Chapter 4 Episode 3

Hey! Meggy why are you just standing there like that come over Jace said to meg who was looking very pretty but yet simple. As she was putting on a short flaw white gown designed with red colored flowers, she wore it with a black simple jacket with a black flat shoe. Jace went forward to meet her and held her hand and brought her to seat down. Wow! Jay I wasn't expecting this it really beautiful Meg said smiling. so, you like it? Jace asked with a big smile on his face.

A picnic during sunset on the beach and close to the palm tree and with sound of the fresh air and ocean, its lovely and you ask if I like it, I love it! she said excited as they both smiled. You look really pretty Jace said to her as she smiled saying thanks my sister gave the dress to me saying it suits me and she wants me to have it and I also like it the flower design and the color just makes a perfect pair she said smiling. Yeah, just like you and me Jace replied to what she said in his mind. Hey did you say something? Meg asked. me ... no, I didn't, he said admiring her. You know, Meggy your sister is right the dress really suits you. Your sister made the right choice by giving it to you he said smiling. wow you are good at charming girls aren't you Meg said jokingly. well, can you blame me when my bro was an expert before marriage he said as they both laughed.

They both ate snacks from the picnic basket and was enjoying the sunset view. Mmm .... tell me something am I here just to eat and receive compliments or you would explain what had happen to me why you had to leave without telling me and not picking my calls or replying to my messages and why your phone was switched off this morning till now Meg asked waiting patiently for answers to her question as she was someone who was not only sweet and nice but also patient. Well first I would say that am sorry for leaving without telling you and my phone had spoilt it in repairs now. Apology accepted, one question answered and one is still left to be answered Meg said to him hoping he would answer and not ruin the moment. Ok .... well, and I want the truth she said interrupting him. yeah, sure I would be truthful this time around he said as he thought to himself if he should really tell her the real truth or not. Well, when I saw you and Lucas together, I felt a bit jealous Jace said with a sincere heart. Jealous! why? Meg asked. It finally time for me to tell her the truth about my feeling and I would do it boldly and I won't think twice in fact this is the right moment so am telling her. Jay! are you still here? Meg called out interrupting Jace thought. You said you felt Jealous seeing me and Lucas together why is that? she asked again then she remember what her sister had told her and felt oh, please I shouldn't be thinking of what sis Mathilda had said earlier she thought and smiled. Well, ............ I thought you guys been together would ruin our friendship so I got angry and left Jace said as he chickened out not ready to express his feelings. Meg stood up and sat close to him held his hand and said we would be best friends forever no matter the circumstance so you should never feel jealous Cuz I won't feel jealous if I see with anyone as I know you still be mine, she said to him with a comforting smile and you know Lucas is great guy and a good surfer just like you she added. Hmm .... okay I hear you Jace not sounding satisfied with how Meg was praising him. promise you get to know him at least for my sake Meg said sweetly. yeah, sure I would Jace replied. So, wait! if you see me with a cute pretty girl, you won't be jealous, he asked Meg. yeah, I won't be. ohh ...... I see what you were hiding from me now Meg said giving him a suspicious smile with her eyes widely opened as she was getting close to him to make him uncomfortable so that he can tell her what he was hiding. Wait! what are you thinking of? Jace asked as he was slidingly trying to stand up from the picnic mat with his back as he was bending and was curious to know if they were on same page or not. Come on, tell me who she is? Meg asked happily, getting really close to Jace with a creepy smile. I don't know what you are talking about Jace said denying as he bent down further trying to staying away from her but she kept on getting closer to him. Hey what if I don't want to say Jace said trying to get her off his back which was funny has she in front of him not at his back. Oh, come on do you think I would go anywhere without the truth feather, Meg said smiling as she brought out a white small thin feather from her jacket pocket. Its truth time she said tickling him. So, speak up or else I would feather you harder she said laughing then Jace brought his own truth feather out of his jean pocket and he tickled her as they both fell on the picnic mat and tickled each other. Meggy the feather girl hope you are enjoying been feathered Jace said as they both laughed at each other's childishness and laid down flat then, looked up to the sky admiring the view and looking at the stars. Wow! look at that star it so small but shinny and yet beautiful Meg said to Jace smiling excitedly. Jace, are you looking at it? Meg asks Jace who was lost looking at meg's beauty. Jace! Meg said shaking him trying to get his attention. Em ... yeah! yes! Jace said confused of what to reply her as he got back to reality. Why are you laughing? Jace asked Meg. Is it wrong to laugh? Meg asked back using question to answer his question. It not wrong but you are laughing like it me you are laughing at and it when I know what you are laughing about that I can laugh along Jace pointed out. Well, I know you are thinking about her and funny thing is, you look cute thinking about her Meg said smiling. so, you are reading my mind now he said jokingly as meg smiles. So, I was right. At least tell me something about her, Meg said to Jace.

