Chapter 1 In the human reign

CHAPTER 1

BACK IN TIME before the blood moon.

The alpha on a night walk on the royal castle with his only son Miles.

"Son do you know why this castle was built" Jaxo the Alpha of Polatan kingdom asked as he placed Miles his only son on his shoulders.

"No father" Miles replied in his tiny voice.

"Son if someday am no more and you wanna escape from death,you must come to this castle on the full blood moon" Jaxo advised in a low tone.

"Father what's the blood moon? Why don't we see the blood moon everyday" Miles asked curiously.

"The blood moon only appears when something dangerous is about to happen to the Alpha or the next heir. Our kingdom have been saved from evil,we no longer see the blood moon. This castle was built to block the blood moon from taking our pack into another strange world" Jaxo explained and his servant came to him.

"Supreme, princess Luna is seeking for your presence" His servant delivered.

"Let Luna in" Jaxo permitted with a little smile.

"Father,I feel princess Luna doesn't like me" Miles pouted and Luna came into the castle, Miles immediately hide behind his father.

"Jaxo we need to talk" Luna said with a mean look as she glared at Miles.

"Princess Luna where are your matters? Yes am your brother but am still the alpha"Jaxo reminded.

"Sorry your majesty but can we talk in private,I mean alone" Luna said sarcastically.

"We can talk here. Miles isn't an outsider and he needs to start learning the basic of being a ruler" Jaxo uttered.

"That's my point exactly. Miles isn't he too young to be your heir" Luna said and Jaxo gave her a curious look.

"What do you mean by that Luna? You know very well that if I die today, Miles is old enough to be on the throne so stop being delusional" Jaxo protested.

"Supreme you can't keep on putting a blind eye on so many things and you know exactly what am talking about. Don't you think it's time you pay your debt " Luna yelled.

"Miles can you leave us for a moment. Father has to discuss some serious business with princess Luna" Jaxo said to Miles.

"OK father" Miles obeyed and went to the top of the castle.

Suddenly the full blood moon appeared and Miles eyes went wide open immediately he recalled what his father told him about the blood moon then he ran back to his father,only to see Jaxo in his last breath.

"Miles this no safe place for you. You need to leave before the blood moon disappears" Jaxo said faintly as blood gushed out of his mouth.

"Miles!!!" Luna yelled as she got to the top of the castle from the other side.

"Father,what happened" Miles asked already in tears staring at his dying father.

"No I don't want to" Miles protested in tears.

"Do it now" Jaxo commanded with his last breath and slowly Miles raised his arms to the blood moon. When you're ready, don't forget to return. I know you will do the right thing son" Jaxo said faintly as Miles disappeared into the blood moon and he closed his eyes slowly.

"Miles.... My trinity" Luna yelled frustratedly as the blood moon disappeared.

BACK TO PRESENT...

Twelve years after Miles disappeared into the full blood moon appearing in the human reign.

"I want everything on this rack and all your latest designer outfits" Miles said to a manager in a shopping mall.

"Miles don't you think it's too much" Ivy said flabbergasted.

"Do you still think am not worthy being your boyfriend" Miles asked with a sexy smile.

"Miles,I think Ivy is right. This is a bit too much. Are you trying to be her boyfriend or just to impress her" Mason asked sarcastically.

"What! Be whose boyfriend? Are you fucking kidding me" Miles mocked.

"What do you mean by that" Mason asked confused.

"Ivy rejected me for good three freaking times and you expect me to go out with her after spoiling her with my money" Miles sneered.

"What do you mean by that Miles" Ivy asked a bit hurt by his words.

"Ivy am sorry to hurt your feelings but I don't date girls who accepts me after playing hard to get just because I spent money on them" Miles said coldly.

"Mason help Ivy with all the things I got her. I will head to the office now" Miles said and left for the elevator.

"Was it necessary for Miles to hurt girls feelings like this" Ivy said almost in tears.

"You got it all wrong dear. Miles don't like girls who play hard to get and unfortunately you happened to be one of them" Mason said.

"If he was no longer Interested in going out with me,why did he allow me to have lingering feelings. Just because he's rich,he thinks he can buy anybody's soul" Ivy cursed.

"You've missed this chance already so just move on with life dear" Mason added sarcastically as he helped Ivy with some of the shopping bags.

Miles got to his huge company where low ranking employees barely see him, whenever people hear of Miles,they feel like they have seen a demigod. I would say some people even worship Miles because of his wealth. He's every girl's dream guy that's why he plays around with girls feelings.

Miles is 22years old but he owns a huge company,Mega estate. When Miles first arrived in the human world,he started with selling plastic bottles and he had the trinity powers of wealth so whatever he did or works on riches always makes a way out of it.

MILES POV

"Good day sir" Some employees greeted as I walked to my office.

"Sir,what should I do with all this gifts" Ariana my secretary asked with a serious look.

Ariana is the only girl Or lady who doesn't smile or speaks informally to me. I would say she's the only lady who doesn't have a crush on me.

"Give them out to those who are interested. Why do they keep bringing me gifts like I can't get those things for myself" I complained staring at the gifts with grimace but one particular gift card drew my attention.

"Stay away from Ivy you brat,stinky brat" Someone wrote on one of the gift cards.

"Ariana who brought this gift card" I asked curiously pointing at the warning card.

"Oh! A very beautiful snobbish young lady, dropped it by and she told me to give you this" Ariana said and gave me her middle finger, that's a fuck you sign.

"Security,how did you allow such a hater anywhere close to my office. Everyone seem to be forgetting their duty" I yelled seriously.

"Boss we would get down to it immediately" The bodyguards behind me chipped in.

"You better do something before I lose my cool" I forewarned and walked into my office angrily.

"I can't believe that person got the nerve" I cursed and sat down seriously.

"Boss your phone is ringing" One of the guards reminded.

"Hello Mason, what's up" I asked over the phone.

"Miles you won't believe what's going on here right now. Ivy's roomie is really creating a scene here at the female's dormitory" Mason explained.

"What do you mean by Ivy's roomie? Who's Ivy's roomie? What does her roomie got to do with you" I asked confused.

"Ivy's roomie her name is Zoe. Zoe is standing out for her friend,she's refusing Ivy from accepting the gifts you got her. She's upset because you feel you can buy her friend" Mason added.

"What the hell! Can this day get any worse" I cursed frustratedly as I bite my lips.

"I will be there in a minute. But what's her issue? It's not like I bought the things for her,I bought them for Ivy. Anyways I'm on my way, someone needs to knock some sense into stubborn girls like Zoe" I protested and I head for the elevator.

I got to Carson university then drove to the female hostel.

"She's really causing a scene. Who does she think she is" I scoffed as I got down from my car but suddenly I felt a familiar feeling.

What's this feeling? Why do I have the feeling a werewolf is here? I muttered in my mind looking around.
