"Good morning Mr Morris." The director who went by the name - Christopher Houston, welcomed me into his office with bright smiles on his face, he must have been expecting me.
"Morning." I returned the smile and sat down.
"You just showed up, it's been over a month this school was transfered to your name." He said and I nodded my head in response, I thought my father bought the school in his name, I didn't know it was mine.
"I've been busy with work." I said in a straightforward tone. "You're doing a great job running this school, I'm real proud of you." I commended the young man who looked a little bit older than me, from my presumptions, he should be in his early or mid thirties, the blue suit he wore and his charisma was something else that attracted him to me, he sure knows his job as a director and that position fitted him well.
"So, what will you like to change about the school?" He asked, as if he could read minds. As I walked into the school compound, the first thing I noticed was the almost faded colour of the school. It needs to be repainted and maybe with a different colour this time.
"The paintings." I replied immediately. "It's looking faded, when last did you paint the school?" I asked and he scratched his head for an answer.
"I can't really remember sir." He finally confessed.
I was disappointed when he said that, I just praised him for his competence but he just proved to me that he was incompetent with this little flaw.
"You don't mean it, do you?" I asked and he gawked at me. "This is a school under your care and you're telling me you don't know the last time it was painted?" I sighed wearily and shook my head. "Let's forget about you forgetting that, it's obvious you don't really pay much attention to the things happening in the school." I stared at him and I could see how his brows moved in disgust, I let him be but if he continued to act like that while working with me, I might be forced to put someone else in the position.
"I do sir, I pay a lot of attention to everything happening around here." I stared at him and this time, his face held a remorseful expression, I understood he was sorry and decided to let it pass.
"It's fine." I said and could see how his face glimmered with hope. "We'll repaint the school, buy new paintings, the ones with quality and invite experts to do the job." I finalized and he agreed to what I said.
"Okay sir." He jotted down what I said and looked up at me.
"Any new teacher recently?" I asked and he nodded and talked about someone. "Really?" I wondered why he had to employ a part-time teacher when they were enough teachers in the school. "What's wrong with the grade four teacher that you had to employ an assistance?" I asked again.
"She's getting married soon and planning her wedding, she leaves the school very early and I think the new teacher should be able to help her after she leaves, the new teacher is great too. She's a student of Hailey college." He beamed with rich smiles.
I have heard of Hailey College and how great their students were, I didn't find the reason he gave me solid enough but I tend to agree to him by nodding my head.
We got out of his office and he introduced me to other staff members, he had suggested we hosted a staff meeting in his office while everyone introduce themselves but I declined, I understood they were all busy and I took my time to visit their respective classes one after the other.
After I was done with the inspection and discussed with Mr Christopher about the changes I wanted in the school, I decided to take my leave and he followed me down to where the chauffeur parked my car.
I was about entering the car when I spotted Bitsy coming out of her car with her twins, Ivaan and Ivan. I could still remember their names.
They looked so much like her that one needed no DNA test to confirm that.
She wore a red suit which made her look so professional, a low heeled shoes supported her weight and her blazers wasn't revealing too much of her cleavage, the suit trousers hugged her petite body making her look like a whole meal even while in suit, red was sure her colour.
I approached her, she didn't seem to notice me at first but I got her attention as I moved closer.
"Bitsy?" She turned to look at me with those pretty blue eyes, that was the first thing I noticed about her the first time we met.
"Carlo." She called my name swiftly and held her twins firmly. "What are you doing here?" She asked strangely, throwing her long hair sideways.
"What do you mean by that?" I chuckled.
"I just got this place and I'm working on it." I replied and noticed how her expression turned sore, her father must have told her about it because they withdrew their shares two days after my dad bought the school in my name. I could read her eye contacts from how her eyebrows furrowed but I smiled, pretending not to notice any of her gestures.
"Your kids attend the school too?" I knew about that but still decided to ask, Bitsy hesitated for a while before giving an answer to my question.
"Yes, they do." She nodded her head and feigned a small smile. "Ivan and Ivaan, common say hello to uncle." She commanded the boys and they listened to her.
"How're you boys?" I shook their hands and they smiled, the kids were so adorable. She's done a great job in training them.
Bitsy got pregnant for her highschool sweetheart when she was seventeen, Aidan Fitz was head over heels in love with her back then and I'd be lying if I said, I didn't have a huge crush on her.
She was the hottest girl in school and most intelligent of the girls in my class back then.
We attended same high school -Kings High school in Smithfield. Everyone knew about the two live birds back then in school, Aidan was from a low class but Bitsy chose him over every other boys in class. They were the talk of the school and their relationship made people envious, we were close to the end of high school when we heard Aidan was involved in a car crash with his family and they all died, it was a devastating news for everyone.
Bitsy didn't come to school for days and we all thought she was mourning him, but we later got to know she was pregnant for Aidan Fitz.
No one blamed her when the news circulated round the school, we were glad Aidan left something to be remembered in the world before leaving. Bitsy went into a state of depression and suffered that for months, it was hard for her to get over him. But she got back to her feet after she gave birth and I was very glad, she's able to make it to being the woman she is today.
While Bitsy was at home taking care of her kids, I travelled to California to bag a degree in economics according to my father's will.
"I have to run." Bitsy said, she wasn't comfortable around me and I wouldn't blame her for that. "The twins are late for school already, I should drop them in their class now and leave for work. If you don't mind, Carlo?" She told me and I nodded in understanding.
I let her take her kids into the classroom but didn't stop staring at her as she bent down to wipe the face of one of them, he had spilled chocolate on his face and she cleaned it for him.
Bitsy smiled and kissed the boy, she held both of them in each hand and walked into the classroom like she owned the school. Yes, she was a shareholder before I bought the school but not anymore.
I watched for a while before returning back to where my car was parked. I entered into the vehicle and my chauffeur started the engine. In no time, we were out of Princeguide school.
I got a call from one of my flings on our way back to the office, she wanted to come over to my house tonight. I smiled while I spoke to her and didn't fail to tell her to dress sexy for daddy.
I needed it after a stressful day.