Hmmm ...... Jace took a deep breath as he sat down up right and Meg does same ready to hear what Jace had to say. I don't even know where to start I mean should I talk about her splendid never-ending beauty or her smooth skin, or is it that wonderful smile that Lights up the room or her sweet voice? She amazing as well as unique she has her own stand, she fights for what is right, she is patient, she is sweet, she is cool and awesome I don't think there is a girl compared to her she is one in a trillion her difference makes many jealous of she cares less of what the world thinks of her she just does things that makes her and those around her happy Jace said as he was lost in his thought. Mr. Jay Meg said snapping her finger trying to bring him back to reality. So, who is this angel you speak of? have you asked her out? Meg asked. Well .... I .... Jace said stammering. You know Mr. Jay you are so funny I can't believe you have not asked her out yet any ways when are you planning to ask her out? Meg asked. I don't know yet Jace replied in a down tune. Meg smiled and held his and said, "you speak of her sweetly and more importantly from your heart so you should ask her out before it too late Cuz anyone that make you this happy should be yours".

Oh, no my mom as called me we should start going time has gone am sure she is calling to ask where I am Meg said worriedly as she and Jace packed up the picnic things. I would drop you off at home Jace said has he opened the car door for Meg to enter. Thanks for the lovely evening it was amazing. It a memory not to be forgotten Meg said to Jace smiling. well, that is the list I can do to make you smile so that in the future you won't say I didn't do my best Jace said playfully to Meg. What! I won't do that I would have still forgiven you if you had just explained what had happen to me Meg pointed out. Oh, so I should have not planned this beautiful surprise that made you smile right? he asked jokingly as they both laughed a bit. you know, Jay thanks I really had a blast she said as looked at Jace and smiled then there was silence in the car. Jace looked at Meg who was smiling and asking what are you thinking of? You! she replied as this brought a big smile on Jace face. Me, why me? Jace asked blushingly. well, yes, I was thinking of you I can't believe you also go everywhere with your own truth feather Meg said smiling. Why not. since you don't forget why would I Jace in a flattering manner. So, it means you still remember where and how we got it she asked looking at the truth feather. The car stopped Meg look out the window and realized she was home already but she wasn't ready to go in yet. I can't forget that Jace said. We got it when we first went to camp together and had a fight. yeah, Cuz you were upset thinking that I took your spear chocolate bar that you wanted but of us to share later that day Meg said completing Jace sentence. Then you said you weren't the one that carried but I didn't believe then you got angry that I didn't trust what you said that you said maybe I was the that took and you are forcedly accusing me then you left the tent and said you won't be sleeping in the tent with me again Jace said. Yeah, I was so sad that I went to seat alone on the log in front of the camp fire then the camp counselor saw and asked what happened I told her everything then she called you out and gave us a feather and said that it was truth feather Meg said smiling. then she said we would use it to tickle each other that whoever laughs hard enough would spill the truth Cuz the person won't be able to resist it and then she asked me to go first. You tickled me and I laughed so hard that couldn't resist it and then I wasn't the who took the chocolate bar and then I was next to tickle you. Smiles, yes, I remembered I laughed so hard and pied on my body as I kept on saying I didn't eat that was meant for us to share Jace said as they both laughed. At the end we figured out the it was Sarah and her friend that had took the chocolate bar and shared it between themselves Meg added as they both laughed at their childhood past.
