Chapter 5 Something fishy

Emily's voice can't stop reverberating in Max brain, he doesn't understand the reason a special research center is to be created. 'Something lies under this' he rolled the can of Anis continuously. He was still contemplating on the issue and walking towards his class, he bumped into Nadia.

'Uh, good morning ma'am'

'Oh!, that's too polite'

'Uh it's okay by me'

His eyes make a contact with the box with her, it seems it contains vaccine he thought,

'Can I help you with that?'

'Oh... you don't have to' she moaned stylishly

' It ok by me, where are you heading to'

'To Emily's office'

He looks so curious and willingly to know the content in the box, to his surprise it has no label.

'I am to produce at least twenty tons of this vaccine today, but just have to distribute this to Emily before retiring to today's work'

'Miss Naddie, what vaccine is this'

Naddie froze her step when she realized she has been blabbing.

'Oh...it is used to increase the blood vessel' she lied to avoid another question.

'Oh... I see'

They are almost at the verge of Emily's office, when Max thought he should leave before things get suspicious.

'Uhm... I think I have to go, we've got an experiment in the laboratory''

'Ok thanks' 'Can we have some coffee together later in the day'

Naddie doesn't want to make the same mistake as ever so as not to hurt her heart'

' I am sorry, I have a plan already'

She felt disappointed, Max could see it all over her face.

A knock at Emily's office broke the chain of the calm atmosphere that betide the room, her table was piled with lots of books and chemical equipment at a corner, a board was placed at the center of the table with her name and her title. Naddie walks in happily.

'You seem so happy this morning, what's going on?' She said smiling at her

'That's a secret that can't be shared'c she replied excitedly

Emily is eight years older than Naddie, they went to the same college and had work in the same office for some years but dispersed, not until faith have them meet again working for Maculine.

'What have you bring?'

She asked, peeping into the sealed box.

'Uh... didn't I sealed this up'

'You'd better be careful'

' Whatever, she wants you to give this to the victims' she pushed the content to her.

'For what, isn't going to it react in their nervous system, and is she aware that the students will begin with their research tomorrow'

'Really!, What the hell is wrong with her, don't we have a say also'

'It will be fine, I have my way'

'Aitty, I have to leave, I have got a lot to do today'

She set for the door

'Let go together'

They were heading to the lift that lead outside, when they approached someone whom they acknowledged of.

'What's she doing here' Naddie asked almost in whispered.

'Her mother wants her to work here'.

'Does she have a mission'

'I think so'

They watch her walking to them smartly.

'What a pleasant day' she exchanged a naughty gesture with Naddie.
