Chapter 5 Past I

Chira couldn't understand why her chest was pounding so hard. She was nervous about something she doesn't know. She also sighed repeatedly so that she would calm down but no, nothing was happening because the rapid throbbing of her chest was still raging.

She had called Erlon earlier but he didn't answer her calls so she decided to go to her sister's condo.

And also Meira, she's also not answering her calls too. It was eight o'clock in the morning so she knew, Meira was awake.

When Chira got to the door, she quickly knocked but her forehead just knit and no one opened it.

Is Meira here? She didn't come home last night so she's probably here.

She turned the door lock and she was thankful because it wasn't locked. When it opened, she slowly opened the door. Her forehead even furrowed because of Meira's scattered clothes.

Haist! What is this woman?!

She quickly picked it all up. When she finished, she carried it to Meira's room. She immediately opened the door just to stump where she stood. Her tears quickly flowed. Her body trembled. Lips open but not a single voice comes from it. Her fists clenched as she gripped the clothes tightly.

The emotions she feels with the two people sleeping soundly and hugging are mixed. They were both naked and she was not a fool for not knowing what had happened.

How dare them! Of all people.... why him!

Her body moved spontaneously and threw the clothes she was holding at the two people who were sound asleep.

"ANIMALS!"

The two, startled when someone shouted. They quickly got out of bed. Acerlon was stunned while Meira quickly grabbed the blanket and held it tightly to cover her nakedness.

"L-love?" Acerlon doesn't seem to have anything to say yet.

"YOU SHAMELESS! ANIMALS! YOU PIGS!"

"L-love w-wait, i-it's not what you think..."

He was about to touch Chira when she slapped him hard on the cheek.

"Why Erlon? WHY?!" She keeps slapping Erlon and she doesn't care if there are any scratches on it.

She is angry because they betrayed her. Why does it has to be her sister?! She would still accept it if Acerlon betrayed her for another woman but why her sister? No! It was as if she had been killed.

"C-chira..."

She turned to Meira who was sobbing.

"Why? Why did you do this to me?" She pointed to herself. There is no forgiveness for what they did to her. "Of all people! I thought you would be my ally!. But what? You're the one who will hurt me, us!"

"I-I didn't-"

"Stop!" She cuts off whatever she says. "I don't need your explanation. Everything is clear to me. Oh! I forgot, you have a huge crush on him but because you are my sister and I love you so much, I never thought you could do this to me. Why is that I trust a snake like you!" She couldn't help but to shout at Meira. She was hurting, too much.

She quickly left that room. She was vomit and hated the place. Even when they called her, she still continued to leave. She couldn't face them.

WHEN Chira left, Acerlon violently grabbed Meira's arm. Meira moaned in pain at Acerlon's overly firm grip on her. Meira was horrified by the extreme darkness of Acerlon's face. His face shows angry and looks ready to kill.

"You planned this, do you?" Acerlon said emphatically.

Meira shook her head. Her shoulders began to shake from crying and fear of Acerlon. Tears streamed from her eyes to her cheeks.

"N-no... I-I don't k-know what you're saying."

"BULLSHIT!"

She gasped as Acerlon strangled her in the neck. She tried to remove his hands from her neck but she couldn't remove them because the man was strong. She couldn't breathe.

"A-ace..... I-I can't breathe..." There seemed to be no voice as she begged to the young man.

"If Chira and I can't fix this, I'll kill you!"

Meira looked like something when Acerlon threw her on the bed and got dressed before the door slammed shut when he got out.

Meira never got out of bed again. Instead, she hugged the blanket tightly and cried hard.

She knew, it was her fault but she didn't regret what she had done. For her, it was the most memorable night she had ever been with the man she loved and dreamed of.

She smiled bitterly because she did have the opportunity to be with the man she loved but in return, she ruined the people who trusted and loved her.

Acerlon quickly put on his pants and t-shirt, and chased after Chira. He caught her waiting for the elevator to open. He quickly walked closer to Chira and pulled her hand.

Chira gasped in shocked. Something dagger pierced his heart when he saw Chira's eyes swell.

"C-chira..."

She averted her gaze from him and removed his hand that was holding to her.

"Leave me alone Erlon,"

"L-listen to me Chira... I'm begging you. I-I didn't mean to...."

Chira looked at him with so much anger on her face. She cried again so Acerlon couldn't help but to cry as well.

"Do you think I can forgive you? Do you think after I see that, I'll still listen to you?"

"C-chira, I didn't like that...."

"How's not?" She shuddered and sobbed. "Don't fool me Erlon...."

He was about to approach her, to hug her, when she suddenly backed away.

"You know what hurts the most? That's my sibling...."

His tears flowed. He was hurting but he knew, she was hurting more.

"Last night, when we had a fight... I thought you didn't love me anymore. Why? Because I thought you just take a deep breathe to ease your anger so you left my condo. That maybe you just need to vent your anger and come back after that. That you will also come back to hug me and comfort me. But you never come back.... "

"That's true... I left to vent my anger,"

She laughed slightly and wiped the tears that kept dripping from her eyes.

I wanted to hug her, to relieve the pain she was feeling. But I don't know if I can still approach her. I'm scared.

"You know what Erlon... you told me before, you want to give me your first experience as a man and so do I."

"T-that's true..." He said softly.

"I'm the one you promised, but you gave it to others. And what's even more painful is to my sibling... really? Erlon?"

She finally turned her back on him and entered the elevator when it opened. She face him as her tears flowed. She smiled slightly.

He couldn't move from where he was standing. It's like he's nailed. He wanted to pull her out of the elevator but he couldn't move. Until the elevator closed, they just stared to each other.

Acerlon faintly sat on the floor and tweaked himself.
