Chapter 4 How did you hear my mind

The next day when she woke up, she found herself in the hospital. In front were Charles and Laura and Carol. Uncle Aunty was seen outside. Her hand was slightly injured but she did not understand what exactly happened.

Suddenly she remembered that black shadow had come in front of her and Aaron was there too. She didn't remember anything else. She started asking, "What happened to me? And I'm here?"

Carol began to say, "You hit a dog that day and fell there. We don't know who brought you to the hospital. Your college ID identified your address. I have just returned from the village today." Kate just nodded.

Seeing Charles, Kate asked "Where is Aaron?" To which Charles replied, "When we got home from college that time only he went to the village and he hasn't come yet."

Her Uncle came into the room. He said she would be discharged now. In a short time, everyone went home. Kate also went home. But she was engaged in thought. She knew that she wasn't hallucinating ... she texted Aaron, "where are you?

No reply....

She opened the laptop and started searching for something. She searched Aaron and Charles on Instagram, Facebook, but it wasn't there. She spent time figuring out the meaning of her own hallucinations. But nothing was found. She was thinking of Aaron and she remembered him and her first talk ... she remembered at that time she had spoken in her mind at that time and he explained to her. And that's what happened in front of the house while thinking of her mother. Means? Did Aaron read my mind? How can this be possible? And how did he know my house when he didn't know my house address? Before making any decision, she wanted to know what was real.

Kate did not come to college for the next four days. So Laura was with Charles. Their friendship was slowly turning into love. Charles was dropping her home from college. The two slowly started engaged to each other.

Today Kate left for college after four days. Laura was running Access. Carol came in last time inside the college and started telling Laura, "Our study tour is going on. We are going to see Coral Sea Island. We will have to see the working conditions there."

Here Kate and Laura were happy because they were overjoyed to go to Sea Island together and after study tour hours were over, the thought of going to the beach made them happy. Everyone was so excited to see it. Because that's how it was. Coral Sea Island ...... but Kate had never dreamed of what would happen next.

As the class began, Aaron was seen carrying books. Kate called him but he was in hurry. Charles also followed him. Laura and Kate got a little confused.

Kate told Laura to go to class and she went behind Aaron. As she went on to see what Aaron looking in those books, Charles said, "we need to stop this search here only, There's nothing here,. We would get emotional and get stuck in it. You know, it's going to be difficult for me."

Aaron suddenly made him sit quietly as if he felt someone is there and that's when Kate left from there. She was walking towards the class thinking, "what is the secret of them? Aaron's secret?"

Here Kate came to class. Just as she was about to say something to Laura, she noticed a bruise on her neck. The wound felt different. When Kate asked her, Laura avoided her.

Kate thought that she was hiding something. Here Laura was thinking to herself, "Where did the stain come from?" She was suspicious of Charles because she was with him only. Now Kate really wanted to know what exactly Aaron and Charles are hiding.

She was going on a study tour next week. She didn't talk much with Aaron and Charles for a few days. But was keeping a close eye on their movements. They were constantly searching for something in the library.

The day of the study tour came and the college bus left at 7 in the morning. Aaron and Charles were sitting Behind Laura and Kate.

Charles and Laura wanted to sit together. But Kate was not ready, in the end after much struggle she got ready

Aaron came next to her. Kate put headphones in her ears. Aaron asked her, "are you okay?" Kate thought he would read her mind so she was singing the song in her mind. Soon Aaron said "change the song Kate"

Suddenly she shouted at him "How did you hear my mind?" He smiled heartily at that question. And he showed her a cod in his ear. She smiled to herself. After a while, they both started talking and Kate started falling asleep while talking. Her eyes were closing and she fell into a deep sleep.

Suddenly she felt that something was touching her hand, it was very cold. She opened her eyes to see her lying with her head on his shoulder.

Aaron also was sleeping with his eyes closed... She touched his hand. It was very cold. At that moment he got up and said, "What are you doing with me?? I'm not that boy ... "he started laughing.

Kate was calm, she just said, "My choice is different. I don't like boys like you." When He said, "I can know from the previous choice only, Kate ... don't make hasty decisions." She kept thinking, "Why he is saying this?"

They came to Coral Sea Island and they got accommodation. They went to the hotel and everyone got the rooms. They got Rooms for girls on one side and for boys on the other. Everyone fell asleep in tiredness of the journey. Because they wanted to go see the Island tomorrow morning.

The next day -

Everyone got ready in the morning and completed the visit. Kate's attention was on some other side. Now it was time to go to the beach and have fun. Everyone was playing in the sea expect Aaron.

"I have an allergy to salt water "saying that He was sitting far away... It was already planned for the night to go on a cruise night today, of course after lots of struggle the teachers got ready for this. But since it is the last year, they allowed it. That along with the time limits.

Everyone on the ship was having a lot of fun. DJ songs were playing loudly. Everyone was dancing together. The ship was now heading inside the sea. Laura and Charles were lost in each other. Kate was sitting in a corner watching the sea at night. She did not like riots at all.

Just then some boys came and started teasing her. They were looking drunk. She was terrified because no one around her looking familiar. She was trying to go as far as she could. Finally she came to the end of the ship.

Just as one of the boys was about to touch her, Charles came over and took the boys away. But the controversy escalated. They have almost started to fight. While Kate was there, her attention was suddenly drawn to the Aaron. He was standing far away. A boy was approaching her now. She smashed the bottle in his head, seeing that another boy picked up Kate; she started beating him, trying to free herself. Just as Charles approached her, the boy threw Kate into the sea.

She felt like her life was over. But before she fell into the water, she felt herself in the Aaron's arms. They were both at sea together. Charles gave them a rope and took them upstairs but Kate was very scared.

Aaron shouted at all not to let the teachers know what had happened and told everyone to go from there. Aaron took Kate to a room there. Kate quickly hugged Aaron and she started crying a lot...

She was just crying and saying, "You have allergies. You will suffer now." Seeing her innocence, Aaron approached her and said in her ear, "Nothing will happen to me. You just calm down." She grabbed his hand as he was about to leave. She told him to stay there for a while. He just stopped. After a while, Charles and Laura came to call her. It was time to go back to the rooms.

When they came to the room Kate and Laura were talking to each other very late. Laura was teasing Kate a lot. Seeing she has care for Aaron. She was also praising Charles.

It was late at night. Laura fell asleep. But Kate could not sleep. It was 2.30pm. Kate could feel the dogs barking outside. And that sound suddenly stopped. She looked down and was shocked. She saw two men near the dogs. There was a man lying down. She dropped the torch out of the window, and saw the blood-stained on Aaron and Charles's face. But now Kate understood what she wanted to understand. She quickly turned off the flashlight and closed the curtain. Only one thought was coming to mind. "So these two are vampires??"
