Episode 2

Christine's POV

Oh thank God!!. My sister has finally woken up .

"Chrystal!" I beamed with a small laugh. She smiled back and I helped her sit up.

"How are you?" I asked with beaming smiles on my face.

I helped her sit properly and sat next to her.

"I'm fine" She replied feebly.

"Oh Chrystal.. it seems the medicine actually worked" I said and caressed her hair . That means we won't have to take her to the hospital.

The door opened and Amelia walked in.

"Chrystal!" She shouted and ran to hug her on the bed. Everyone would be happy because hospital is of limits now.

"Are you okay?" Amelia asked and she nodded with a smile.

"Why are you both worried? . I'm fine.. I'm okay" She said loudly.

Huh?? Such speedy recovery. I and Amelia glanced at each other. She just woke up and already gathered enough strength to talk.

Well I guess the power house is back!

"Chrystal shut up! The more you talk, the more you burn energy and that's something you don't have" I said and she looked at me .

"What?" I asked.

She jumped down from the bed and I gasped.

"Chrystal!" I called shocked.

"I'm fine okay?" She said with a frown.

"So much energy!" Amelia remarked.

"Chrystal... you need to stop with this carefree attitude. It's not helping anyone" Christine said with authority.

"Ok ma'am" Chrystal replied mockingly.

She looked at us and walked out of the room.

"Chry...." I almost called.

"Just let her be. We all understand" Amelia said and walked out of the room... I sighed as I stood akimbo.

She didn't even give me a chance to tell her that I was going for a job interview tomorrow.

"Why is she so arrogant... This morning has been hectic!" I said to myself and started cleaning up the bedroom.

we were all seated in the parlour and everyone looked moody.

"C'mon guys" I said sadly.

"I'm so hungry!" Prisca moaned with a cry.

"You guys.. where's Jerome?" I asked.

"Oh... he's been out" Amelia answered.

The door opened with force and we all jumped from our seats in fright.

"Hey guys!" He sang as he displayed some dance moves.

"I'll forget about my heart attack and think about this news" Prisca said excited and flaunted some dance moves.

She's really a case ... she was hungry a few minutes ago.

"What's the occasion? Did we miss something?" Chrystal asked surprised.

"Well.. I just got a job!!!" He said joyously and we all screamed.

"Really?"

"Congrats" I wished him.

"So how do we celebrate?" Amelia asked .

"You all get ready.. you know that restaurant that just opened about four streets from here. I'll take you all there" He said and that was the happiest thing I heard since morning.

"Finally!!... Food!!" Prisca yawned.

"Red Chillies" I shouted!

That was the name of the restaurant.

Everyone moved into their rooms to change into something fancy only Chrystal didn't move.

"Hey sis" I said sitting next to her on the couch.

"Aren't you coming?" I asked in a very mild tone.

"Yeah sure, Let me go get ready" She replied not really interested in the idea.

Time flew like the wind and we finally got there.

Royce's POV

"Really guys! Red Chillies?!" I said out of disappointment.

"Out of all other restaurants" I added under my breath.

"C'mon dude! Why behave high class all the time?" Sammy asked.

"Yeah! I mean, this restaurant is also famous for it's good and delicious recipes" Maya added.

We alighted from the car and walked straight pass the door . We took our seats on a table for three.

The waiter came with the menu card and he took our orders. we were waiting for our food when heard a girl screamed.

All attention was drawn to her and her friends. We didn't seat too far from their table so I watched all the drama perfectly well. It just happened that a waiter spilled juice on her.

"Can't you do your job properly without any mistakes?" She barked at the waiter who was already drowned in fear.

He kept on ranting and ranting and all the poor waiter could do was to apologize. Even her friends tried to calm her down but all to no avail.

"Where's the restroom?" She asked.

"It's right there madam" The waiter replied sadly.

I looked away as what happened didn't seem to interest me anymore.

"Poor waiter" Sammy said.

I looked there again and saw her walking towards our direction.. I looked away but I just couldn't stop myself from looking back.

She was extraordinarily beautiful. Her face, hair, eyes .. everything drew my attention.

I stared at her as she walked pass us.

Maya snapped her fingers and I came out of it.

"What are you looking at?" She asked.

"Excuse me!"

Chrystal's POV

I can't believe that stupid waiter .I am not in a good mood today and he just had to add to my problems. I took a towel and used it to clean my dress.

I could see everywhere in the toilet through the mirror and immediately I sighted a guy staring at me from the door ,I turned and didn't see him there again.

Royce's POV

"Oh my God! She saw me!" I thought to myself heading for my table.

I got there and our food had being served. I took my seat and started eating.

I looked towards the restroom and immediately our eyes met from afar. She walked gracefully like a God to my table.

"Yes how many we help you" Sammy asked.

"Why were you staring at me in the restroom?" She asked facing me directly. She totally snubbed Sammy.

I stood up and scoffed.

"And why will I be staring at you?" I retorted.

"Do not answer my question with a question" She immediately replied.

"Why?" I asked.

She ranted and ranted.. I got lost staring into her big black eyes and I took the opportunity to stare at her. I got to her tummy.. she had a tattoo next to her belly button which could be clearly seen because of the triangular shape cut on her dress around her tummy.

"Hey!" She snapped and I came back from my wild thoughts.

I brought out my phone and payed all attention to it as she continued ranting. She snatched it from my palms ... I took out another phone from my pocket and she snatched it again... Then I took out another phone from pocket .. and she had this crazy confused look on.

Yeah!! She's not the only one that's stubborn. If you live with my mom, you gotta learn tricks!

"How many phones do you have?" She asked agape.

"More than I can count" I said as I signalled Maya to stand up.

"My phones pls or would you like to have them?" I asked and she returned them in a flash.

"You can have it.. I don't take things that aren't mine" She replied and I smiled

"Okay"

I signalled Sammy to pay for the food.. held Maya by the waist .. I turned to leave but I stopped. I stood in opposite direction to her and whispered in her ear "You look cute when you're angry DD"

I walked away... then stopped and looked back again when I got to the door . She gave a fuck you sign.

I guess that's her reply!!.. Ha!
