Chapter 5 THERE THEY ARE

"Aren't you supposed to be at school?"

"What are you doing here?"

Steven and Emanuel question simultaneously and earn the annoying grunts from the two young boys.

"It's boring brother! Come on!" Sebastian complained.

"Yeah! We already know all of that! It's boring learning something you already know!" Elijah added, and they made a high five. Amused at their tacit understanding between each other.

They often skipped grades because they were smart. No one denied that. They also skipped class frequently and the teachers couldn't do anything about it since they are the son of the most powerful and wealthiest clan in the world!

Steven and Emanuel grabbed the pillow behind their backs and were about to throw it at their two mischievous brothers. Sebastian and Elijah were already flinching and ducking their heads to greet the impact, but nothing happened because the door was opened from the outside.

With the pillow in their hands, Steven and Emanuel halted the moment they heard the door being opened from the outside. Their eyes then glimmered in adoration and admiration when they saw a familiar figure coming into the room.

Her attention was full to the papers in her hands. She was oblivious to her surroundings to notice two grown-up men looking at her with jaws dropped and brightened eyes. Her hair was tied in a neat low bun, well she like keeping things simple and neat. White camisole tucked in her black midi skirt.

She kept her jewelry minimal, as she only wore stud earrings and a watch. Her high heels clanking on the floor, making the two little mischievous brothers notice why they didn't get hurt by their brothers.

The two boys had a tacit understanding. They gave understanding glances and smiled smugly. Raising their heads and looking at the walking goddess, they couldn't help but be in awe too.

They had to admit, well, numerous times that Jayleen is the most beautiful girl they have ever seen. In fact, she had been voted as the most beautiful face in the country.

Jayleen continued walking with her eyes fixed on the paper until she reached Jayden's desk.

"Brother, I don't understand this. I received a new proposal from the new company. I asked for their financial reports, but I can't understand this part!" Jayleen complained childishly, with pouty lips.

That melted Steven and Emanuel even more. Their eyes had been following her figures ever since she entered the room. Her sweet, soothing voice. It was the music to their ears.

Their eyes were on her back figure, carved by God perfectly. Her white porcelain legs were standing straight while her upper body bending half on the desk, as she was pointing to the part where she didn't understand.

Sebastian and Emanuel drool over Jayleen's beautiful legs. So smooth, so white. As if Steven and Emanuel can listen to their thoughts, they simultaneously throw the pillow on the two pervert boys that are drooling over their women.

"Ouch!"

The whines brought Jayleen's attention, and she turned her head to the left side, where the couch was located and saw four pairs of eyes looking at her. She straightened her posture and smiled before greeting them.

She slightly nodded her head at Steven and Emanuel first before she had her gaze rested on the two naughty boys in the family.

"Hey, guys... Didn't know you are here! Eh... Eli, Seb, aren't you supposed to be at school this hour?" Jayleen asked and took a glance at the watch on her wrist. It was almost lunch break. She thought.

"Oh, sister!"

"Sister Jayleen!"

Eli and Seb were the nicknames for them and they kind of found the names were silly because they always thought that they had grown enough to be called by that name. Well, if that was their own family, then it's fine.

The two boys faking their surprise reaction and take a step before getting stopped by their brothers. Steven and Emanuel let out a low growl because they knew the two boys were about to throw themselves and hug their women.

Elijah and Sebastian mean no harm. They respected Jayleen as their elder sister. They let out small sighs because of their brother's behavior. They also knew about their brother's feelings toward Jayleen.

"They are supposed to be at the school. But they said the school is boring, learning the same thing, blablabla... So, there they are!" Jayden said as he got off his chair and stood next to her sister.

Jayleen crossed her arms before her chest. Looking at the two boys sternly but approachable. Demanding their own answers.

Elijah looked everywhere in the room but Jayleen. Sebastian rubbing the back of his neck, eyes on the floor, embarrassed and speechless because Jayden made it sound bad.

Well, because it is bad!

Their brothers raised their eyebrows because they knew Elijah and Sebastian got nothing to say to defend themselves. They had their weakness, just like any man in the family; WOMEN.

Jayleen knew the boys were guilty. She didn't press on the issue. She then advised them, "Going to school is one of the best things in life. You will miss it one day. So don't waste your time by skipping school, okay?"

"Okay!" the two boys answered cheerfully because they had been expecting a scold from their big sister. But only got the soft warning that they didn't even listen. Jayleen naively smiles.

Thinking that the boys were listening to her. The smile that melting any iceberg in the world. With two big dimples, just like her mother, it softens her looks that always look cold and stoic, just like her father.

Steven and Emanuel were once again lost in their mind when they saw the smiles plastered on Jayleen's face. Jayden cleared his throat, and that snapped their mind back to the present. With his eyebrows raised, his eyes were on his two brothers, he said, "Let's get lunch then."

"Let's go!" Sebastian and Elijah answered in unison and left the room. Jayleen followed right after.
