Chapter 4 THE ENGINEER

Primotivo's POV

Loud music, people dancing and drinking greeted me, as I entered the Starry hub. I immediately went up to the 2nd floor of the bar where the idiots were.

"Hey, Engr!" I heard Gonzalo calling me, which I just nodded to him as a response. And I stepped closer to them and I sat in a position overlooking the dance floor located on the first floor of the bar.

"I thought you would never show up again, Engr.," Atty. Philip Aragon said smiling and handed me a glass of wine. I reached for it and drank it straight.

"You know, I'm busy. ACC has many projects, in and out of the country."

"Woah, Primo! It's good that you got lost here today," Damon replied jokingly and I just shrugged.

"Maybe this idiot has a problem so he made time with the gang!" Apollo commented with a laugh. Tss

"Don't make me look like you, dude!" And I just leaned on the couch I was sitting on and was silent for a while, I just listened to the stories of each of them.

"What Gonzalo? Are you happy having a mistress?" out of nowhere Apollo asked that made me frown but I still chose to just listen to them. Because they are grown up, they already know what they are doing with their lives.

I heard Gonzalo's laughter, "Happy dude, she's perfect, and great ..." he said hanging.

"On the bed?" Apollo added. And they laughed at the same time, what idiot bastards of a friend I have. I just shrugged it off and I watched Damon's behavior when he suddenly stood up.

"Where are you going?" I suddenly asked.

I noticed that the focus of his eyes was not on me. So I followed where he was looking, and there! I saw a woman, a sophisticated one, but she was wearing sunglasses. Like what the, in this dark place?

I never lost my focus on the woman and I followed her with my gaze to where she was going. She looks familiar, but I can't imagine where I saw her or if I ever met her already.

I was busy watching the beautiful woman when I just heard Damon say goodbye.

"I need to go," So I turned my attention back to him, but he was already down the stairs.

I looked at the others,

"I think that idiot saw his first love," Apollo and Philip laughed at the same time, tss.

I just shrugged and looked at Zanjo who was silent.

"Pst, you have a problem Santillan?" I asked. He just looked at me and shook his head.

I just frown in disagreement, he really looks problematic about something.

"Is it Pepper, you are thinking?" Philip asked Zanjo. He just bowed his head, meaning Philip just hit the right spot.

"I'm confused, it looks like I still love Betina ... the feeling is still there," he replied.

"Stupid, Zanjo! Are you sure about that? Think carefully first before you act," I said.

"Hays, wait, don't put me on the hot seat here, just look at our dearest Atty. Aragon. . ." We all looked at Philip and he just shrugged.

"What about me? I have no problem, I am happy with my life..." Philip immediately appealed, which made Gonzalo just smirked unknowingly.

"Happy your ass, dude! You can't even move on with your ex." Gonzalo received a punch from Philip because of what he just said, tss. They're all a mess, so sometimes I just want to be alone. I just shrugged and looked back at the dance floor, and I saw again the woman I was looking at before, she was dancing, and she's getting the crowd's attention. That even made my friends look in her direction.

"Ohhh... Avianna Alejandro!" Apollo said, so I looked at him.

So, he knows the woman. . .

"You know her?" shit! I sounded like I was interested in her. My friends looked at me, as if they were saying where in the world I was from and I didn't know the woman that everyone seemed to know.

"You don't know her, dude? The actress." I frowned, is she an actress? So I looked again at the woman's direction. Maybe she's really a famous actress based on the attention she got from the crowd around her.

"I thought of something!" Gonzalo said suddenly so we looked at him.

"Let's play a game,"

"What game is that again, dude?" Apollo asked, I just remained quietly listening to them while just staring at the dance floor, still watching her - swaying her hips in the rhythm of the music.

"Actually, it's just for Primo." I heard my name so I looked back at Gonzalo. And smiling, he just looked at me too.

"And why did I hear my name?" I replied with a frown but he just playfully smirked.

"Don't you want to get the project proposal for the new hotel I'm going to build?" he suddenly asked, so he kind of got my full attention there.

"And?"

"I will give it to you, Engr." It's just a simple statement coming from him that makes me smirk too.

"What in return?" I asked, I know Gonzalo too well. He has no friends when it comes to business. So all his proposals have a replacement, and I am willing to take it, whatever it is, because big money will come into me when I get Gonzalo's project proposal, when it happens.

"You really know me, Engr. Well, it's just simple,"

I just looked at him and said, "Drop it."

Silence filled our area, until. . .

"Have sex with Avianna Alejandro, with a video of course!" He said, like it is the most simple thing to do on earth, seriously? I looked again at the woman's direction.

A night -- just a night with her?

I stood up. I drank and emptied the wine in my glass and looked at Gonzalo.

"Ready the contract," I said seriously and turned my back on them.

I even heard Apollo say, "Fuck? You really wanna do it, dude?"

And I just answered him with a grin -
