"Good morning to all" .

Warren Knight, CEO of Knight enterprises, entered the conference hall with well polished attire, his dominating aura was enough to give chills .

Being a kid have you ever dreamt of your prince .Your knight in shining armour ready to take you to his magical land . Perfect for its beautiful sculptured features .

Beauty attracts , if you're attracted too it's nothing wrong . It's a human thing , don't worry but don't ever get lost in beauty because even the roses have thorns. You'll hurt yourself at the end being lost in beauty. People try to search for scandals out of jealousy .When you're not successful people mock you & When you're successful a lot of eyes don't have good intentions they'll try to break you , finding your weaknesses to be competitive. The world is cruel

"Gabriella" Warren signal his secretary

She stood up from her seat and placed all the files near Warren .The meeting started. All the employees were sitting like statues ,complete silence only the employee standing forward kept speaking .

The meeting took almost 2 hours to complete. Gabriella arranges all the files in order & starts walking towards the exit.

"Gabriella" Warren came forward with a stern look plastered on his face . All Gabriella could do was pray hoping nothing happens. Adjusting her spectacles she turned , noticing his unexplainable face she knew it's dead awaiting.

Gabriella ( Ella) pov:

Help me Lord, I don't want to die at such a young age. "Here" he kept a file above the other files I was holding .

It was a file thank goodness that's a relief . I still haven't recovered from the shock , almost forgetting to blink my eyes.

" Are you fine? '' Warren waves his hand in front of me

" Ohhh ... Thank you sir. And sorry sir this won't happen again " I gave a slight smile, not knowing what to do.

Warren nods his head as yes.

"You're doing well , keep it up " he smiled. Am I not dreaming he's in a good mood. My happiness could be clearly seen. I'm sure being complimented for my hard work it's another sort of happiness. In these few months it's the first time he smiled

" Thank you sir , yes I'll keep working harder" hugging that files I controlled my excitement

"Good , you can take your leave for today" Seriously leave , that means I can enjoy wow

"Thank you sir "

"Don't thank me too much , you might be disappointed next time " While playing racing if you're almost about to reach the finish line but than your tire gets puncher that's how I feel right now

What should I do if I don't thank him ..

"Let's have dinner together someday ".

"Dinner ?" But why dinner and that too with me . Having dinner with your boss who's already married, no I'm not a person to get involved in extramarital affairs.

No no he never looks at other girls besides his wife, and that to me , Impossible then why dinner ?

"Yes my wife wants to have a chat with you " He said, breaking my chain of thoughts.

"Ohh sure sir, it'll be a pleasure to have a chat with Mrs Knight" I can breathe properly now after listening to the reason.

" Hmmm..... I'll take my leave now" .

" Safe journey sir".

Warren left, leaving me alone. Minutes passed and I stood there looking at the meeting room reminding myself why I'm here. Sighing, I walked towards the cabin. Keeping the files in the corner of the desk ,I was about to leave but noticed an envelope there . Should I check , it can be something personal .

Keeping my curiosity behind I didn't touch the envelope and left the cabin, closing the door. My mind wasn't calm though , I wanted to turn back and open the envelope .

Curiosity can be bad at times it'll lead you somewhere you shouldn't . One wrong step I'll get caught. I don't wanna invade others ' personal life but that handwriting seems familiar , but it can't be him . They've no connection

Sighing, I walked towards my desk and started packing my stuff .

Dark X calling...................

"Why are you calling now I'm at office "

" I'll visit you soon keep the weapons ready "

Huh he could have messaged me

" Ella you're leaving early today ". I dropped my phone looking towards the owner of the voice . Goodness he scared me, I hope he didn't listen . Go with the flow don't make him suspicious

"Ohh Finn, what a pleasant surprise".

" Really, good to know you missed me" he chuckled . The way he's trying to get close with me since I joined he doesn't seem ordinary employee but a spy

" We haven't met for a week , despite being in the same office"

" I'm having a tight schedule nowadays" he whined like a kid , sometimes I doubt myself am I overthinking seeing the way he acts .

" Okay okay fine , what about today's plan don't tell me you forgot" despite suspecting him , he's the only person I chat with here because the others don't like me for no reason .
