Chapter 3 The Man in Darkness

' That dream again.....

The screaming of that young man sitting on an electrical chair, with taser stunning his bone that sized the flow of blood through his vain.

Unconsciously, he was striving to get out of the icky scene, his eyes meet with the man's. His heavily groaning reverberated in his skull, he was covered with beads of sweat that flows down to his hopping stomach. He wasn't able to release the bed spread as he gave it a strong grip as though he was embracing a pillar out of fair.

Suddenly, the scene changes, and he found himself in a cruel race in the depth of a forest, what was chasing him was unknown to him.

Fortunately, he was able to find himself hidden in a hut made of creepy leaves. He was in there, he felt a great relief trailed down his heart, when his ear captured a familiar tune. He is enjoying the vibes, he felt peaceful, then, was he able to release the sheet.

Furthermore, he flashed out of the bed after the second round of his ringing tune, his eyes are swell, his face looks pale, his spiky hair looks blond. Gesticulating at the blur mirror,

he reached out for his phone and have the call received.

He sniffed

'Hi, Kate'

'oh my God, I slept off, I'd be right there in next ten minutes'

He hung up on the call, he jerked off the bed with his tail standing erected as he walked himself in to the bathroom.

'Jeez, max, you almost get us in mess'

Kate snapped at him as they walk toward the hall

'I'm sorry, I've a peaceful night'

Kate began to sniffed, she was perceiving an unpleasant smell, she moved closer to him sharply.

' Are you okay'

'of course I am'

'I think this will help,' she picked a bottle from her bag that contains scent liquid, she sprayed it on his head which almost shook him.

They walk smartly towards the hall, at the verge of getting to the door, they depart and Kate make use of the next door.

'Here you go Max' part of his mind whispered softly to him, he inhaled the aura of confidence then shift on the flush door and walk snappily to the podium. A rapturous applause, that faded immediately, welcomed him.
