindly. I still have a lot of questions and I am definitely going to get answers from him.

"You don't believe me right? " he says, turning to face me.

H-How the fuck did he know about my thought, did I talk out loud..... No I doubt "how did you know "

"It's common sense actually I mean I just showed up out of nowhere and telling you my life's misery and just about making you question everything that you have been told "

"Not everything, just the ones that concern you but can you really blame me"

"I can't and I don't but I want you to know that i'm telling the truth and I do really need your help"

"Ok Adrian I take your word for it, I trust you so please don't break it "

"I wouldn't, so far you are the only person that has been nice to me since I could remember "

"Good now come on, we are here" I decided to just go to the mall for now, i'm too tired to drive to the normal stores that I usually go to "now listen Adrian, you need to stay close by I don't doubt for one second that Adam isn't watching us so please don't go far"

"Ok Ravi" he nodded.

We walked around, went to different shops, bought a lot and I mean a lot of clothes, shoes and accessories from expensive stores and now we go for the toiletries and underwear, "come on Adrian just one more thing left to get"

"Ugh I am so tired Ravi I don't think I can move my legs even if I wanted to"

"Oh stop it, don't be so dramatic " I said dragging him into another store "Adrian how about you go pick whatever soap, shampoo or conditioner or basically anything you want here, I just need to get a few things at the other end of the store "

"Ummm ok I guess "

"Don't worry I'll be right back" I am not too comfortable with Adrian knowing that I prefer wearing female underwear.

So after I paid I decide that we had done enough shopping for now and that we should probably get home now, it is almost 10 pm "alright we are going home now, do you need to eat something before we get home, I think I see a fast food drive through ahead of us"

"Ok thanks I'm good"

"Ok"

We arrived home in about 15 minutes and took out all the bags with the help of the workers in the hotel of course.

"I don't think I have enough energy to sort this all stuff but I can tomorrow, I need to get some rest and you too Adrian come on I will show you your room " I said taking him to the guest room "I have a few night shirts that you can use tonight, I will bring them to you later"

"Ok thanks" he said with a small smile on his face

It brings me an immense amount of joy to see Adrian smile, to see him smile even if it's a little one. He is a brave person even after everything he has been through, he still shows the world that he can smile........ It is amazing.

"Here, this should fit you well"

"Thanks again Ravi"

"No problem, good night "
