Chapter 2 Project partner

Aaron and Charles were reading something. There was an old book in Aaron's hands... Seeing that, Kate said to him, "Have we come to study history?"

Laura was still looking at Charles silently. Just then Charles answered, "No... No... Laura you just here, I have set aside the books we need"

Laura answered him, "I will come for this help..." saying that they both left...

Aaron placed the book in his hand next to it. He stood up. Without saying a word, he went from that place to another. Kate kept looking at him. She started looking for books on her own. She got the book she wanted. But the book was not coming out of the cupboard of the library. It was as if someone was pulling the same book in front of her. From here she insisted. From there also, the pressure increased. She did the same again. This time, however, the books were pulled towards her and fell down. She saw the face of Aaron in front of her. She was angry when she saw him. She picked up the book and walked away. Aaron followed her. She sat down on a chair next to the table. Aaron sat in front of him.

She angrily asked "What is it???"

Aaron replied, "If you bring a book, what will I do there? So I come here."

Soon the librarians arrive. They are behind Kate and she doesn't even know it.

Kate said to Aaron, "There is a place on the other side too ... You can go there."

Aaron asked, "Why?? Are you going to break these chairs? Like you threw down a book and tore it up also..."

Kate replied angrily, "Yes ... you got it absolutely right..."

The librarian then said, "Let's get up ... pay for the book you tore..."

Kate look at him little scared, "Look, I haven't done anything..." She looked at Aaron and said, "Tell him, you were there... it had just fallen..."

Aaron answered him, "Yes sir, it just fell. She tore it angrily..."

Librarian got surprise, "What??? Let me see that book..."

Kate gave him the book. He checked it out. But nothing happened to him. Now he was staring angrily at Aaron.

Aaron said to him, "Sir, forgive us. It will not happen again..."

Librarian nodded, "Okay. From now on, use books with carefully..." saying that he left.

Kate looks at Aaron, "you just give up thinking now. You are no longer my partner. What a liar you are. Why did you do that...?"

Aaron replied to her, "It's just a time pass! And look... you will come to me yourself. You have no choice. You think... The project will not be completed without working with each other. It will be okay with you?"

Kate look at him angrily, "Just sit in front here. Take these books. Just do your job i do mine..."

They were both sitting at the same table. But when they looked at each other, Aaron was smiling and she was getting more irritating. Some important points in his book were points out by him. He gave her the books and left without saying a word.

Laura and Charles had a discussion here on other side. The discussion took place in the library shortly after. Just as everyone was about to go home, it started raining. Kate was very happy. She liked rain very much. Laura started saying, "now when we go to the bus stop, we will get wet... Then going down let's wait for a while..."

Suddenly Charles came in front, Laura was a little embarrassed... She started smiling seeing him.

Charles asked them, "Hi ... I think you two are going to the bus stop, I have a car, where can I drop you??"

Just as Laura was about to say something, Kate refused.

Charles said nothing, he looked at Laura. He left. Here Kate was blabbering alone. She was waiting for raining to stop. For a while everyone has stopped. Then the rain stopped and everyone started going.

The steps were wet on the way out of college. Next to Kate were Charles and Aaron. As they were descending the steps, Carol ran passed her and said, "Owen has come, let's meet later ..."

Seeing her getting so overwhelmed, Kate shouted, "walk carefully, you will fall ...!" that's when Aaron's foot slip and standing behind him Kate caught him... Everyone was watching for 2 minutes. Charles smiled while Kate and Laura also smiled. Because this is how it happened... Aaron was completely confused, he didn't know what was happening, he got up quickly and went ahead, just said thank you to Kate and left. Everyone was laughing a lot, saying that "the hero was in the arms of the heroine for the first time today, instead of heroin to catch the hero..." Kate was also embarrassed and left from there.

The next day in college...

Aaron came to Kate and said that "today we will finish the project doing anything, so we don't have to face each other later..."

Kate began to say a little confused, "What's your problem with me? I haven't done anything to you. I don't want to give project in such a messy situation... I've already told you I will create the project alone. I have no problem."

At this Aaron quietly said, "There's nothing like that, Kate. Let's get the project ready. But don't tell me what to do."

It occurred to her also to don't argue with him now and she agreed. And the two went to the library.

Kate was so talkative; she never even dreamed that she would get such a project partner. But in front of Sir they had nothing to do with it, so now she had to work with him.

While working on the project, it's become t six o'clock in the evening; Kate was late to go home. Today, Laura did not come to college. As usual, Charles asked about dropping her home. But as usual she refused and she started going home.

From getting out of the bus, going home that was a little far... It was dark on the way. In that she alone. As she walked, she thought that someone was following her, but she did not know it. She turned around when a shadow passed by her. She was scared; she didn't understand exactly what was happening. The same thing happened again. The shadow moved back. Kate was now very scared. Suddenly she heard scream of someone in the distance. So she ran home. Her Aunt opened the door and Kate fell on her arms, and she told all that had happened. Her aunt explained to her as "you must be hallucinating things..." but Kate did not listen. Uncle is sitting there. He said, "Stop Kate, don't cry. From tomorrow I will come to drop you either or you can take our car..." she just nodded and left the room.
