Chapter 5 Prom

Bellamy's POV

The itch in my palms was growing uncomfortably, so I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. Thank goddess the bathroom was empty. Nobody would see me sulking about this night. Don't really know how it can get any worse.

Just as I was in the middle of drying my hands, I heard the door open and close, then the lock clicking. I felt chills down my spine and sensed something off in the atmosphere. I picked to my side to check who entered and to my surprise.

"Hello little she-wolf" Eric then emerged from the hollow entryway with a devilish smirk on his face.

I gave him no attention. "Leave me alone." I walked backward distancing myself from him.

"Why are you scared? I'm not gonna hurt you." His voice was low and his eyes filled with lust.

"I'm just minding my own business here. I don't want to offend anyone." I said with a low tone. I know I tried to stall him before someone eventually enters the bathroom.

"You should've thought of that 3 years ago before snitching on me and my friends. I guess tonight's a little payback. Be a good girl and we can both have a good time" His devilish voice said. I then threw the handwashing liquid to his eyes and tried to hide in the cubicle but he yanked my hair as he pulled me out of the cubicle. I fell and hit my head on the sink. Good thing it wasn't that hard but I did felt a little dizzy.

If I let my wolf out, I'm afraid she wouldn't match with his and the bathroom would turn into a murder scene.

"You bitch! Playing hard to get. I'm gonna do you real rough tonight." He said as he took off his tie and unbuckle his pants.

"In your fucking dreams! Leave me alone or I'll report you!"

He then leaned forward and slapped me.

"That's all your fucking good at. Snitching" He then got me up and leaned in to kiss my neck but I yanked him hard and it made me lose balance falling on the floor. Now he was angrier.

Just I was about to lose hope, a thud was heard from the door.

'Oh thank goddess' I said to myself someone's here to save me. After three tries the door finally broke open. But to my surprise, it was someone worst.

Luka's POV

"What are you doing here man?" I inquired. I looked at Bellamy frightened on the floor her hair disheveled and her sleeves down her shoulders.

"This bitch here knows how to fight!" Eric spat. "Come on Luka! It's time for payback. Just can't wait to taste that soft skin." He said with a perverted grin. His words were causing my ears to turn red if he utters one more word I'd probably lose it.

I wanted to hold Bellamy but I was too filled with pride. She looked like a puppy but I saw no tears in her eyes.

"Go back inside Eric! I told you to leave her alone." I ordered with my Alpha tone.

Eric's head bowed.

"What? Having a soft spot for her now? Don't forget how she snitched on us 3 years ago" I widened my eyes and didn't say a word.

"Eric say one more word and I'll snap your neck." I threatened and he left with his eyes spitting at me. I never took my eyes off Bellamy. She looks so beautiful even in pain.

'Mate is hurt. I must comfort her'

Before I could take over, Leto walked over and reached out my hand to help Bellamy up and fixed her hair. I helped her fix her dress but she moved back, looking at me curiously. Just before she can open her mouth I walked out.

'You shouldn't have done that!' I scolded Leto.

'What you were the one fixing her hair and looking at her. I only helped her up'

BELLAMY'S POV

3 years ago? What did I do 3 years ago? I was puzzled as I saw Luka left the restroom. Thank goddess he came in. Even if he's literally the last person I want to see in this world. I didn't even thank him. Well, I didn't think I have to since he is still an ass and a sadistic son of a gun.

After being harassed by 2 jackasses tonight, I lost my mood and decided to leave. This night won't get any worst? would it? I exited the restroom and walked but halted when someone called.

"Hey, Cross!" I turned and saw Luka seductively said. If only he was a good guy then I'd probably be kissing him right now.

"Thank you. I don't know what I'd do if you did----"

"I didn't do it for you." He said cutting me off and walked back into the gymnasium.

I then slowly went back to get my things and say my goodbyes to Macy. I saw her on the dance floor enjoying herself with Billy. or was it, Joe? I don't know, her boyfriend for this month. She said this one is different and she was positive he was her mate. But I roll my eyes at that thought.

As I was fixing my stuff the event masters announced.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we are not about to announce this years prom king and queen!" I didn't care much and stood up walking straight to the exit.

"And this years prom king is..... Luka White!"

As I was about to leave.

"And you prom queen is.... Bellamy Cross!"

I dropped my bag and stared at the host. My heart went pounding and my eyes widened like baseballs. You've got to be kidding me.

Everyone's eyes were on me. The teachers then escorted me from the spot I froze in, to the stage beside Luka as they put on plastic crowns on our heads.

I actually can't believe Luka would be up to this. This really looks so cheesy and it wasn't in his character to participate in these types of events. Ellie and her gang weren't too ecstatic as well. I know for a fact that they'd be giving me a hard time for this.

"Ladies and gentlemen our prom kind and queen. Luka White and Bellamy Cross. You may now take on the dance floor."

I couldn't believe everything that has transpired. Luka then held his hand and led me to the dance floor. I wanted to leave but I was too embarrassed to cause a show, and Luka was surprisingly participating so I just went along.

We danced and I could honestly say it felt pleasant. His rough hands felt gentle on my palms. His hand on my waist felt comforting. And his frowning eyes were awkwardly fixed on mine. He was treating me like a mate, filled with gentleness. I can't fall for this he's probably tricking me again. Don't fall for it, Bellamy. This guy is a sadist.

As the crowd gathered back to the dance floor I stared at him before finally growing exasperated. I broke off our contact and finally succeeded in exiting/

"These are things you watch on chick flix not in real life. This is nothing but a stupid corny cheesy joke." I mumbled to myself as I went out and walked. Since Evan drove me here I actually had no ride since he left. I couldn't call home since dad is on the night shift, while Noah is at her girlfriend's. So I started taking off my heels and walked.
