Chapter 5 Melissa's

CHAPTER 5

MASON POV

I went after Miles as he left the guest room. I still can't believe Miles isn't been cautious about Zoe but he said it himself that Zoe looks suspicious so what's going on right now.

"Miles we need to talk" I said seriously as I stood infront of him.

"Mason if it's about Zoe,am not ready for that. We will talk about it later" Miles said sluggishly.

"What!" I laughed flabbergasted.

"OK fine,what do you want to talk about" He asked staring at me.

"Zoe is just your damn assistant,is there any need for you to let her stay a minute under your roof"I asked seriously.

"It's getting late,am pretty sure you don't wanna see me transform here right. The sun is about to set, let's go. We can't afford to make any mistakes" Miles instructed and we head for the attic.

Immediately we got into the attic, Miles transformed into a gray wolf. I also transformed into an ash wolf. We both ran around in the attic that was built in a size of a field.

"Owoooo" Miles howled at the window staring at the full moon.

I growled at the sound of someone heading to the attic.

Miles devoured the huge roasted antelope at the other side of the attic,we fought for the last bite.

When Miles transforms,he usually doesn't be his normal self. Immediately he becomes a wolf, everyone becomes his enemy. He devours any human or animal he comes across that's why this attic was built far away from humans reach and it's a soundproof and the door is made with big chains.

When it's full moon Miles don't transform back to human easily, unlike me I can transform into a werewolf very easily and anytime.

I wish I would be able to hold Miles a little longer on the human reign for him to get fully prepared about fighting for the throne. The late Alpha lost the fight for the throne with his sister which took his life,will Miles be able to fight Luna. But it's time he goes back home, he's transforming into a wolf and am afraid in the next full moon,he wouldn't transform into a human.

ZOE POV

I was laying on the bed but suddenly I felt like my tail was out.

How's that possible. I thought in my mind confused.

"Excuse me, please can you all leave the room. I would like to be alone at moment" I instructed.

"Alright miss" They chorused and left the room.

I ran to the bathroom and immediately I transformed into a white wolf.

But I have the invisible spell. It's not yet time for my gene to be visible. What's going on? And why did I transform into a white wolf. These are the trait of a royal bloodline.

I growled at the sound of a werewolf heading to the room I was.

I transformed back into a human and came out of the bathroom.

"Excuse you" I said to a young lady that was staring at the bed I was laying and she turned around.

"Who are you" She asked rudely glaring at me.

"My name is Zoe,am Miles assistant" I introduced myself and she stared at me from my head to my toe.

"Where are your manners? How dare you call your big boss by his name and don't you think it's getting pretty late so you should get going. You can't be shameless enough to spend the night at a guy's house right" She asked obviously belittling me.

"Sorry about that,I would get going now" I uttered and picked up my purse.

"You sound so rude" I murmured.

"Sorry were you referring to me" She asked glaring at me.

Why do people in this building acts so arrogant and cautious. Anyways my work here is done so I don't mind leaving. I just have to wait for the spell to act up. I muttered in my head with a smirk.

AUTHOR'S POV

Zoe left Miles mansion,she tried asking of Miles but all the maids kept telling her, Miles went to visit an important guest so he's not home.

Mason appeared out from the attic and saw a she-wolf loitering around with this fighting glare in her eyes. They looked at each other for a while and they both bounced on each other as they tried to bite their muzzle.

Suddenly Mason noticed the she-wolf fought like him. They both had the same fighting skills. He stepped backwards and transformed into a human.

"Melissa..." Mason called out not too sure if she was the one but she also transformed back into a human.

"Mason.." She called out surprisingly.

"Yes it's me, it's me Mason" Mason said excitedly grinning as he ran into her embrace.

"Mason you're all grown up... I can't believe you're with me right now" Melissa said excitedly almost in tears as they broke the hug.

"You're looking more gorgeous than I expected" Mason teased and she pinched him.

"Ouch... That hurts" Mason winced jovially.

Miles, Mason and Melissa were known to be the three M in Polatan pack. They trained together when they were little and that's why Melissa and Mason had same fighting skills.

They were three best friends although Miles gets irritated by Melissa's clumsiness,she was clumsy because she had feelings for Miles.

"I missed you so much Melissa" Mason uttered cutely as he placed his face on her shoulder.

"You have no idea how happy I was when father said I should come to the human reign to search for both you and Miles"

"But how did you find us" Mason asked curiously.

"At first it was hard but the Alpha always got his strong aura and that lead me to this place. I got to this place,it wasn't hard being in control" Melissa said with a silly smile.

"Don't tell me you came here with your powers" Mason uttered in surprise.

"Father told me not to come with it but I couldn't. I'm here now so we would protect Miles together. And about that, Miles needs to go back to Polatan,his coronation has been pending for too long so it's transforming him into a wolf" Melissa explained.

"I suspected something was wrong but you just got here,how did you find out all this" Mason asked curiously.

"It's appearing at the inner chambers of the Alpha and again Luna knows Miles is alive and am pretty sure she has someone here monitoring Miles,I think Miles life is in danger" Melissa said anxiously.

"It has really been a while Melissa, don't worry Miles is alright. He can't just be the supreme lord if he can't protect himself" Mason said with a smile.
