Chapter 3 3

Monday Morning:

Emily stressed as the alarm rang. Under the duvet, she stressed her hand to it and switched it off. She turned her head and found a good position to continue her sleep. However, her mother didn't buy that idea because she walked right in and slapped her on the butt which made Emily whimper and raise her sleepy head.

"Stand up!" Her mother yelled. Emily sat up with her sleepy face and scratched her already disheleved hair. She was up all night watching her favorite K-drama.

Emily looked at her mother with one eyes closed. She wondered how the woman had dressed up and looked good at the early hour.

"Are you standing?" Her mother talked and raised one of her fingers, her long and sharp nails exerted. Immediately Emily saw this, she stood up and rushed to the bathroom.

Even after she became an Alpha, her mother didn't stop threatening her with her long Luna nails.

In the bathroom, Emily tool her bath and freshened up.

She sighed when she remembered she would see Ryan often. The first and last time they met wasn't a pleasant one. They met at a "wolf" Party and Emily was an introvert because of trainings to be an Alpha, Ryan who was the leader of the famous bad geng then mocked her because of this and even pushed her into the swimming pool. Since that day, They had hated each other.

"Emily, you can avoid him as much as possible. It has been ten years, he might never recognise you" She told herself and did her business. After she was done, she wore a straight skirt with white shirt which stuck to her body and showed her figure very well.

She took her long hair in a bun and walked out after carrying a hand bag. She walked down the stairs and reached the dining table. When her father saw her, he smiled and nodded his head in approval.

"Just Incase, you're taking charge as the Alpha when I'm gone" She uttered and drank the coffee her father made for her.

Former Alpha peter smiled and raised his hand in surrender. Although there was really nothing to take care of. Emily was already the best Alpha who ensured nothing bad occurs around her packs.

After the breakfast, Emily walked to the compound and got into her car. She drove out and existed the green habition that covered their existence.

She got to the city road and drove to the company. As an Alpha and introvert, Emily only came out to the city once in a while although she was very familiar with most places. Although it was not necessary to hide as wolves, Former Alpha Peter thought it would be just nice to stay behind the forest so they could be free and each wolves do not have to hide themselves. Emily did not like this idea at all but she followed her father's steps.

Soon, she arrived at the twelve story building. She heaved a sigh and dropped from her car. She walked inside the company and reached for the front lady.

"Welcome ma'am" The desk lady seemed nice. Emily smiled and said;

"Emily Greymond" She said. The desk lady nodded her head knowingly and gave her directions to the top floor where all top executives had their offices.

Emily nodded and smiled with this she turned to move, however, she didn't see the tall handsome man who stood behind her so she collided into him.

"Pow!" Her butt hit the floor and she almost twisted her ankle as a result of the loud fall.

The handsome and strong man quickly exerted his hand to lift her up. Emily collected it and stood up. When her eyes met the man with sharp jawlines and fine face, she squirmed under her cloth. It was him!

She knew the handsome face in front of her. It was Liam Voon. Her Facebook crush who she had started growing feelings for. Although Liam didn't tell her the firm she was working in, she didn't think he would be working in the same firm as hers.

"Emily..." Liam seemed to recognise her. He smiled. She was more beautiful than the pictures he showed her.

"You're so beautiful" He wasn't able to enclose his thoughts at all. Emily's skin tone was very beautiful and smooth and her hair was black and long. Her hazel eyes made her face very beautiful. There was no way any man would see her and not look again.

"I didn't know you're the Emily Greymond" He uttered and smiled at her. Emily shyly tucked her hair behind her head and smiled again.

"Later, let's have lunch" He said and winked. With this, he walked out. Emily smiled at his retreating figure. He is such a handsome man, she thought so.

After he was gone, she reached for the stairs that led to the topest floor. Climbing each one with a little tug in her heart, she was going to meet Ryan after all these years.

Emily got to the topest floor and reached in front of his office. Something was wrong with her as she reached there. The tug in her heart became heavier and it felt like someone was hurting her wolf spirit.

Then, a delicious smell came to her nostrils. It was so good that her wolf, Raina began to whisper: "Mate.. Mate....Mate"

Emily widened her eyes at this realisation. Her name was near? Just then, a hand snaked atound her waist and when she saw who it was, her eyes flashed in excitement. The butterflies in her stomach began to dance. It was Liam.

"Mate..."
