Chapter 5 I've been waiting for this day

Chapter 5:

Third person pov:

Finn unlocked his cell.

➪"Don't inform sir about our Sunday plans".

Baby: " I won't , happy ".

➪ "Yes, inform me after your home".

Baby: " Yes, I'll ".

Finn smiled and walked towards his desk .

Opening file after file correcting the mistakes .Sigh " A lot of work to do" starts rubbing his temples.

Meanwhile:

On the other side Gabriella reached the ground floor. And walk towards the main exit not giving any attention to the things going around. After all she knows they're not saying anything good

After exiting from the compound completely . Gabriella turns back and looks towards the huge building giving a creepy smile. " You'll have to fall for my success".

15 minutes passed but she didn't find any empty cab.

Unlocking her phone she reads the recent chat she had with Finn.

Would he still be the same after knowing the truth?

Gabriella was busy with her thoughts that she didn't notice a cab Infront of her.

"Mam do you need a ride?" the driver asked, rolling the front door glass .

" Yes ,Birch wood Rosso '' Gabriella affirmed the address.

Knowing the journey will be long , Gabriella took out her earphones playing her favourite playlist with a packet of chocolate in her hand.

Some habits don't change no matter how old we grow. Or pretend to be someone else . You might not notice but simpler things are easier to suspect.

After 30 minutes the cab halted in front of Birch wood Rosso .

"Mam we're here " the driver informed Gabriella.

" Ammm, " blinks her eyes, leaving a yawn . Car naps are amazing until your neck starts hurting. Paying her bill she gets out of the cab.Taking a deep breath she opens the door of " Birch wood Rosso " her favourite cafe .

There weren't many customers today , maybe I'm early, she thought. The atmosphere made her more comfortable , taking her favourite spot where she sits looking outside the glass window

Filled with trees and flowers of different kinds , kids playing around giving their brightest smile laughing like they've got no tomorrow enjoying every moment .

It was a tiny park not many people visit , Gabriella herself hasn't ,yet the scene gives her happiness . Maybe it's nature or the children that makes her smile for no reason giving her immense happiness.

" Here's your hot chocolate dear"

A voice interrupts her thoughts bringing her back to reality.

" Thank you aunty" .

"Don't thank me for being our daily customer".

" Cause it's different here".

Mrs Victoria smiles and ruffles her hair after listening to her answer .

" You're early today , other days you visit during evening " saying that Mrs Victoria sits beside Gabriella.

" After the meeting , sir gave me leave and...and Finn ...Finn we had dinner plans but due to a busy schedule it got cancelled " her fingers make circles on the lid of the paper cup. Did he really mean it when he said about being in a relationship?

Mrs Victoria was shocked seeing her act all lost after saying Finn's name , seeing her antics Mrs Victoria smiled.

" You like him? "

" Noooo, he's just a good friend "

After talking about random stuff . Gabriella takes leave "Bye aunty , met you tomorrow"

" Bye dear take proper rest your face looks pale" pats her cheeks.

Gabriella nods her head in agreement, while turning back she bumped into a man making her hot chocolate fall on the floor.

"Aishhh..."

"Ella you're fine" Mrs Victoria came running listening to her voice .

"Yes but" she pout pointing towards the floor. "It's fine honey , I'll make another one for you". Mrs Victoria affirms Gabriella

"Susan cleans the mess here."

Gabriella gave a hug to Mrs Victoria and left , walking towards the alley

The man whom Gabriella bumped sits in the same place where she sat and smirks.

" Wait for me, baby girl dead is awaiting ".
