Chapter 5 PART FOUR

DAY FIVE

THE ABANDONED POLICE STATION

'Right guys we're heading off to the outskirts of Ghostly Hill, in hope that we find more remains like we did yesterday.'

They all walked away from the camp site and headed through the forest coming to a clearing not fat from the cemetery. The other side of the dusted land which looked a lot like sand, and clay mixed, instead of the grass that they had been used to over the past few days.

'Right we'll cover this area first, working towards the end of the five mile radios over the next few days, working our way back to where the coach dropped you off on the south of Ghostly Hill..'

The groups split searching for more remains.

Joe and Mark walked through the bushed land where they'd been allocated to search for more remains hopefully more like the ones that they had found on the previous day.

They'd pushed many branches out of their way and out of their faces. An old crumbled building lay only feet away from them. They looked at one another and smiled.

'Come on let's take a closer look.'

'What about the others?'

'We found it first. It won't take more than five minutes what you say?'

'I don't know Joe; we could get into some serious shit if we do.'

'What you a wuss Mark?!'

'No.'

'Come on then.' Joe said as he ran towards the crumbling building.

'Hang on Joe.' Mark shouted following his friend.

Mark ran after Joe to keep up with him colliding with him.

'What is it Joe?'

He pointed in front of them saying nothing.

Mark looked over Joe's shoulder at a skeleton that laid by the entrance , but this was no ordinary skeleton it was like the other that they had found, but clothed in a suit of armour, which looked like a faded red colour on a silver background.

The skeleton still held it's sward, and shield.

'Cool.'

'Joe! Mark!'

There find had enthralled them excessively that they had forgotten to return to their group.

'There you are you two. What are you doing this far away from the group?' Kelvin said walking over to them.

They pointed to the skeleton, saying nothing.

'Well this is some find guys, still you shouldn't have come out here alone.'

'Can we go inside?'

'Tomorrow, now we're all heading back to the camp.'

'And the skeleton?'

'The same as the other it will return we us at the end of the dig, with whatever else we find out here. Come on.'

They all turned walking away walking back through the bushes back to the others.

'There you two are. Where have you been?'

'I found these two by an old building staring at a fully armoured skeleton.'

'You were told not to wonder off.'

'Sorry sir.'

'It's okay they're safe.'

'And the next time?'

'There won't be a next time. We're all going there tomorrow to see what else is hiding by that old building. So we can keep an eye on these two.'

They all walked away through the forest heading back to camp where they ate there supper, and went back to their tents.

'Can't wait till tomorrow.'

'Me neither. We can see what's hidden in that old crumbled building.'

'Joe, Mark lights out, or no dig tomorrow.'

'Yes sir.'

They looked at one another.

'Tomorrow.' They chimed.
