Ravi's POV

I literally can't believe this.

That can't be I mean it can but you know... It can't be "look Adrian I don't mean to be rude or insensitive but are you sure that it's your father that is responsible for the for those things " I just really want to know

"Yes I am sure, my father is a terrible man but that is all I can tell you right now, my time is up I need to go before Adam finds out about me being here"

no no no no no no, "no you can't just leave me like this, I need the full story and you haven't even told me me what you own Adam for the deal you made"

"Uhmmm...... About that" he said rubbing his neck, "I didn't have money to pay him so I traded myself to him for helping me find Marcus "

What "I don't understand, what do you mean Adrian " I said, eyeing him warily.

"Well you see Adam is a sex trafficker, I sold myself to him in exchange for my father"

"What the holy flying fuck!, are you serious right now "

"I am very serious sir, I would never joke with something like this "

"But But how then does it concern me "

"Sir your father is the Secretary of defense ; he can literally find anyone in the Goddamned earth and besides he was formally my father close associates also Adam says that my father was spored last week in Seattle "

"Really I mean no one has even seen him not even my father after he resigned from his office " I even though that he was dead and you wouldn't blame me because he went off grid a few months after Adrian or Alex got missing and we didn't even suspect a thing because we just thought that it was his way of mourning Alex and besides Alex was they only family we knew he had.

"Really..... but look Adam decided that I was the best to try and convince you to help us with his location "

"Ok I get that but what I don't understand is why you were surprised anytime I said thank you or something, was the genuinity real or part of the plot" I know the dead look in his eyes are real even as we speak of his past, the empty look grows more and more and I don't blame him one bit. His future was ruined by someone who was supposed to protect and guide him.

"Well umm..... Sorry about that but it was real I guess , real because I was indeed surprised and ...... I really can't remember the last time I was appreciated or just treated like a person " he said with his face all red from shame, I really don't think that he should feel ashamed.

"Adrian there is no need to feel ashamed, that is how people are to be treated... With respect "

"You are welcome but I think it's time you retire before Adam gets more suspicious than he already is. We will finish this conversation and don't worry I will find a way to get you out of this sticky situation you've got with Adam'' but first I need to talk to my dad

"Ok good night sir Ravi"

"Good night...... Wait" I just remembered something "why were you looking afraid when you came to ask me what I would like to eat before the take off"

"Oh just h-had the normal talk with Adam "

I am scared to ask what the normal talk with Adam was but my curiosity reveals "what do mean Adrian "

"Well ummm.... He tried to mm f-force himself on me again "

my God, I can't believe this.

I can't believe that Adam would do this, I have known him since I was a child. I mean my parents sometimes left me with him for a long time ; what if he had taken advantage of me huh...... God I need to speak with my father immediately, we need to help him and so help me God if I leave this plane without Adrian by my side "we will help you Andy, I will help you no matter what it takes, we will give you the justice that you deserve ok"

After Adrian left I noticed that we we're talking for about 2 hours so since we took off around 6 am in the morning and my earlier napping and spying took about an hour so that means my parents would probably be awake right now, I need to speak to dad.

After 2 miss calls he finally picks "hello dad"

"Hey son what's up, how's the flight going "

"Well dad I would say great but that's not really the issue now, dad we need to talk about Marcus Rain"

*beep* Did he just hang up on me right now? Dad never hangs up on someone even if he is angry ; something is definitely wrong and I have a feeling that dad knows more.

*ring*

Weird, my phone is not ringing and I am pretty sure that there is no other phone here........ No wait for the burner phone. I rushed to my bag to get it out and thoroughly it was ringing "h-hello" i'm so scared right now I mean I don't even know who is calling

"No need to be scared son it's me" dad said

I don't think I have ever been this happy to hear his voice "dad i'm so happy you called back, what happened dad why did you hung up on me"

"Well son I presume that that conversation was Marcus and his son Alex right "

"H-How did you know about Alex and why are we talking on the burner phone "

"Well I have been tracking Marcus' whereabouts for a long time. I didn't believe that his son was kidnapped because it sounded so far-fetched . I mean if you got missing I would raise hell to find you but Marcus...... Marcus didn't look like a desperate father who just lost his son Ravi, he looked annoyed just annoyed and that expression didn't change still he went off grid "

"And what about Alex"

"I found out that Alex years later that he was sold by his father as a sex slave"

"Oh my God, dad are you serious about this"

"Yes I am"

Well that explains why he trades himself in exchange for his father "dad, I have more information about Alex...... And Adam "

"Adam" dad said confused "what has Adam got to do with this"

"I'm not sure yet but from my source I know that Adam runs a sex trafficking organization and he is on a mission to find Marcus for..... Alex or Adrian as he is known now "

"Jesus Christ! , are you sure of this Ravi besides WHO is your source " I get why he would be shocked I mean if I found out that my drive and friend is a sex trafficker I would be surprised

"Yes dad i'm sure and my source came straight from the horse's mouth well Alex's mouth to be precise " wow this starting to get really serious "dad Alex is the flight attendant and they we're going to use me to get to you "

"What! why?, what do you get me? "

"Dad you are the Secretary of defense, Alex need you find Marcus for him and he is willing to trade the body for it"

"I know dad we need to find a way to get him to come with me, I don't think leaving him with Adam is a good idea "

"You are right and I think I have a way of getting him off that plane without Adam knowing but I have to go, I need to talk with Adam and don't worry I wouldn't be talking of the discussion we just had ok"

"Wait! Dad I just remembered that I have a recording of the conversation I had with Alex"

"Yes dad I do, I will send it to you after the call"

"No don't send it now, they are people tracking our phone call and messages that is why I called you with a burner phone "

"Ok so how do I send the recording to you"

"When You get home call me and I will instruct you on how to send it OK son" I says "oh and me and your mom left the island a few hours after you left"

"Oh really so where are you guys headed to now"

"Dubai "

Well it seems that shit just got real.
