Chapter 4 Work for food and shelter

AFTER SOME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

I watched how she finished eating, and I sighed. It's a good thing that she eating, and I sighed.

-You will get a proper portion of food if you are going to work whatever I ask you to.- I said, and Bella nodded.

-Of course, master. - Bella said and smiled softly.

-Go to sleep, and tomorrow I explain your work. - I said, and she left.

I got back to my office and finished my paperwork. After that, I went back to my room and fell asleep. It was nice to have a good rest, so I was happy about it.

The next day I saw Bella walking into my room, and she does look pretty wearing that slave outfit. It was a good idea to not make her wear rags.

-That does look good on you. - I said and smiled.

-Thank you, master. - Bella said and nodded.

-I will show you the kitchen, and then you are going to cook some food for me. - I said, and she nodded.

As you wish, master. - Bella said and smiled.

I nodded and took her to my house kitchen.

My mansion kitchen is quite big with a few fridges, ovens and stuff. I made sure that We have enough food for every possible occasion, and that was useful when we had a small misunderstanding with other town demons.

-It is so big. - Bella said with a shocked tone in her voice.

-I glad that you see that. - I said and smiled.

-What would you like to eat, master? - Bella asked.

-I do not care, but make it quick. -I said and smiled.

I watched how she nodded before grabbing some ingredients from the fridge and starting to cook food. I like how she quickly was working in the kitchen, and soon I have started to smell delicious food scent. I never thought that humans could cook something smelling that delicious.

-I am almost done, sir. - Bella said and started to plate food.

I sat down and started eating it. I saw how she was watching me nervously, scared that I will hate her cooked food.

-It is good, I like it. - I said and smiled.

I saw how she smiled, and I nodded.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT BELLA'S POW:

I am glad that he likes my cooking. I am possibly not going to get beat up. I need to work for him, so I will be able to get some food.

-What else you want me to do, sir? - I asked.

-For now, nothing. - I said and smiled.

-Alright, sir. - I said and bowed to him before walking back to my room.

After I have reached my room, I sat down on my bed and sighed. My master is not a bad person for a master, and maybe I should be less afraid of him. He is a nice guy and seems to care about me. I went back to sleep. I wanted to be rested before she will order something else.

It took me about three hours of sleep before I saw a girl from the 'slave department' walking inside my room.

-Master is looking for you. - She said, and I got up from the bed quickly.

-What does he want from me? - I asked.

-He wants you to come to his room. By the way, my name is Ella. - She said and smiled

-My name is Izabella, but you can call me Bella.-I said and smiled.

I said that and left my room quickly. I saw him sitting on the bed and gulped.

-Where have you been? I was looking for you. - He said, and I looked at him nervously.

-I was inside of my room, sir. - I said, and he nodded.

-I want you to make my dinner and get ready my clothes. - He said, and I nodded.

I looked around and saw his clothes lying on the sofa near his bed. I took them and left to the other room. When I was getting them ready, I realized that they are made from expensive materials. I knew that I would be in trouble if something happened to this outfit.

I carefully got rid of all not needed stuff and made sure it was prepared without a fault. I bought it back to him, and handed it back.

-You did a good job. I am glad that you know how to do that type of stuff. - Master said, and I smiled.

-Of course, master. I knew that you need your outfit to be perfect to be satisfied. - I said and smiled.

I saw how she nodded, and I sighed slightly.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

I am glad that she is doing her work greatly. She seems to be smart enough to do some easy tasks. They are probably normal for human life. I smiled and watched how she was looking at me and sighed in relief. Bella seems pretty relieved that I like her work.

-I am leaving for some time, so when I return, I want to find a cooked dinner. I want a steak so ask for some meat in the kitchen. - I said, and she nodded.

-I understand you, master. - She said and left my office.

I got ready and left too. I had to go to this important event, and no matter what I could not kiss it. It is a boring, one, but I must go there. It took me about forty-five mins to reach a meeting house. We all discuss the most important things there, and I am a little excited.

I walked inside of the mansion, and I saw other demons sitting in their spots.

-Good day, Adam.-One of them said and smiled.

-Good day. - I said and smiled.

-You look happy. - Other said.

-I got a new slave that is pretty good. - What kind of slave? - One of them asked.

-She is not a demon, but she can cook food that I enjoy. - I said and smiled.

-That sounds nice, my friend. -One of them said.

I nodded. I saw our kind elder waking inside of the room. He looks pretty serious.

-Today we are going to talk about humans. - He said.

-Humans? Why do we need to talk about them? - One of the demons asked.

-Humans are not that simple like all of you have thought. They can be quite powerful if they get into the right hands. - Elder said.

-But they are mortals. - One of the demons said.

-They are indeed, but there is a prophecy that makes them more special.

What kind of prophecy, and why I never heard anything about it?
