AMANDA
"Here, eat more." he placed a bite size meat on my plate "Don't be shy. It's delicious, I promise."
We're at their garden eating together, we're just like having a picnic at deep night. The food was prepared just for us two, I took a big bite on my plate and it was so yummy. It's a big burger with large juicy patties, with mustard.
"You're right the patties are amazing."
"Glad you liked it." I drank a lot of water and looked away from his eyes, it's a bit awkward having late dinner with him. We're under the night sky with billions of stars above us.
"Your sister isn't she going to eat? She worked hard for our training while ago." Yes, we Terrence picked me up at my house to have a training session with his sister. His sister is so skilled, we just practiced on self defense cause still can't use my eyes.
There are scratches and all over my body and some wounds that are slowly healing with the help of Trixie, helping me treat these wounds.
"She's fine, she ate a lot before you came here." I nodded "That bracelet, where did you bought it?"
"This one?" I touch the bracelet on my wrists. "It's a gift, from a friend."
"I thought it's from your boyfriend." I looked at him confused "Kidding, that's good."
"Have you met my brother?" he looked at me "are you guys good friends too?"
"Yeah, he's nice." He said "I only saw him on some pictures of my sister's, he doesn't talk much."
"You're joking right?" I said "You really haven't met him?"
"I haven't, I was born and raised here.' he said grabbing his drink "But grew up abroad, I don't even remember riding a plane."
He was silent, I have questions to ask too but I chose not to interfere with his life. Seeing his face right feels like he's bothered, his face squinted a bit like he's trying to remember something.
"It's getting late." I patted my clothes as I stood up "I think I should go home now, so you can rest. You look tired, there's no need to drive me home."
"Its okay, I'll drive you home." he stood up "I'm going to drive you home, since I'm the one who kidnapped you earlier."
"Thank you, Terrence." he stopped and glanced over his shoulder "I really appreciate it."
"It's nothing, as long as you're safe." he said making me confused "I don't want them to kidnap you by those black empires again."
"They're everywhere, right?"
"As long as you're with me, you're safe."
