Chapter 4:

Third pov :

"Sorry Ella" Finn held his ears.

"You know what , you should be tagged as a liar" she turns towards the other side folding her hands .

Humans are vicious , we never know what's going on in their mind . Just because they're smiling doesn't mean they've good intentions . They might be looking for your failure.

"Baby please, don't be upset".

Gabriella turned towards him, making a pout. Finn pokes her cheek giggling " Don't do that". "Why do I look like a joker?" Gabriella raised her eyebrows

" No baby , just don't do it "Finn holds her shoulders.

Gabriella jerked her arms from his grip.

" Don't coax me with your word's, it's not gonna work ".

"Okay baby , we'll go on Sunday hmm.."

"Fine. However , can you stop calling me baby".

Gabriella said, locking her eyes with Finn.

All she wanted was to act normal so that none would suspect her . However this baby thing kept getting her nerves .

They kept staring at each other .

"But I want to," Finn said, breaking the silence they created.

"Finn... others are getting it wrong"

"wrong" gives a questionable look acting dumb as usual

"yeah they ... they think we're couples" Gabriella was at the end of losing her patience

"Why don't be one than " Finn, being flirty, took advantage of the situation . It's best way to get closer , the more he knows about her the more better

"Finn... can you be serious?" Gabriella rolled her eyes annoyed .

"Did you just roll your eyes ?".

"Huh.. "Gabriella was stunned

"Never know , you roll your eyes too". He always thought her to be innocent & naive despite suspecting her to be someone's detective. Her innocent looks will fool people Finn too yet he started suspecting her from the second week . She knew all the rooms which is quite unusual he himself working for 2 years didn't know all of it

Gabriella gave a slight smile, rolling eyes . It's her habit when she gets annoyed.

"I wanted to tell you something".Gabriella nods her head and starts packing her stuffs

"Well . Do you think Sir Trey has a crush on you".

"What ... wait ..wait .. I think you're out of nuts , Finn ..Trey Knight Vice President of Knight enterprises will have a crush on me seriously"

"I just thought so " speaking in an inaudible voice.

" First of all , why would he like me?

Secondly if he likes me he wouldn't have scold me for every mistake,

Thirdly he wouldn't have always kept a stern face ,Fourthly..."

"Done Ella , fine it's just a misconception".

Gabriella was frustrated remembering the past incidents

" I'm lucky he's not my boss , or else I can imagine how tough my days could have been" Gabriella sighs imagining what could've happened if he was her boss instead of Warren .

"Nevertheless, why did you think so?" Gabriella knew he wouldn't get such ideas without any reason .

" This isn't the first time our plan has flopped, last time we had dinner plans too. However it wasn't possible because I had extra work"

"So you mean he's intentionally giving you extra work that's lame" She got ready to leave

"Maybe, although after listening to your explanation , I'm over thinking I guess"

Gabriella cell buzzed interrupting their conversation.

" Hello"

" Ohhh okay I'll be there" Gabriella stood up from her seat

"Gotta go now Finn " tucking her hair behind her ear giving a slight smile

"Bye than , do message me when you're home"

Gabriella nods her head and walks towards the elevator towards the end of the corridor.

She halted her steps , turning towards Finn.

" And sorry for earlier, my word's were rude" Gabriella stressed fiddling with her fingers , biting her lower lip.

Finn smiled seeing her antics.

" No it's fine, I'm happy we're getting friendly" he smiled brightly showing his dimple.

"I'll leave now bye"

"Bye".

Finn pov:

Hide Gabriella as much as you want . The truth will get revealed someday . Who are you working for & what's your purpose? I'll find it out soon

Argh

"If not for that bastard , I'd have proposed to her that day itself, however I couldn't , So I thought of today yet mission failure ".

Friendship zone won't help me knowing you for that I'll have to risk myself
