Chapter 3 Consequences

" And that's a good example Mr Riley " professor Greg commended Cullen who's given the right answer to the question asked

" I hope I'm as brilliant as him " mumbled James beside me, he was chewing on his pen and his gaze was far away far from professor and even far from Cullen " I'll be glad even if it is half "

Ignoring him, I fixated my gaze on professor Greg who was saying something about emergency treatment

" You didn't need to call an ambulance for a minor convulsing" he said, his dark pupils scanning round the whole class " save the life before the ambulance arrive "

" We've taught this before " I mouthed under my breath, not intending to be heard, but I think James fo heard me

" For my sake Martin..." James groaned " don't let him hear that "

I choked on a laugh and gave him a playful glare

It's what he always want, to be as brilliant as Cullen or as me

" And that'll be the end of our class " professor Greg said and before anybody could talk, he packed his book and walk out of the class

" Should have at least let us ask questions " James squeaked beside me

I turned to him " I bet you won't even dare ask any question if you're chance " I whispered to his ear and he flinched, sending his glasses down his nose. He swiftly picked his pen and ran his hand through his book " will you stare all years ?"

He dropped his pen and let out a devastated sigh. James lifted up his head, look before his before he turned to me " you know I don't know what to do " he said, blotch of red shaded crept on his cheek as he bit on his lower lips

" Maria won't kill you "

As though I've said something forbidden or quite delicious, James ducked his head and dipped his fingers into his ears

" I don't wanna hear her name " he cried out, shaking his head " please don't mention her name "

I chuckled, look from James to a red haired girl, her hair was braided in two and her eyes was covered in a white transparent glasses

I just didn't see why James will be afraid of approaching Maria. No! I didn't want to be rude, but Maria is sure more nerdy than my friend, more sulky and ....

Maybe I really have to be reminded that our heart do work separately... Yeah! Separately

" Take your time darling " I patted his shoulder

I packed my books and shoved it into my backpack, stood on my feet before I swung it on my back

" Let go have some food " and yeah!, My stomach made some silly noise as soon as it heard the word ' food '. We don't always eat breakfast and yeah! This morning wasn't an exception

" Let me pack my books " James said lowly and he lifted up his head, blotch of pink shade still on his face

I chuckled. Stretching my arms, I looked round the class trying to get myself busy with the view till James is done, but as faith will have it, my eyes locked with Cullen

He glared at me, no! Maybe shooting dagger at me would have been better, his lips permed in the most tiniest line I could ever seen. I looked down at his fisted hands and I let out a soft sigh

Of course we'd been together for so long to not know what his picture really portrayed... He was trying so hard to not fist his anger on me, shout out numerous cuss word at me and destroy my face with his balled hands

Oh Cullen ! Great Cullen! Muscled Cullen!

I tore my gaze away from his and once again, it landed on her... On Sasha Montego. Her brown hair covered half of her face but her swollen face and the big bag under her eyes was still glaring

Her blue eyes was laced with tear as she stared at me with that pathetic look.. maybe I have no idea or was she begging me with those pathetic face?

I tore my gaze away from her, but not without smirking. I really was good to her, so good to her! She has only got a swollen face, a big bag under her eyes and a free tears in her eyes

Others are worse from that... Worse from those pathetic swollen face. Their heart was also broken just like Sasha's, but they suffered the most terrible case far worse that her!

" I'm done " James broke into my though and I heaved a long sigh before I turned to him

" I thought you're gonna sleep here" I mouthed and James slapped my head softly before he ran out of the class

" Trust me I'm gonna catch you !" I yelled walking after James who was running but still slipping his pace

" In your dream!" He stuck out his tongue at me, looking like a giant squid... Yeah! Giant squid

I suddenly stopped on my track, not because I wanted to, but because I was forced to.

I whirled around and a deadly glare locked with my eyes, the familiar cologne swirling round my nose

" Cullen really did a good job to your face " his cold voice resonated in my ear

" Yeah, he did " I mumbled

" I'm gonna decorate it more "

Not like I don't know, I know what will happen if I ever break up with Sasha and I'm more than ready to face the damn consequences!
