Chapter 5 The king

Michael was shocked to see his mother crying, she was also packing some stuffs so he ran to her.

Why on earth is she packing her stuff?.....But few years ago he had requested for them to leave janille but she refused saying that janille was important to them.

"Mom what happened.... Why ..why are you crying" he asked her but she didn't reply...."mom what happened" he asked again but this time around she replied him with an unexpected answer.

"Michael go pack your stuff.....your important stuff, don't worry about the rest we might come back but as of now we are leaving for shinda" she said as she folded the last cloth on the chair.

"Mom I don't understand... Why the sudden change and why such a long distance....... or is there something you are not telling me? " he asked in confusion.

"Go pack your stuff Michael, I just want us to leave here and nothing else....you've always wanted to leave here right? Now this is your chance so go pack your stuff" she said to Michael who only nodded his head and was about to leave for his room when he stopped

"Hmm...mom prince Ethan said hi" Michael said and made to leave but his mom stopped him with her question.

"Did you just say the prince? Pack some few clothes Michael, we will go shopping when we get there. I have booked our flight so be fast" she said and Michael nodded.

THE PALACE

When the king got to the palace he went straight to his room and he sat down frustratedly on his bed. Just when he thought that things were going to be alright, he sat down thinking.

"Mark!!" He yelled and a guard came running in

"Your highness" mark said and bowed

"Go get me a glass of juice and then tell a maid to call me the Queen" he said calmly and Mark bowed before leaving.

Few minutes later he returned with the juice and kept it on the table near the bed, he then bowed and left.

The king wanted to take the juice close to him, he found his body weak and suddenly he collapsed on the bed. The queen whom the king had sent for came and was surprised to see the king in that state.

"Your Highness are you sleeping?... But you sent for me" she said tapping him but he didn't wake up, she touched his pulse and it was still beating. She ran outside and told the guards to inform the all the royal doctors and they should also call the princesses.

"Stop it" Ella said laughing as Bella tickled her.

"So are you going to tell me? Or should I tickle you"Bella asked and Ella was about to reply when a guard came running in.

" my princess the.....

"Calm down and stop rushing your words" Ella said as she rolled her eyes.

"It's the king, he is not feeling well and the Queen requested for your presence" he said and bowed.

"What!! Let's go" Bella said as she held her gown and ran to the King's room, followed by Ella.

"Father, mom what's wrong...what happened to dad?" Bella rushed her words

"I don't know, I....I found him like this" the Queen said in tears.

The door opened and one doctor with three nurses rushed in, they did some text and gave him some injections on his hand.

"What happened to him" Bella asked the doctor

"Nothing serious my princess, the king is just stressed out and please he should also stop thinking" he replied her.

"When Will he be fine?" Ella asked in a worried tone..

"Soon, he should be allowed to rest..... I will take my leave now" he said

"Thanks doctor" the Queen said and the doctor bowed as he left with the nurses.

The spy in the palace informed the prince Ethan about the king illness and prince Ethan was happy because if the King's die, somehow he will become king.

King Ethan somehow threatened the doctor to give the king a wrong dose and wrong prescription. The doctor was afraid and didn't want to do so but king Ethan threatened to kill his wife so he got no choice.

The next day he went to the palace and headed to the King's room, there he saw the Queen, princess Bella and Ella. He then greeted them, he checked the King's condition and brought out the wrong injection, he sighed and was about injecting the king but he stopped and then muttered to himself " I just have to do it", he then brought the injection close to the king hand.
