Chapter 3 Three

AMANDA

"Trixie?" I saw Trixie in the campus fountain, she is all by herself. I decided to go walk near her to confirm if she's really Trixie. As I got closer, I saw teardrops falling from her cheeks.

"Are You-Okay?" she quickly wiped her tears with her hand. "I'm sorry I disturbed you in your alone time."

"What do you want?"

"I was looking for you after the meeting inside, I wanted to say sorry for being late." I said "Then I saw you here, I thought it's the best time to apologize about it."

"It already happened, there's nothing to be apologized for."

"I don't mean to interfere but are you okay?" she didn't answer and ignored me, I stood there for a minute and I saw a picture in her lap, trying to hide it using her palms.

"I'll be going now, sorry to interrupt-" when I turned around, she suddenly spoke which made me looked back at her.

"Someone could talk or vent out to can help." she said "You can sit next to me before I change my mind."

I smiled and quickly sat beside her and let out a sigh, the weather is good as always. The cold is at the right amount, the fog is okay and the sun is not that hot too. The sound of water fountain in front of us is so relaxing to hear.

"Something is bothering for a long time." I looked at her, her gaze is in the water fountain, she sighed so deep and saw her biting her lips like she wanted to say something but cannot say it. I looked unto her lap and there's a picture, a picture of a guy.

"I'm sorry, I-I really cannot spit it out-"

"You missed my brother." I said directly cutting her off from what excuse she's saying "My brother's picture is in your lap, you failed in hiding it from me." I gave her a small smile, she looked at me straight from the eye. Her eyes are watery looking at me that any second, she could burst into tears.

"Also, when I was still blind. I can overhear my brother talking by himself on how much he loves you, he sounds crazy sometimes. I even heard him praying for you, that one day you'll become his wife and love you forever." She still looked at me "I'm sorry about your break up, I know he didn't mean that he loves you so much."

"He didn't break up with me." she said "I'm the one who broke up with him."

"I broke up with him for a reason, it was his wish, so I granted it." she said tears started to fell down in her cheeks and she started crying so hard.

"I miss him so much." seeing her cry made me hug her tight, making me want to cry.

"It's okay, Trixie." I said "I missed him too."

AMANDA

"Here's your things, they're all packed up for your dormitory." I thanked Nanny Lory for preparing my things which she really insisted to do it and went back.

"Where's Crystal?" I stare at my phone calling Crystal but it can't be contacted. "I've called her many times now, is she okay?"

"I'm here!" she suddenly opened my room opening her arms so wide and waved 'Hi' "Hey, Amanda!"

"Where have you been?" she gave me a tight hug. "I can't contact you."

"Sorry I made you worried, me and the other guys just had sudden plans lately and we went for it." She laughed. "But don't worry all of us are fine, sorry for being late."

"What are you wearing?" She's wearing an outfit for winter "You went where exactly?"

"Oh, I'm-I mean we just went to Korea."

"What- I mean how?"

"You know Nicholas?" she whispered "He had those abilities that can teleport to another places."

"That's cool." she wrapped her hands around my arms clinging into me. "You seem a bit happy?"

"By the way, I bought a jar of kimchi." she gave me a wide smile "I know it's your favorite."

"Thank you, Crystal. Seems your sudden travel to Korea is really worth it." we went out and go downstairs to the kitchen and saw Nanny Lory putting some small plates that has kimchi into the table.

"You girls, both of you sit down."

"Do you know what happened?" I whispered at Nanny "She seemed so happy; did she tell you something?"

"Nope"

"You look happy, Crystal." I said "Did something nice happened?"

"Oh, no. Nothing, really." she smiled holding and playing her fork in the table and sighed. She seems so happy I wonder what happened before she came here? No matter what that is, I'm happy for her.

"Ma'am, you have a visitor." the maid said "Do you expect some visitors this time?"

"No, who is he?"

"Sorry to disturb you, Amanda." a tall guy who is wearing his casual clothes suddenly entered our home, wearing his expressionless face but little bit annoyed. "But I need you to come with me."

"Terrence?!, why are you here? How do you know where I lived?"

"I saw Jeth's car on the road and Crystal's with him." I looked at Crystal who looked away and goes back to eating her dinner. "So, I was thinking that maybe Crystal is coming here, turns out I was right."

"Yeah, Fire boy." Crystal teased

"Sorry, about what you said? Did something happen?"

"I have no time to explain." he suddenly grabbed my wrist walking out from the dining room to outside of my home. His car is waiting in front of the house, he opens the door for me and left me standing, I looked at him confused.

"Where are we actually going?" I asked "You're not going to kidnap me, aren't you?"

"Why would I kidnap you?" he goes inside the car and went inside too, she starts the car and drove. The atmosphere is silence and decided to break it.

"Where are we actually going?"

"Trixie asked me to get you"

"Did she tell you 'Why'?"

"No, I was asked even though I didn't know where you live."

"Well, now you know." I sighed looking at the window and whispered "I haven't taken a bite from our dinner."

"You know, it's weird." I looked at him, his eyes were on the road "Your house seemed familiar to me."
