Chapter 3 Commander Obet

CHAPTER 3

ZOE POV

If I want to get the trinity,I have to work closer to who has it. I muttered in my mind staring at Miles whose attention was on his phone.

"Mason Larry, Ivy Mark, Zoe White, you three have been selected to work as interns in Mega estate" The director announced with a smile.

"Only few people gets to enter Mega estate so you three are sure lucky students"

"How's that lucky,we weren't even selected..." Some students protested with a frown.

"Zoe we got selected!" Ivy shouted excitedly as she hugged me.

POLATAN KINGDOM

Luna was seated on the throne with her chief adviser Oliver and chief general Kevin standing infront of her with serious looks on their faces.

LUNA POV

"Supreme, your full coronation to the throne is been delayed because you don't have the trinity" Oliver said worriedly.

"Princess what's your plan on getting it back? We don't even know if Miles is still alive" Kevin added.

"Selene would do her job as my loyal daughter. If I don't get the trinity anytime sooner,I won't last long on the throne" I said almost in a whisper.

"Who's there" Kevin shouted as he quickly ran to window the person was eavesdropping then brought him out.

"What do you want to hear? I can tell you personally but after that,you would go tell that to your ancestors" I smirked.

"Please forgive me Supreme" He pleaded on his knees.

Kevin chopped off his head immediately he begged for forgiveness.

"As I was saying...."

"Princess you put so much hope on Selene. Selene would find out the truth about her identity one day" Oliver forewarned.

"Before she finds out,I must have been done with her already. Selene is my wolf and a royal wolf as it stands so I'm not leaving any stone unturned. I just have to make sure Miles isn't breathing and that's how I get the trinity back" I exclaimed.

"The trinity is refusing to come back to you because it needs something in return" Oliver said.

"It's refusing to come back because the Alpha isn't dead" I smirked lost in thought.

AUTHOR'S POV

Somewhere far away from the castle lives the far cousin of Jaxo named Obet. Obet is the commander of the polatan warriors, without his command no warrior would go to war and that's why he's a big threat to Luna ascending on the throne and becoming the next Alpha.

"I would have listened to the late Alpha and stayed back. He entrusted me with his safety" Obet wept.

" Commander we can still protect the throne. Without our approval, Luna can't become the Alpha" Kelly chipped in.

Kelly is the second in command.

"She's really getting her way. Luna is been called the supreme that means she would be crowned the alpha soon" Masho said seriously.

Masho is Obet's best friend and chief adviser.

"It's been twelve years now the supreme young lord went missing and Luna hasn't ascended the throne yet so I think there's something missing that's why her coronation haven't been completed" Obet smirked.

"We just need to find out what's missing in her coronation rituals" Kelly added.

"No need to rush. She won't survive much longer if she insist to be on the throne, except she chooses to use the bloodshed rituals" Obet said almost in a whisper as they all looked at each other in shock.

Bloodshed rituals is when the blood of a royal wolf and the blood of a werewolf are used in place of the trinity which causes chaos and bloodshed amongst fellow wolves. The trinity runs in the blood of the Alpha,the trinity is the reason the Alpha is the strongest and most powerful wolf among his packs.

"Commander I think we should put our plan into actions. Let's look for the supreme young lord. He needs to take his place,he would be the only threat to dethrone Luna" Masho advised.

"He has been away for good twelve years. He lived almost all his life in the human reign,it won't be easy convincing him to come back. It's very chaotic here it won't be easy" Obet uttered in thought.

"The late supreme knew this would happen that's why he surrendered so easily to Luna" Kelly said.

"How do you mean? You sound like you know something" Obet asked staring at him.

"Sorry I couldn't tell you but I was there when Luna murdered the Alpha" Kelly said in a low tone.

"What? But Kelly why didn't you safe my cousin. He needed someone to rescue him then but why didn't you do anything" Obet asked seriously.

"Let's listen to what he has to say" Masho chipped in.

"I vividly remember the supreme lord signaled me not to get involved. He told me in sign language to go look for Mason before I would come back,he was dead already I just sent Mason to the human reign as the Alpha instructed before he died" Kelly narrated.

"What was Jaxo thinking? He was the most powerful werewolf in Polatan yet he allowed Luna kill him. He left we all in chaos. How are we supposed to get through this without the supreme young lord" Obet said frustratedly.

"We can still win this war" Masho chipped in with a smirk.

"Obet do you think we should try seducing Miles into coming back to Polatan" Kelly suggested with a silly smile.

"What's with your smile? Sounds like you have a naughty idea" Obet joked.

"Masho your daughter have always had a crush on Miles right" Kelly said smiling.

"What are you implying? Oh no Kelly don't bring Melissa into this" Masho chipped in quickly.

"Wait a minute.... That sounds like a good idea. It's not like we can drag the supreme lord back here. Melissa can just frustrate him back here" Masho added laughing.

"What do you mean by frustrate? I thought Miles is Melissa's first love" Obet asked confused and Masho laughed.

FLASHBACK *** Twelve years ago.

Miles was practicing his powers on how to disappear in a few seconds when he disappeared into Melissa's bedroom.

"Ahhhhh!" Melissa screamed as she saw Miles in her room. She kicked him hard at his stomach and he fell to ground. She grabbed his hair hard and gave him a heavy punch.

"Melissa!" Miles winced as he had a bleeding nose.

"What kind of a girl are you" Miles screamed frustratedly and Masho came into the room.

"Miles is everything ok" Masho asked smiling as he noticed the intense look on their faces. *** FLASHBACK ends.

"I'm pretty sure this will work" Masho giggled.
