Chapter 4 Temptation

Steve woke up a bit later after Adalia had left.. He massaged his forehead lazily and sat up.. Suddenly he saw the other part of the bed was empty.

'Has she left already?'

He lifted the blanket and put on his pant.

He looked in the direction of the washroom holding his waist..

"Knock knock"...

No response came.

He pushed the door open and the washroom was very neat as well as empty. Closing the door he took a look around the room.. Everything was tidy except the bed. He was alone in the room.. He felt extremely alone. He sat on the edge of the bed.. He didn't under stand what he was feeling actually.. It was very complicated..

He saw few red drops there. It seemed to be blood!

'Oh.!'

'It was her firs time'.

He shouldn't have done it.. How she would manage to accept all these now?

Last night he saw the security guard holding up a girl. The girls face was very familiar.. He went over there and saw it was Adalia.!

Why was she in such a state?

He asked the guard what had happened to her.

The guard said," This young lady must have drunken something. Now she is acting weird. She came to me and told me to send her home but couldn't even tell her address . Her body is very hot. President, you don't have to worry. I will send someone to take her to the hospital.. Pls join your friends , Sir. I will manage it."

The guard was taking Adalia way..

Steve felt like one of his most valuable assets was being snatched away, "Wait,give her to me."

"Sir ??"

"Yea, give her to me...I know her. Thank you for taking care of her. I will reward you later."

saying that Steve took Adalia in his arms. He didn't bother to look back at the guard nor the meeting that he had left in the middle.

He took Adalia and put her in his car driving to a nearby hotel.

He was confused. Very confused. He didn't know why he took her in the hotel. He could have sent her to her house. But he thought she will only be safe with him. It is the only way to keep her away from the world..

Wait, why was he thinking that away?

He just didn't know. He just would get very confused every time he would see this girl.

Looking at the girl lying on the bed semi conscious, her hair disheveled,Clothes in a mess, one thing was clear that she had been drugged.

Steve took out his phone and called his personal assistant, " Sam, i want the cc TV footage of our today's meeting in Royal Avenue. Get it and have a look on what Adalia was doing there and with whom she had been in Contact with."

Beep..

He cut the call..

Adaila was lying there and mumbling something.

Seeing her like that Steve got curious.

He leaned over her mouth to hear her.

"No...no i can't..

Can't drug brother.. Brother.can't drug brother."

Steve furrowed his brows.

He didnt understand what she was saying. He kept looking at her.

Adalia.

She was so beautiful. Her eyes were sharp like a sword , big like a deer, thick black brows, plucked in a perfect shape. Her pink lips which she had been biting again and again.. And her smooth milky skin..

Suddenly Adaila opened her eyes and hook her hands around Steve's neck.

She hugged him tightly, "Brother Steve. Are you alright. Nothing happened to you,right? Oh Steve i was so scared. Are you really fine?."

Steve was startled at this movement.. He had never been in that close contact to any woman.. His heartbeat accelerated.. He caressed her head in a relaxing manner, " I am alright..How are you feeling..Are you feeling sick?"

"Mmmmm , I. I don't know..

I don't feel good. I feel hot. I feel like i am burning. Am I on fire.? Brother are we going to die? "

Steve placed his hands on her cheeks. She was really burning. She had a high fever. He suddenly understood what had happened to her.she had been drugged with some sort of aphrodisiac..

After thinking for a while he made a decision to help her. It was the only way to save her in the fastest way.

This was actually not the only way. But he choose that way. He didn't know why. May be he couldn't get himself out of her temptation.

He placed her on the soft matrix and turned the light off..
